An important lesson from this is : if you watch others footage to see how they succeeded, don't forget to also check how they failed

Based on today's survival rate on each floor, Wirtual's chance of reaching Floor 8 each run is 0.05906998070116476%. Hopefully today he reaches Floor 8 and maybe 9 too since turtling is kinda his thing!

Progress gets slower the further you get up. Likely only about 1/4 of the way through timewise. Consistency is key. Reality is that a lot of the competition will have to start playing less than Wirtual due to work commitments.

I’m seeing On the officially made deep dip rules you can’t practice and practicing says it includes watching videos of people playing “undiscovered” areas what does that mean? And does that mean wirtual is like disqualified from the prize pool if he got first thru third?

The whole sentence is "Practicing the map in any way includes watching videos and clips of any undiscovered areas, which are driven by players in the editor." That last part is key. He's only watched "discovered" areas because they were on the official server and not the editor.

Discovered in ti's case I think means discovered by any of the contestants, not just by wirtual himself. That is, he can watch vods of other people in the event. Anyone can download the map, open it up in the map editor, and drive floor 15 if they wanted, even though nobody has yet reached that floor. If someone did that, wirtual watching them would be grounds for disqualification because that person didn't "discover" that part of the map by driving there legitimately.

2 pc setup isn't really gonna help out with the performance of a single core game. It's much nicer for performance on beefier multi-core games.

Its fine man, it gets proggressively harder. And having to drive 20 mins just to get to next puzzle. So no need to panic anything. edit: just watched the wod, he already up to 800... thats big progress. edit2: so close to lv 8. also lv 8 looks easy.

all he needs is a few lucky first tries in the harder floors and he will catch up in experience

@@yesnt7356 There is least 40-60 hours left atleast before he get to fin. Like lets do some math. Lets say it takes 1 hour to get floor 10, and you need 7 tries to to floor 11. You would need to drive 7 hours of perfect runs. Nobody drives perfect. I am wondering how long will the first finishing run take? 4 hours?

in theory the time it takes to get higher up each floor almost ramps up exponentially

@@ZvedeENG, well, not purely exponentially. Some floors are harder than others. But, then again, the time taken to complete each floor decreases as he gains experience. So, it's a mixed bag. But, it would be interesting to calculate Wirtual's average rate of climb and if it has gotten faster or slower over time.
