In what we will call Parkour, gymnastics etc. Or maybe they simply provided special training for him, who knows? :)

They split his legs like a wishbone and stuff him into a tree! The scene is pathetically censored on the UK dvd…I don’t wish to name drop but the clip you show at the start of your video is a show he attended a few years ago of which I was lucky enough to attend! Got him to sign a few things and got my photo taken with him. He looked amazing! Like he was in his 40’s!

He could deliver a three kick combination while still in the air before he touched on the ground amazing to watch him and even though, his voice was dubbed. • It's hard to choose one movie that showcases Hwang Jang-Lee's proficiency in kicking. He was a great all-around performer who was good at displaying hand techniques and handling weapons as well. I don't think that Jackie Chan was "relatively unknown", in his performance opposite Hwang in Snake in the Eagle's Shadow. This was Yuen Woo-Ping's directorial debut. He himself suggested that Chan be the star of ...Eagle's Shadow. Prior to ...Eagle's Shadow, as an example, Chan was the star in three movies directed by Lo Wei and one movie with John Woo as director. Chan was just not popular enough for film companies to make money at the box office at that time.

  • If you want Hwang Jang Lee at the very top together with a great movie (quality/direction/producing/cast/fighting coordination): 1. DRUNKEN MASTER.... "PAY ME AND TELL ME WHO YOU WANT DEAD. GOD? ITS DONE. CONTRACT SEALED!". This video but no mention of Drunken Master!!!!? Not only is it the best kung fu movie ever but also Hwang Jang Lees best movie/role ever BY FAR (for me also Jackies best movie ever), this is a super high quality Shaw Brothers level movie, presents the most badass supervillain character (in high quality, directing and fighting coordination). Hwang Jang Lee is so PERFECTLY utilized in this movie (in a less cheezy way), the kicking, the looks, the mannerisms, the styles ("Devils Shadowless Hands" what!? Coolest shit ever!!) and he plays the most badass character for a Kung Fu Supervillain, an ASSASSIN who just roams around killing anyone you want.... everybody knows about him and everybody is afraid.... its like Lucifer roaming the streets.... and you cant buy him off the mission no matter how much money you got, contract is sealed bro.... This movie i think ANYBODY will like, even today, if you are a kung fu movie buff and dont have this at the top somewhere then its something wrong with you. *GAP* 2. SNAKE IN THE EAGLES SHADOW. Its kindof like Drunken Master, but not as good. *BIG GAP* (the above movies are MUCH better than beneath, movies beneath have such low quality it could be off putting to some) 3. INVINCIBLE ARMOUR. Not one of the best, but Hwang Jang Lees fighting is amazing in it. 4. EAGLE VS SILVER FOX Not one of the best, but Hwang Jang Lees fighting is amazing in it. 5. 5 PATTERN DRAGON CLAWS Not one of the best, but Hwang Jang Lees fighting is amazing in it. Then you got so many great movies where Hwang Jang Lee is only shown as the final boss, like NINJA IN THE DRAGONS DEN (such a great movie, highly recommended! It has Hiroyuki Sanada in it who plays a big part and it is HIGH QUALITY like a Shaw Brothers movie, up there with Drunken Master).

    • Dude this is an amazing list and even better comment. Thank you so much for such a thoughtful statement. Unfortunately, I could not put Snake In the Eagle's Shadow as the company was up our ass about copyright infringement. This is a common problem with small channels such as ours..BUT thank you again for the great post!!! OG Ant

    • @@LWAC71 Wanted to add Kid From Kwangtung (dude just strokes his black cat and murders people) and 5 Pattern Dragon Claws as honorable mentions, in 5 Pattern Hwang Jang Lee's kicks are already OP, but then he finds a book that makes his kicks literally turn into thunderbolts (like very literally, thunder graphics come out and explosions, people catching fire lol).

  • 'Drunken Master', 'Hitman in the Hand of Buddha' and 'the Invincible Armour' are his best films. 'Hitman' has the best fight choreography, and gives him a chance to be the protagonist, for once. 'Drunken Master' has the best comedic acting, and most entertaining training. 'Armour' has the best plot and characters, and the greatest antagonist's death scene in cinematic history.
