In Norway we use 450 mill undrr the slab and 200 on the sides.

@@chrisolsen4578 Ну 450 это слишком. Мне кажется вы путаете. Это пол метра. Достаточно положить два слоя плит с перекрытием зазоров. 200-250 мм достаточно даже для сурового климата. Современные материалы позволяют эффективно сохранять тепло при такой толщине, если конечно вы не в Якутии живёте.

Not sand....I suppose it's a dry cement/motar mix, hence the spraying with water afterwards. Will turn out to be a quite hard surface. But only applicable on rocky, solid ground....

Russians usually cut corners and building the sewage into the slab is short sighted as fuck. Demo the whole bottom floor to renew piping its like 100 year old mistakes on repeat.

@@yves1551 There's no cement in it. It is just a crushed stone, usually the stones in the mix ranges from 0-40mm, but here they seems to be using a smaller maximum size. Compacting it causes the mixture to interlock and become quite solid, and certainly load bearing even on relatively soft ground.

@@jepulis6674 The sewage pipes were not placed in the slab, but under it and brought up through insulation and the concrete slab. You saw underfloor heating pipes being set into the slab. I tend to agree that the design of the slab makes this a problem if/when the pex pipes start to fail. PEX has a potential lifespan of 100+ years, but when it does fail, the whole house will have to be torn down to replace the pipes. The Supergrud/Aeroground system (and others that seperate the foundations for the walls from the floor slab) doesn't have this problem. You could also lay the UFH pipes in a screed laid over a slip membrane on top of the slab. Then you just have to lift the screed while leaving the slab undisturbed.

Very nice indeed 👌 👍 👏 I've been working with this kind of house foundations a lot. Very energy efficient and very warm. But in some areas in Sweden we have to increase the insulation to more then 40 centimeters or more to avoid moisture from the soil and to isolate from the cold. First gravel, then insulation and then concrete sort of speak. Very nice work 👏 👍 👌

With that foam board, protect the perimeter with wire mesh to keep out the groundhogs or other tunneling vermin. It makes a nice nesting area for them.

Finally, Had to go to Sweden to find a residential contractor who chairs his steel! Doing the job the right way instead of the highest profit margin way. Refreshing after watching steel mesh and rebar either left completely out or a skimpy amount is walked to the bottom of the pour with a few ineffectual attempts and 'hooking' it up used here in the US. With that foam insulation (polystyrene) I would have preferred that #4 rebar be used in addition or instead of the mesh. You don't want any cracking and/or shifting with heat tubing in the floor and polystyrene doesn't have the highest psi rating for loading. Otherwise a topnotch job.

The polystyrene being used in the video will be EPS300 which is rated at 300 kpa (or 43 psi) for a 10% deflection (and 120 kpa or 17psi for 1% deflection). It's not ordinary polystyrene. It will easily support the weight of a two storey house built with a timber frame or aereated concrete block.

А что же делать с пучением? Когда дом не изолирован от грунта, а фундамент достаточно заглублен, то тепло из дома препятствует замерзанию грунта под фундаментом. А тут ребята ни хрена не заглубили периметр, плита фактически просто лежит на поверхности, да при этом еще и по максимуму изолировали от тепла дома... ____"А ЧТО, ТАК МОЖНО БЫЛО?!!!"____ Холод будет проникать с краю под плиту, грунт будет замерзать и его будет пучить. Причем по краям его будет пучить, а в центре нет. Толщину бетона по периметру они сделали немного больше чем по центру, но жесткости все равно явно мало... Да к тому же все коммуникации находятся под цельной огромной бетонной плитой... Вы что, думаете что они вечные? Может быть в Швеции на каменистых и скальных грунтах такие номера проходят, там Гольфстрим тепло несет, зима не очень холодная. а в России... кое где климат ну очень РЕЗКО континентальный. Ох, и хлебнете горя с этой УШП... В интернете полным полно рекламы этой технологии. И везде без объяснения, что такой фундамент будет уместен не на любом грунте, не в любом климате. Просто какая то информационная диверсия... Такая технология вполне уместна где то в теплом климате, там где грунт не замерзает и его не пучит.... а утепление... это вовсе не утепление, а просто наполнитель для экономии бетона. Но наполнителем может быть и щебенка, и песок...

Как грунт под плитой может промерзнуть, если вокруг УШП всегда делается утепленная отмостка?

@@babaiker Да потому что если вокруг мороз, то холод всё равно будет постепенно проникать... утепленная отмостка замедляет этот процесс, но реально промерзанию может препятствовать только поступление тепла из дома... или огромная теплоемкость грунта. Когда фундамент заглублен то земля тоже промерзает... но глубина заложения фундамента должна быть такой, чтобы холод за зиму не успел проникнуть под фундамент. Есть такая характеристика для каждого места своя: Глубина промерзания. Вокруг углубленного фундамента тоже делают утепленную отмостку... но там глубина, плюс тепло из дома, да еще и отмостка... все вместе дает гарантию. В случае с УШП глубины нет... Поступления тепла из дома минимизировано. Есть надежда на отмостку... ну да, может быть... а может и не быть.

@@nameeman207 А сколько грунта насыпано поверх этого погреба? А на какой глубине этот погреб? Какова теплоемкость окружающего грунта? И тем не менее если погреб не утеплен и не закрыт, то в нем еще как к весне может быть лед. Так что не надо "...в нём всегда плюсовая температура."... бывает и лед скапливается.

А что Вам понятно то? Зачем под домом несколько кубов утеплителя похоронили? Для мышей разве что. Нигде таких конструктивных решений нет в СП. Промерзание идёт только по краям фундаментов, в центре всегда будет +.

Oui, c’est dommage qu’on ne fasse pas la promotion de ce procédé de construction et que la France n’accorde pas d’avis technique. Cela empêche de bénéficier d’une garantie décennale et entretient la suspicion sur son efficacité. C’est assez logique puisque l’Etat vit de taxes sur les combustibles qu’il faut consommer . J’ai construit le radier isolé de ma maison sur des blocs de polystyrène extrudé de 32cm en 2014.

Nice job, just wondering, you placed the heating pipes directly into the resistance structure, how do you handle the dilatation and contraction during hot season and cold season, I see a huge risk for cracks in time, In Transylvania, we prefer to integrate the floor heating system in an separate layer of concrete which has dilatation gaps under and towards walls

Because of heating you won't have a cold season indoors. And in Sweden or were this house is built. The summers won't get that hot. Even if the days are hot the nights are colder and concrete too dense to keep up with air temperature and would keep an average temperature.

You can always tell by the tone of the finishing machine gasoline engine how close the concrete installation crew is to losing control of the hardened finished concrete surface. In this video, they are a little behind.

In Sweden we would most often use a rock under the slab with no sand or at least as little sand as possible. Sand will make water travel on the surface of the rock in much greater extents. Great job anyway :)

Песок не подвержен пучению при замерзании, поэтому в России кладут один слой из камней и ещё один слой из песка. Ещё кладут мембрану для изоляции, в этом видео это не показали, хотя по бокам фундамента видна материя, значит она есть.

У нас пенопласт 12 см,потом бетон 22 см. Потом стяжка 12см под чего хочешь можно теплый пол. А металл в фундамент,сетку ставим краном. Высота домов делаем до 12 м.

I’m very curious about two things: 1) Is it the under-slab insulation that is protecting the ground from frost heaves? What is the sand/gravel being used where we’d be using 3/4 gravel in the US?

Im danish and heard about this concept before. Although first time i see it. Apparently its just sand. Sand is quite good for storing heat. I remember it being called a "sand bank" or "sand heat bank" as it could literally store heat for a whole winter. (Not keeping it hot but keeping it from getting cold)

In Norway we use 450 mill undrr the slab and 200 on the sides.

This is by far the most professional execution posted on KZhead, as far as insulation and prep work. I only wonder how the house settles on top of that sand.
Not sand....I suppose it's a dry cement/motar mix, hence the spraying with water afterwards. Will turn out to be a quite hard surface. But only applicable on rocky, solid ground....

Russians usually cut corners and building the sewage into the slab is short sighted as fuck. Demo the whole bottom floor to renew piping its like 100 year old mistakes on repeat.
@@yves1551 There's no cement in it. It is just a crushed stone, usually the stones in the mix ranges from 0-40mm, but here they seems to be using a smaller maximum size. Compacting it causes the mixture to interlock and become quite solid, and certainly load bearing even on relatively soft ground.
@@jepulis6674 The sewage pipes were not placed in the slab, but under it and brought up through insulation and the concrete slab. You saw underfloor heating pipes being set into the slab. I tend to agree that the design of the slab makes this a problem if/when the pex pipes start to fail. PEX has a potential lifespan of 100+ years, but when it does fail, the whole house will have to be torn down to replace the pipes. The Supergrud/Aeroground system (and others that seperate the foundations for the walls from the floor slab) doesn't have this problem. You could also lay the UFH pipes in a screed laid over a slip membrane on top of the slab. Then you just have to lift the screed while leaving the slab undisturbed.

Very nice indeed 👌 👍 👏 I've been working with this kind of house foundations a lot. Very energy efficient and very warm. But in some areas in Sweden we have to increase the insulation to more then 40 centimeters or more to avoid moisture from the soil and to isolate from the cold. First gravel, then insulation and then concrete sort of speak. Very nice work 👏 👍 👌

Finally, Had to go to Sweden to find a residential contractor who chairs his steel! Doing the job the right way instead of the highest profit margin way. Refreshing after watching steel mesh and rebar either left completely out or a skimpy amount is walked to the bottom of the pour with a few ineffectual attempts and 'hooking' it up used here in the US. With that foam insulation (polystyrene) I would have preferred that #4 rebar be used in addition or instead of the mesh. You don't want any cracking and/or shifting with heat tubing in the floor and polystyrene doesn't have the highest psi rating for loading. Otherwise a topnotch job.
The polystyrene being used in the video will be EPS300 which is rated at 300 kpa (or 43 psi) for a 10% deflection (and 120 kpa or 17psi for 1% deflection). It's not ordinary polystyrene. It will easily support the weight of a two storey house built with a timber frame or aereated concrete block.
@@tlangdon12 yep they build apartments on layers of the stuff here in Sweden. The video however is Russian (or Russian language anyway, and not filmed in Sweden) but i guess they are kind of following the swedish style of construction

А что же делать с пучением? Когда дом не изолирован от грунта, а фундамент достаточно заглублен, то тепло из дома препятствует замерзанию грунта под фундаментом. А тут ребята ни хрена не заглубили периметр, плита фактически просто лежит на поверхности, да при этом еще и по максимуму изолировали от тепла дома... ____"А ЧТО, ТАК МОЖНО БЫЛО?!!!"____ Холод будет проникать с краю под плиту, грунт будет замерзать и его будет пучить. Причем по краям его будет пучить, а в центре нет. Толщину бетона по периметру они сделали немного больше чем по центру, но жесткости все равно явно мало... Да к тому же все коммуникации находятся под цельной огромной бетонной плитой... Вы что, думаете что они вечные? Может быть в Швеции на каменистых и скальных грунтах такие номера проходят, там Гольфстрим тепло несет, зима не очень холодная. а в России... кое где климат ну очень РЕЗКО континентальный. Ох, и хлебнете горя с этой УШП... В интернете полным полно рекламы этой технологии. И везде без объяснения, что такой фундамент будет уместен не на любом грунте, не в любом климате. Просто какая то информационная диверсия... Такая технология вполне уместна где то в теплом климате, там где грунт не замерзает и его не пучит.... а утепление... это вовсе не утепление, а просто наполнитель для экономии бетона. Но наполнителем может быть и щебенка, и песок...

Как грунт под плитой может промерзнуть, если вокруг УШП всегда делается утепленная отмостка?
@@babaiker Да потому что если вокруг мороз, то холод всё равно будет постепенно проникать... утепленная отмостка замедляет этот процесс, но реально промерзанию может препятствовать только поступление тепла из дома... или огромная теплоемкость грунта. Когда фундамент заглублен то земля тоже промерзает... но глубина заложения фундамента должна быть такой, чтобы холод за зиму не успел проникнуть под фундамент. Есть такая характеристика для каждого места своя: Глубина промерзания. Вокруг углубленного фундамента тоже делают утепленную отмостку... но там глубина, плюс тепло из дома, да еще и отмостка... все вместе дает гарантию. В случае с УШП глубины нет... Поступления тепла из дома минимизировано. Есть надежда на отмостку... ну да, может быть... а может и не быть.
@@nameeman207 А сколько грунта насыпано поверх этого погреба? А на какой глубине этот погреб? Какова теплоемкость окружающего грунта? И тем не менее если погреб не утеплен и не закрыт, то в нем еще как к весне может быть лед. Так что не надо "...в нём всегда плюсовая температура."... бывает и лед скапливается.

А что Вам понятно то? Зачем под домом несколько кубов утеплителя похоронили? Для мышей разве что. Нигде таких конструктивных решений нет в СП. Промерзание идёт только по краям фундаментов, в центре всегда будет +.
@@user-sm5wy8iq2b it's not just about freezing. If you heat a floor, you must minimize heat loss. Temperature a bit above freezing is not enough, the temperature difference is still big.

Oui, c’est dommage qu’on ne fasse pas la promotion de ce procédé de construction et que la France n’accorde pas d’avis technique. Cela empêche de bénéficier d’une garantie décennale et entretient la suspicion sur son efficacité. C’est assez logique puisque l’Etat vit de taxes sur les combustibles qu’il faut consommer . J’ai construit le radier isolé de ma maison sur des blocs de polystyrène extrudé de 32cm en 2014.

Nice job, just wondering, you placed the heating pipes directly into the resistance structure, how do you handle the dilatation and contraction during hot season and cold season, I see a huge risk for cracks in time, In Transylvania, we prefer to integrate the floor heating system in an separate layer of concrete which has dilatation gaps under and towards walls
Because of heating you won't have a cold season indoors. And in Sweden or were this house is built. The summers won't get that hot. Even if the days are hot the nights are colder and concrete too dense to keep up with air temperature and would keep an average temperature.
We put dilatation barriers around every room too.

You can always tell by the tone of the finishing machine gasoline engine how close the concrete installation crew is to losing control of the hardened finished concrete surface. In this video, they are a little behind.
In Sweden we would most often use a rock under the slab with no sand or at least as little sand as possible. Sand will make water travel on the surface of the rock in much greater extents. Great job anyway :)
In Russia we call this type of basement as Insulated Swedish Slab (Утепленная шведская плита). What do you call it in Sweden? Tack sa mycket.

I’m very curious about two things: 1) Is it the under-slab insulation that is protecting the ground from frost heaves? What is the sand/gravel being used where we’d be using 3/4 gravel in the US?
Im danish and heard about this concept before. Although first time i see it. Apparently its just sand. Sand is quite good for storing heat. I remember it being called a "sand bank" or "sand heat bank" as it could literally store heat for a whole winter. (Not keeping it hot but keeping it from getting cold)
