Rescue Dog With a broken Rib Cage, the Dog rib cage was bent and twisted.
A dog was sleeping and A car drove over her, usually in such situations, dogs get fractures in the leg or in the Spinal cord. But here the ribcage of the dog got fractured, and her ribcage got bent and twisted.
Surgery in such a case is very complex, we can't repair the fractured part as it may tear the thoracic cavity in which the heart and lungs are situated.
The Veterinary team decided to stabilize the dog and keep that part as such.
