Note to new crocheters: this isn't the only way to do this. If you're looking to have both sides be good, use the bobbin method . Essentially this is where you attach a new skein/cake of color on eahc "section" that way you don't have to "float" your yarn. You'll end up with multiple balls of one color while doing so. You could also if you want to do the bobbin method but instead of attaching a new bobbin, you cut the end of the skein off and continue using the same skein but this way means more ends to sew in when you're done
Do you have a link for video that explains this?
@@r._.12345 I think C2C crochet uses this method. Look up some beginner C2C videos
@@seleneyue thankss 🫶🏻
@@r._.12345 you can also look up the crochet bobbin method for beginners and you'll find a lot of tutorials on it
@@PixelDicaprio thanks 🩷
reminder that you can use this technique to turn your pixel grids into any kind of project! like bags, wall tapestries, sweaters, etc, happy crocheting & lots of love as always💗💞💕
ur amazing 🥲
Ty for sharing all these tips !!! I appreciate it so much
How do you hide all those yarns at the back side?
@@mikajurojuro9102 tie them in a knot or sew them!
Why are you looking to the side and not into the camera at us??? Just curious 🌸
Thank you so much Mahum! Kids these days got no clue how lucky they are to have mahum teaching them crochet!!
First video I’ve found that makes complete sense to me!
As a kid, Stop speaking like an adult. It’s not cool. You seem 65.
Dear Mahum, im a new crocheter from Vietnam and this is my very first time watching your video. I have to say, you such a very nice and gentle girl Mahum. I love the way you talk and how you tutor. Just wanna say thank you and hope you have a good health (both physical and mental). Hope we can be friend
If you use a cross-stich pattern, it will already be marked out in 10x10 blocks eliminating the need to do so much counting. Cross-stich patterns are easily available in books that you can put a metal sheet behind and use magnet strips to keep track of your rows. I've been doing this for decades.
I found a crossstitch pattern I want to use, what do I do with the metal sheet?
yeah i wanna know what you mean too!
@@marianeculek3261put the metal sheet under the pattern behind the page then get a little magnet and when u need to move up a row move the magnet up! Makes it easy to save ur place
@@jessbutnariu425 cool!
This was so much easier than I expected it to be I can’t wait to decorate my walls :)
I don't have enough different colors of yarn yet to make interesting patterns but once I do, I'll definitely use that video. It was a great and cute tutorial, so thank you!! 💜
Why not try it with a 2 color pattern? Often more interesting than 3+ colors
@@marieo305 Yess! It's especially easy to get one color that you can use in more projects (like white, black, beige, brown, etc) and then choose a more saturated, colorful yarn for contrast
I’m sure that you’re going to make beautiful things!!! 😊💕🌷 I just wanted to let you know that God loves you. Jesus, the son of God, lived and died for us. He lived a perfect, sinless life, as an atonement for sins. If we believe in Him, He forgives our sins, changes our hearts, and gifts us eternal life in heaven. There is no pain, suffering, or death there. Pray to Him and ask Him to change your heart and ask Him to forgive you ❤ the Bible, which is Gods word to us, says this in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Always look forward for your amazing videos/tutorials💖

Amazing! Such a good method and so well explained
You explained everything really well
thanks for this tutorial, you made it really easy to understand this technique.
If you don’t want to always weave in ends, but also don’t want your back to look, well. Like that. I suggest you try tapestry crochet techniques like I learned, where instead of dropping the yarn completely, you crochet over the unused color in the back. I’ve done this a lot, and while the extra color may peak through the front, and the back may still look a little messy, it’s waaaaay neater! You can also just cut and weave in! God bless!
I do a LOT of graphgans. I either crochet over the unused color or use bobbins. It depends on the frequency of color changes or how far I’d have to carry the yarn along. The front of her work looks good. The back makes me want to cry.
What do you mean exactly by « crochet over unused color in the back » ? I’m a newbie 😅
@@lucied2725 when you yarn over, similar to crocheting over the end of your yarn instead of weaving in, crochet over the alternate color while pulling it along. Typically you see this in the round, but it can be used on a flat pieces as well! It’s a bit hard to explain, but if you google how to do tapestry crochet, you can learn different techniques! That’s what I had to do as well when I was learning!
Took me a good minute to understand how to float my yarn but finally got it and now my cinnamoroll is coming sooo cute thank you 🫶🏽🫶🏽
