To those that have been complaining all year about the glow squid why in the blood soaked hells would the moo bloom be better than the glow squid it’s a reskinned cow that drops flowers on death instead of mushrooms The glow squid added a new item to the game that allows one to dye a sign and that was previously impossible and a glow item frame These have actual usage in the game and who knows if they will allow it to be used on armor in the future

I've noticed that so far all three mobs have had a use that's easily connected to redstone. The copper golem is obvious, of course, but the grumpy light one can be manipulated with redstone lamps and the item collector one is attracted by note blocks. Pretty cool

I think they could re-introduce the copper golem Hear me out Mojang, why not make copper golems work as redstone based upgradable defense and utility mob for villages? He looks like a toy, he could play with baby villagers and follow them, he could fight monsters with his little stack, being some kind of overwhelm the enemy type of mob And he could be idk upgradeable making him less random to press buttons, perhaps assigning him to specific buttons, and why stop on buttons? So much this guy could do Hope they add him back

Agreed. I'm voting for the copper golem, as there will be a new use for copper, as in real life copper is used for mechanical wiring, along with a new button type. This could lead to iron and gold buttons as well, crafted with 4 nuggets, to not contradict the nuggets' crafting recipe.

The problem I have with mob-votes is that the loosing mobs are just completely scrapped. It would be far better if the mobs that lost were put on hold and added in later updates when Mojang had the time to develop them. Or, the second most popular mob was added to next years vote.
At the same time though, someone will make a mod for the scrapped mobs anyway, and it gets people into modding more, so it’s an alright trade off.
That was only in 2017. The mobs that lose are confirmed to come in future updates.

Man, if adding the Copper Golem means we might run into "abandoned" spaces that look like ancient technology, that might be worth it for the cool places we might find. If not, though, then I think the Allay would be best, although the Glare looks really awesome, too.

You can revive it, but think about how annoying thatll be, you place a nice statue and a troll comes and make it run off in a random direction
@@spicydiarrhea5662 I believe that just like copper stuff in general, you can "preserve" it and also restore it from oxidisation if it does "die" in the first place. Not a confirmation, but I imagine it works similar to how you can "fix" iron golems by giving them iron ingots.
Honestly both the copper golem and the alley NEED to be in the game. Their tasks are so simple but yet open so many possibilities for builds I don’t see why we can only have 1.
They're probably gonna add them later on. This is just to keep it more interesting.

the alley is the best. Copper golem is useless as it turns into a rock
The allay is useless though. If you want to pick up items you can just walk up to them and if you want to transport them, a water or hopper system works fine.

no one is mentioning how the *copper buttons* stay down. POSSIBLY like the copper bulb that is toggled in stead of triggered. speculation. but this is perfect for the trial chambers
