This epic trip is well known to be fairly hard. We just had to try it out. It certainly proved to be challenging for our little group:
Two Mitsubishi L300 4WD vans with diff locks and
the mighty Iveco EarthCruiser weighing (weighing 5.5 t with 300 l of water and 300 l diesel)
If you like the L300 vans please subscribe to my channel (Martin VanMan) as there are more than 150 edited videos and many more to come. They are getting wilder too!

that iveco is sick
Wow,, This puts a new thing to FWD !!
If the front were engaged with a little more momentum, that IVECO was going through that pool
I like your flares where did you get them from?
dphothisane They are Bush Ranger flares. You can get them from ARB. They look the same as what you can buy from Clark rubber but it comes with a spring steel wire. To fit them to the front doors is pretty hard, it is not a screw on job!
how did you build your custom lockers on L300 ?
ARB sells an air locker for our 8" rear diff and at that time I welded the front diff. It never failed and only busted a freewheeling hub after years and years of abuse. Now upgraded the diff with a rare 8" low pinion Pajero/Montero front diff that is fitted with a Lokka Auto Locker. Works a treat!
