I remember what you are talking about. Nick Leddy deflected the shot and caused Crawford to be caught by surprise. However, I do think that the Blackhawks used righteous indignation the following year as a fuel to win their third cup in six years. I'm not sure if they would have possessed the same exact hunger had they been contented by beaten the Kings in game 7 of the conference finals. We both agree that, afterward, the Rangers were powder puffs for whoever arose out of the West.

Tampa Bay thank you for giving us a great series. This series tied an NHL record with at least 5 games decided by 1 goal. Also, this is the first time all season you have dropped three in a row. That is really impressive. You guys will be back. We were in the same position in '09 when we lost to Detroit in the Conf Finals. But the very next year we came back with a fury and won it all. You will be a tough task for anyone to handle for a long time coming. Another record, the Hawks finished the year undefeated when having the lead going into the third, like 34 or 35-0. The only thing I would have to say is that I have never agreed with Mike Milbury on a lot of things but what he said last night, I agree with. I don't want to hear about your injuries just moments after you leave for the locker room. That taints the Hawk's win. It's the Cup Finals. Everyone is playing hurt. And if Bishop had a pulled groin, shame on him and Cooper for not replacing him with Vasilevskiy. That is selfish. I would want the best chance to win and with Bishop hurt playing in net, you guy's didn't have that. Thank you Hawks for winning it in Chicago. Now Stan Bowman, use your magic to get us under the cap. See you all in early October for the preseason.

My beloved hawks❤️ first it was Hossa and his skin allergies to the sweaters. Then came Sharp and him retiring from the game. Seabrook was traded but subsequently retired as well. After that Shaw had to retire due to his injuries. Not after 2 months of being traded Crawford retires from the devils. Year or two later Kieth decided to be closer to his son and dropped his clause to be traded to the Oilers. After that 2 months ago, Patty Kane leaves as well, to try his hand in the cup with a promising team with the rangers. And now, not more than 2 months after that, our Captain plays his last game. I was 10 when you one for the first time, 13 the 2nd, and 15 the third. My father loved you and so did my mom and her side of the family. They’re both gone now…so I look back to these games and remember, remember the team. My beloved Blackhawks❤️🖤🤍

+Kristy4826 yes exacly! this is the best
well i got my wish. but they indirectly got rid of the "top 10 plays of the game" theres the "top shelf" videos but theres no order to them.
Same man!
2010 2013 2015 feels great to be the champion
+robbieyh 2012 and 2014! feels great to be a king!
I am a Rangers fan and I am really happy the Hawks beat the damn flyers Bruins and the Lightning congrats on 3 cups in 6 seasons
***** watch it!
***** wanna bet?
+Trent Encarnacao Lol says the guy who's team lost to the Kings. The Bruins played the Hawks the best out of the 3 Stanley Cup teams the Hawks played
Hawks Win...Hawks Win. The Blackhawks are now surely legends 3 Stanley Cups in 6 years. That no-look pass by Richards to Kane for the second...simply awesome. Tampa will surely be back fighting next year with a young team and will be better for the experience. What a great series between 2 great teams.
Darren Attew The 3 cups in 6 seasons is especially amazing with the hard salary cap in the NHL.
I think the Bruins - Blackhawks SC series was the best
Well, you were right about Tampa, they have now won twice in a row
@@flipperpenguin9648 And now they made it again.
Anyone else watch this after Tampa won the Cup in 2020 game 6, same score 2:0, and noticed how both goals are EXTREMELY alike in these two games?? What are crazy coincidence.
OMG I didn't realize that. I think TB had more chances to score in this game then Dallas had in ours. Also, Stamkos hit a post and was denied on a breakaway.
I just commented the same thing before reading yours. I guess they showed us the way?
:(
So good to see Kimmo with the cup.
As a Hawks fan I get such a high watching this...amzing team, great game...just awesome. Makes me emotional watching this Hawks team winning the Cup at the United Center!
goosebumps EVERYTIME! GO HAWKS!!
Looking back now, the very start of the Lightning domination and the end of the Blackhawks domaination.
That is 100% correct. It’s sucks as a Chicago fan.
It makes me emotional because I absolutely miss these glory days, but I’m so grateful and thankful to have been able to live through and experience this magical six year run! ❤️🖤❤️🖤
bruh I was not into hockey during the 6 year run, wish I was
My god, what a ride. Never have I been so invested in a team. Never have needed it more, never have I been so satisfied. I watched or listened to every game this season. It did not disappoint.
Too young to see the Bears win the Superbowl ( was only 4), but I've seen the Bulls win 6 titles in 8 seasons, seen the White Sox win in '05, and seen the Blackhawks win 3 titles in 6 seasons. I'm pretty damn lucky. Just for a bonus I'd like to see a Bears superbowl victory and a Cubs world series victory but after seeing 10 titles in my lifetime and being only 33 I can't complain at all.
As long as Jays on the bears, the Superbowl is way out of reach until we trade him or he retires.
Ryan Donato On top of that, you're a Static-X fan. Disco Evil family.
+Ryan Donato You're lucky. I have only seen the White Sox win the WS in 2005 (screw them, Go Cubs lol) and the Hawks win 3 Cups. The feels from winning each Cup were amazing! The Cubs and Blackhawks are the kings of Chicago sports right now, and both should be contending for their respective championships for the next few years at least. Hopefully the Bears and Bulls figure it out soon. And lastly, the Chicago Sky... they keep getting close, but maybe next year will be better.
+Ryan Donato cubs need one now
Kings SUCK you fkin SCRUB!!
I’m a Lightning fan but that was a heck of a series! Put us back on the map
I literally get goosebumps everytime i replay the Richard to Kane goal. The feels on that game winner 😱
As a 54 year old hawk fan who saw Hull and Makita only on games of the week on occasion, with Peter Puck, then started going to games in the late 70's and 80's... This is magical, can't get enough. Gretzky, we might have won a cup or two if he hadn't come along with Messier, but hey, Hockey kicks ass!!!
TheSeeker1960 What do you mean by "we might have won a Cup or two if [Gretzky] hadn't come along with Messier"?
SAVE MADE BY CRAWFORD who is that commentator? he's epic
Doc Emerick
Марко Златев Pat Foley would've been more epic
SuperSparrow45 John Wiedeman would have lost it when that happened.
SuperSparrow45 Foley is a great play-by-play guy and one of my all-time favorites, but Emrick really takes the cake during playoff games for me. He's a Devils original but makes the game exciting for both fans, regardless of who's playing.
Zan Well that isn't really fair since Pat can't do playoffs past the first round. If he did, I'm sure he'd be as good or better than Doc.
Been watching the Hawks for 50 years. Keith is the best D to wear the Indian Head, and Hoss is the most complete player. What a dynasty.
As a Bolts fan, this was such a great series
I was around 10 years old when I watched this live on TV, glad I grew up watching hockey. I very much miss this announcer as well.
3:16 Ah man, Goosebumps every time!
Man , this was a great team. It was beautiful to see them win at home.
Thanks for all the work you've done this with the replays.
That's hockey baby
today marks the 5th anniversary of the Chicago Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup! and it was on a Monday no less, and on Jim Belushi's birthday. June 15, 2015. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Chicago's own Jim Belushi!!!
The excitement when Kane scored the final goal!
To finally win it at home brings tears to my eyes after watching and going to games. Seeing Stan score his 500th and guys fall from the old mezz in the real Madhouse. Oh how I wish they still played there! From age 6 till 49 and them finally wining! Such a long.long time to be gone and a short time to be there....!
Such a shame how much hate Crawford got in his last couple of seasons with the hawks. People forget, when he was on, he was ON. What a shutout Crow!
Duncan! We MISS him!
What a game from both teams and a great series!! Mad respect for the tampa bay hockey team! Best cup final I've seen even though it was in 6 games. I wish nothing but the best of luck to tampa next season! Go hawks!
cory harris This series is my favorite one of all the playoff games this post-season :)
Mine too:)
+cory harris This was an apic battle, but the Hawks vs Bruins match-up is my favorite playoff match-up of all time (in any sport).
+cory harris No, absolutely not. Zero fucking respect for Tampa Bay. Filthy undeserving scumbags denying ticket sales to supporters of the other team. What a fucking disgrace.
Irishkilla79 I will bet right now Tampa does not go back 2016,win or lose the statistics are pretty much the same for just getting back to the cup final let alone winning 2 consecutive.
Tjfreak They're the best team in the East by a longshot, why wouldn't they go back at least once in the next few years? Who's gonna stop them? The Rangers? LOL.
your a sick guy put up the highlights real quick respects
This makes me tear up still :') on home ice, what a sweeet victory!
It's fucking sweet isn't it. I was outside in the plaza when the Lightning won in '04 and it was great.
@@boltinabottle6307 I'm sure the 2021 Cup win on home ice was also sweet.
Those three cups were the best nights of my life!
Ah, nostalgia! I’ll never forget this important day that happened in my life!
I was in the house that night. If I live to be 100, I will never witness (in person) a more electrifying sporting event than this. I swear, I thought the roof was gonna come down when Kaner scored.
Feels weird seeing games with fans Im watching in 2020 btw
Watching this back, and seeing the chances there werethis had to be a top 5 hockey game for me. This was just so intense and such a good defensive game.
2:48 - 3:02 Doc Emrick is a treasure.
I’ve seen blackhawks win 3 times in my life, Cubs once, Sox once, now I just need my bulls and bears to come through!!
Go Hawks!! Always exciting to watch these, even if they're really old. I don't get excited over old highlights, except when it's my team winning the championship. Any sport college or pro.
I just checked and this is the last time a team has won a cup at home
man it must feel good to finally win at home. i can tell by crawfords face when the horn went off
You did a wonderful job with this. Thank You
This game is such a nostalgia for me, I remember watching this final on my laptop in my room at 4 in the morning (time zone, I'm from Poland) - I was 11 years old back then so I had to be very quiet and I couldn't celebrate any of goals because I would wake up my parents and they would be angry af that I've been up since 2 AM while I have school at 7 AM. Afer the celebration has ended I went to school after only 1 hour of sleep and I was sleeping during the lessons haha
I’m delighted Kucherov had the best view in the stadium of Patrick Kane’s Stanley Cup winning goal.
Who else is here after Doc retired
So cool watching these guys go at it again in 2020. #Blackhawks
The passing of the Cup is the coolest tradition in all of sports.
The doc was the mvp
Funny, I was slumping my friend while watching this, and it was my birthday! What a present!
Seeing Steven Stamkos and Jonathan Toews shake hands after a hard fought series is amazing to see.
as a ducks fan, i gotta say that i just love when the horn goes off in chicago.
This.. this was one of the greatest moments in my life
I remember watching this with my friends at the sports bar it was awesome watching it there that night😀
Old thing back :-) so fitting after such a long time not winning it on home ice
Damn Crawford was amazing
Wow, the memories...!
I was reliving this is if if was still new to watch!
Crawford underrated playoff goalie
I’m an isles fan and Kane’s goal gives me chills every time I see it
Great Game:() i am happy this team won the Stanley Cup.
This was 7 years ago, good lord.
Love this city
I was there it was awesome.
Bedard.. bring the cup Back to Chicago
2:04 was lit
I miss Doc so much
Sweet Home Chicago!
Anybody watching us in 2020 and still gets the chills???
The Hawks finally got to win the Cup at home. Utter joy a jubilance! Oddly, I also sensed that the Tampa Bay fans also celebrated in empathy with the Hawks fans base. It was almost as if the fact that their heroes were granted permission to skate on the very same ice as the Vaunted Blackhawks was a triumph in itself. I truly hope the Lightning fans savored the moment.
It’s officially and end of an era🥺
not anymoreee
ya still gotta remember the last time the wings won the cup,I think he said, "the first thing you think when you see this team is, let's give em' the keys to the hall of fame!" that memory is implanted in my head.
Best goals of all time
Wow, this really makes me miss having fans at the game.
Normally you’d say “Richards, how can you pass it when you have a golden opportunity to shoot?” But he’s such a great passer, and he had Patrick Kane, one of the league’s most dynamic scorers, in prime scoring position. Perfect pass and finish to seal Cup #3 for the Hawks!
No. Richard’s was hired to set up Kane not steal his thunder. Plus Bishop gave Richard’s zero angle to shoot at. Garrison should have known that and closed down Kane.
The greatest game played on earth.
This is the first and only video on KZhead I've ever gotten goosebumps from!
This is exactly how lightning won the cup in 2020 😳🤯
Scored the same way too 😳
:(
And now the Lightning have won back to back cups and could go for a third if they get their cap situation figured out
Won’t happen
Pure joy
bishop and garrison literally did not move when richards made that pass to kaner 2:48
The golden years.
Anyone know the name of the song that was playing when Toews picked up the cup?
Ah, memories!
Everyone will always agree that overall the 2010 and 2013 teams were the best…but that 2015 group of forwards was insane for the Hawks: Kane, Toews, Sharp, Hossa, Richards, Teravainen, Versteeg, Saad, Shaw, Vermette, Bickell, etc they were absolutely loaded after getting Kane back just in time for the playoffs.
Great game
The announcer is brilliant.
That Kane goal was awesome
I'd have given my life savings for a ticket to this game
You and me both
Congratulations Blackhawks you are the luckiest team in 2014-2015. Extremely proud of you Blackhawks. Pls no haters
The best
Ah, Good times.
2:53 Ah, never gets old!
