Louisiana with some serious border gore, conquering the west coast through the Oklahoma panhandle.
Gerrymandering instinct
American Union states for the win. EVERY MAN A KING
Y’all ever been to Louisiana? No way in hell they could pull that off lol.
Nah we’d win
@@alecedgerly1277 seriously I was surprised when they managed to take over the Southeast. They're one of the poorest states in the southeast, and that's an achievement. I'm assuming the game doesn't mirror real world military base/force locations though, because I was really surprised when Georgia gotten eaten in like two seconds. They've got multiple major military bases, the largest national guard force in the region, one of the busiest ports, busiest airport in the world.... They don't call it the empire state of the South for no reason.
I still wonder how the hell do they live with square borders
Lol
We live in a constant state of anxiety because of it. We love our straight lines and tectonics messes with that.
If you've been to the locations where majority of the square borders are you would understand. It's literally a stretch of flat land that is larger than almost every European country by 100s of square miles then split into like 4 to 5 square like state. In fact quite interestingly during the colonization of the central United States, European immigrants would suffer something called prairie madness. These immigrants came from usually mountainous to at least hilly regions and had never seen such vast flat lands. And I can personally confirm this cuz growing up in the Eastern United States mountains and then go into the Midwest it's creepily flat😂
@@Grandman122Also squares made it easier to sell the land
Because of primitive surveying techniques, Colorado actually has something like 600 sides.
Texas casually 1v1s Mexico 😂
Was that really "Banana Republic"? 😂
Banana Republic -or the New York City judicial system. Trump 2024
@@ryanoglesbee1075It must be hard for you to live with a brain that small
Louisiana snaked so hard in this game that their name is where British Columbia should be. Truly, the work of a madman! Huey Long, perhaps?
Watching Ohio eat my state was horrible to watch.
You and me both, at least New York avenged this slight
I honestly thought this was going to become the meme: It's all Ohio?
@@tremedar No. just actual pain.
@@tremedarIt almost was, if it won the war against New York it would have been
As a citizen of Ohio all my life I love it!
1: I'm surprised ANYONE could defeat Florida. 2: When Ontario unintentionally handed the north to NY I knew it was over.
1: Reestablish Louisiana Territory 2: Find Napoleon And ask him to buy it back 3: Escape Anglophones
Yes, a descendant of Napoleon because I don’t think Macron will buy.
“Somehow New York returned”
Huey Long would shed a tear of joy with how crazy big Louisiana's borders got in game.
As an Okie while I mourn the loss of our brief but glorious empire, I'm glad it was Louisiana that ultimately took us out and not Texas
Lol true
Never been more proud to be a New Yorker, I guess we are the Empire State after all
NY with one of the most strictest gun laws in the country this would have to be more of a military intervention in favor of the state of New York. If this was a civilian war with no military intervention the southern states would put all the blue dem states with strict gun laws on their knees.
Rocky Mountains and Mississippi River showing why geography in warfare matters.
Louisiana putting the Louisiana in the Louisiana purchase
Dang Texas last a LOT longer than I thought it would. Usually it dies within the first 2 seconds in these state battles. But I guess having Mexico really helped it.
Texas hard to invade. Every citizen have 2 gun
Correction we became the Rio Grande empire lol
Texas even gained territory south of the Rio Grande, they’re like ‘That’s for the Alamo and Goliad.’
I mean if this was realistic either texas or California would win lol.
@@alexarr1959California nor New York should have stood a chance. Texas has way more guns. I'm more surprised by Louisiana taking over so much before losing to Texas. I would have expected Florida to do that.
The funny part is New York growing that big when everyone is leaving
Lol @ Louisiana waging war against California by trucking armies through the Oklahoma panhandle.
"Poor Indiana, so far from God so close to Illinois and Ohio." *New York has entered the chat* "Shit."
Georgia got backstabbed by Alabama, S. Carolina, N. Carolina, and Florida 😢. Still, at least it wasn’t Tennessee. Those damnable river thieves
Texican republic😂
Alaska: 🍿
The Caribbean countries:🍿
Cuba: military parades all day, every day
And also Hawaii
Bahamas: hold my 🍺 alaska
Of course Oregon of all states becomes a socialist republic...
LOL I said the same 😅
Thank you Portland very cool lmao
How can New York be on top if they don’t have any guns
Lmao we got mad guns buddy come check us out. Criminals and regular citizens
I really wanted Louisiana to win just because of how crazy their antics on the west coast were
Surprised Louisiana did that well
dont underestimate rednecks with hunting rifles :P
Cuba be like: If I don't say anything, maybe they'll just forget I'm here?
Vermont and CT fell faster than Luxembourg
As a Californian, I’m surprised CA lasted that long tbh
California has the most military personnel in the country. They should’ve lasted longer!🇺🇸
Lmao, I just played Rio Grande in Old World BLues. Nice.
I love how until Louisiana gets involved the Oregon civil war is just a stale mate over oc
Seeing my state get devoured in the first 7 seconds was disappointing
As a Washingtonian, at least we were better than Idaho and Oregon
I now give you the state anthem of my people: *70s music* I Love New York (repeat 3 times) There isn't another like it. No matter where you go. And nobody can compare it. It's win and place and show. New York is special. New York is different cause there's no place else on earth quite like New York and that's why I Love New York. (repeat 3 times)
Lol the Louisiana spread is wild.
Hawaii is just enjoying the show
Pretty funny to see how stubborn the Houston area was at resisting Louisiana takeover. Austin, San Antonio, and Houston gave the hardest battles and of course DFW fell quickly lol.
Definitivamente el territorio mexicano dio las batallas más duras sin importar el bando
I love that Croithi-Illinois never gave in💪😂
No shot Missouri and Kansas fall that fast. Especially to fkn Oklahoma 😂
Ontario my beloved, you fought well 😌
Colorodo popped off
Louisiana wreckin shop.
The states with huge cities would get annihilated by any state around it that has more mountains and higher populations that hunt
Seeing my home state win makes me feel very hapoy
I'm impressed that Colorado stood as one of the remaining states for a while, too bad New York took over
Damn, was hoping on texas there
The texas ai made it so weird by not winning vs Oklahoma
Indiana the last republic to fall never talked about but always needed
It’s pretty cool that Little Dixie is a thing, as a Missourian our history is very interesting. I wonder why other states don’t have sections like that though, there is definitely areas with more of a independent movement than Little Dixie
Never heard of it before, I'm from STL area
Cuba: Peace.... It's good
That makes me mad about Wisconsin losing to Minnesota like that no way!
The Empire Nation
I am rooting for the states with the most gun owners, farmers, and clean water.
Coming to an America near you very soon.
No way in hell Louisiana is would take OK, I think people forget over 2/3’s of the nations ammunition is stored there 😂
Capture the rust belt, you have a good 75% of manufacturing, that’s why Ohio did so good
Let’s go Texas!
Which mod is this?
He 100% set Luisland to win I swear LOLOLOL
Thousand year Hoosiereich!!!
Is this going back in time or moving forward?
Soon as Ohio took over all of Michigan, I knew this was some bs😂
Nebraska lasted longer than I thought it would
Glad to see I'd still be safe where I am in NY.
Of course Ohio conquered Michigan. How is Louisiana still around? Texas: welcome back Mexico. Mexico: but you left us. Texas: I know. Louisiana: fumbles game in the last quarter. New York FTW.
No way could Ohio take out Michigan that quickly. The UP alone is not even approachable from the South. They would be forced to go through Indiana, Wisconsin, and Ilinois. Nonsense map.
I feel as if this was made solely based off estimates of the amount of people that live in each state.... cause no way california or new york would make it as long as they did.
All hail the glorious Banana Empire!
Gosh damn 1 second and my state already out im out too
Todas las Californias estuvieron unidas por un momento
It's just how Americans get down. We're at eachothers throats until some outside force annoys us. Then we're a unified front.
what mod is this
civil war+
go new york go new york go
Sad for for North America when it falls to new york
Is this mod? Of can you have this option in hoi4?
This is a mod
Very intresting video. The real key to the whole situation in reality would be the control of resources. Oil, electricity, coal, metal ore being the most important. Armed citizens helps sure but its not going to be the deciding factor of who take over who. Texas is well positioned because of its significant control of crude oil in north American, plus it has more than 50% of the countries' refineries. Plus, it has its own independent power grid. Ohio, combined with the northeast, would be a real problem. If they got the Dakotas, it would turn the whole thing in their favor probably. But if texas was able to take NM and Oklahoma. They would more than likely combined with the rest of the southern states, and that would be a wrap. They would hold the line against the north, take mexico and its production capability, and then slowly and painfully over power the north. Plus, having huge and well developed ports would be a big deal, which texas also has as well as all the costal souther states, alowing for quck and efficient movment of supplies from Mexico and ofther states to the front lines
Hahahaa. Montanans laughing histarically at the assumption Colorado can taking over.
Most literate Montanan. Have you never seen a dictionary in your life?
We all knew it would be New York vs. Texas in the end...
Rio Grande!!
As a nation we now know the swap people have to go first
Why have you split Michigan?
Mississippi… What happened? Where was the comeback?
Years ago I would have been proud being from NY and seeing this but not anymore …
1🇺🇲🌈🎄🏴☠️🏆📻🎙️🍩👄🏈, JUST TIME LAPSE TO THE CURRENT MAP OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA SINCE 1980...
Republic of New York sounds cool!
The best part was when Texans had to flee to Mexico, and then became Yankees anyway.
Lol Idaho would not be taken that quick
I doubt Ohio would out do the Appalachian mountains, KY, VA, WV, TN would come together. Then join TX and FL
What the fuck Louisiana, did their army get lost on the way or something?
What is this based off of?
Texas Forever. FTW
New York! The state I like the most, I was rooting for it from the beginning.
Yeah that's about right
So I have to ask how you gave the different states power because if you are just going off populations then this is wrong, especially for New York. Massive population with no way to feed them, it would have crumbled.
Georgia didn’t last 10 seconds 😭 come on at least we have Atlanta
This hating on Missouri but most of us own desert eagles and 50 cal sniper rifles the fight for Missouri would be hard
No sabia que en mexico teniamos un estado llamado "La cristiada"
Yall seriously underestimate the people of new mexico. We have a high crime rate for a reason
New York go hard
What mod is this?
North America divded
Coahuila queria que existe la república del rio grande otra vez pero Texas lo impidio 😢
