    • @@alecedgerly1277 seriously I was surprised when they managed to take over the Southeast. They're one of the poorest states in the southeast, and that's an achievement. I'm assuming the game doesn't mirror real world military base/force locations though, because I was really surprised when Georgia gotten eaten in like two seconds. They've got multiple major military bases, the largest national guard force in the region, one of the busiest ports, busiest airport in the world.... They don't call it the empire state of the South for no reason.

    • If you've been to the locations where majority of the square borders are you would understand. It's literally a stretch of flat land that is larger than almost every European country by 100s of square miles then split into like 4 to 5 square like state. In fact quite interestingly during the colonization of the central United States, European immigrants would suffer something called prairie madness. These immigrants came from usually mountainous to at least hilly regions and had never seen such vast flat lands. And I can personally confirm this cuz growing up in the Eastern United States mountains and then go into the Midwest it's creepily flat😂

  • Very intresting video. The real key to the whole situation in reality would be the control of resources. Oil, electricity, coal, metal ore being the most important. Armed citizens helps sure but its not going to be the deciding factor of who take over who. Texas is well positioned because of its significant control of crude oil in north American, plus it has more than 50% of the countries' refineries. Plus, it has its own independent power grid. Ohio, combined with the northeast, would be a real problem. If they got the Dakotas, it would turn the whole thing in their favor probably. But if texas was able to take NM and Oklahoma. They would more than likely combined with the rest of the southern states, and that would be a wrap. They would hold the line against the north, take mexico and its production capability, and then slowly and painfully over power the north. Plus, having huge and well developed ports would be a big deal, which texas also has as well as all the costal souther states, alowing for quck and efficient movment of supplies from Mexico and ofther states to the front lines
