True story: Since early 1990s, Keaton has been a real part of the Big Timber/Boulder community. He has been a true volunteer fire fighter & has earned the respect of his neighbors. Tshirt, blue jeans and boots. He looks like every other guy in town. Nice, nice man.
That is so nice to hear I’ve admired him for years
Is that in Colorado?
@@soulkiss1001Montana!!
He also sold me some really lovely towels at Bed, Bath and Beyond : )
Don’t go chasing waterfalls
Michael had me laughing when he was that bed bath and beyond supervisor XD
Bed bath and WAY THE FUCK OUT THERE!
Multiplicity is one of my favorite movies. So funny. “She touch my pee Steve.” 😂😂😂
Mr. Mom is one of my all-time-faves 🤩 and Spotlight was outstanding. Great actor. Great episode 👍🏻
"Wanna beer? It's 10 o'clock in the morning, Scotch?"
220, 221...whatever it takes.
😂😂❤ forever
@@RazorsEdge1810 .. my fav line of the movie.
In my top-5 favorite lines from this movie 😂😂😂
"Mr. Mom" was one of those movies that was always on HBO when I was a kid. I must have seen it ten times. It's been cool to see Keaton grow as an actor over the years, from comedies like "Gung Ho" and "Night Shift" to great dramatic roles, his latest one being the drug addicted doctor in "Dopesick". What a talent
I’ve been a Michael Keaton fan since I was nine watching Gung Ho in 86. Him as Batman was at the peak of childhood. From Multiplicity to BJ to Birdman he’s been an American movie mainstay and hero forever.
You abbreviated Beetlejuice for more than one reason didn't you? 😏😂
Hey I saw him first with Jim Belushi
Having him as Batman in the peak of my childhood also is truly a core memory in my life, and honestly, a literal bar-setter for my appreciation of future actors. He is such a talent in the full sense of the word. And to be a good human on top of all of that is so refreshingly amazing!
Multiplicity is my FAVORITE Keaton movie!! Brilliant performances!! I've watched it 20 times since it came out and it gets funnier and funnier every time!! Michael Keaton ROCKS.
Thanks for that. Just put it on my watch list
@@susanpeck530You will LOVE it.
Remembering Norm!!! Please make this happen! Maybe a 3 parter. ;-)
Michael Keaton is so real. Love his talent - he ROCKS. ❤️😊
Mister Mom was my favorite as a kid in the 80s
No mention of "Night Shift" ? Pure genious fluff comedy cult gold imo. Keaton at his comedy peak. I still watch every few years for Winkler, Keaton, Long nostalgia trip. My buddies and I knew every line back in the day 😆 Thanks Michael for all the great work !
Michael is brilliant in every role he plays.
Very underrated Keaton movie was The Dream Team. Lots of funny bits in that one.
"big inning'
My dad’s all time favorite movie.
don't forget Jacky Brown
YES Dream Team! Such a good flick, I forgot about!
Amazing choice! I have loved him since I saw him in Night Shift. If you have not seen that movie, do yourself a favor and watch it. He takes over the movie as he does in most of his movies. When they cast him as the vulture, I was concerned but he knocked it out of the park. Keep making movies, Michael, and we will keep watching them.
That DeVito x Schwarzenegger Oscar riff was one for the books! Glad you guys interviewed Keaton... VERY timely!
Shouldn't have been DeVito & Pfeiffer?
The ascot killed me.
What do you have against the SCOTS?@@ValerieCH1
Batman meets Mr. Freeze and The Penguin (yeah, Freeze was from the Clooney era)
I’m glad Dana mentioned The Founder. Such a great movie!
I couldn't love these guys more. Michael Keaton, Spade and Dana. Three of my all time favorites.
Love Michael Keaton! The founder is a go to movie!!!
Michael Keaton is about as fun as it gets!😂❤🎉
& serious too
I thought that flash movie would be stupid, but I kinda liked it and especially liked seeing Mr. Keaton come back as Batman, he really stole the show.
It wasn’t befitting of Keaton or his Batman. He should’ve got his own comeback movie as Batman. An older Bruce Wayne movie for 2.5 hours would’ve been more suitable for such a cultural icon.
He’s the ONLY reason that movie was anything. I can’t stand that narcissistic twit who plays the flash but I couldn’t miss seeing Keaton as Batman again. :)
He was definitely the highlight of the movie for me. I mean the story wasn't bad but seeing him was what really got me invested! Supergirl too.
What a comfy dude. So relaxing.
I have such a crush on Michael Keaton.... :)
"This is Chuck, to remind Bill to SHUT UP!"
Night Shift! Years later, remembering how HARD i cracked up at that scene
I watch the clip where he examines the word "prostitution" when I'm feeling down.🤣
@@angelotro"Shun" to push away 😂😂😂
“He could have played Billie’s Chuckle Hut…” lol
he was great in PACIFIC HEIGHTS!
He was! Such a great role for him
@@cheribee968Underrated, came out between the 2 BATMAN movies, kinda got lost in the shuffle
I was on the edge of my seat waiting for Keaton to mouth, “I’m Batman.” Would’ve been epic.
Michael Keaton my favorite actor
One of the few great actors that never disappoints. I've loved over 90 percent of everything he has done since his breakout role in the early 880's as Billy Blaze in "Night Shift". His ability to get involved with high quality, entertaining projects is uncanny.
Johnny Dangerously. Mr. Mom. Huge part of my vhs childhood.
Hey Mike, don't go chasing waterfalls. I don't want no scrubs..
I am 50+. I got that one. Not that anyone cares. Loved the Other Guys. He was great in that too.
@@MOE-db8oc I knew my real ones would catch it🤣
@@DavidMccallister65 Just noticed your tag too. Nice. How’s Kevin doing these days? lol.
Loved that batman oscar moment
David Spade and Micheal Keaton are 1 of only 10 people that did the Norm MacDonald has a Show. I was waiting for the Norm conversation. Someone else made me wait for this once. ONCE!!!! Rack 'Em!!!
Did he ever come up?
Loved him in The Other Guys! Bed Bath and Beyond, and that Wooden Fkn Gun. Lol.
Really enjoyed the talk about SNL. Great to hear about Keaton's experiences and stories.
Keaton is one of my favorite actors ….i grew up on Mr mom ..we had a VHS tape my bought because she liked the movie ….its one we had forever ..she prolly bought it in the late 80’s at some point…i saw Batman returns in the theaters when i was 8 ..almost 9 but it stuck with me …then I remember being so surprised when I saw him in the others guys ..he killed it in that movie! I so happy that he returned as Batman and soon to be Beetlejuice…hes a true legend
I love Dana’s Dennis
Michael Keaton is by far my favorite actor of all time! I love his versatile acting from Mr Mom to Batman to Beetlejuice to Birdman to Ken to Vulture to Multiplicity and so on and so on and he's just an awesome guy in general! Can't wait to see him in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and I'm pretty interested in seeing Knox Goes Away!
Keaton is the real deal. Prob not many remember his early stand up days or early movies. Super talented guy. Best Batman hands down ever.
love Michael Keaton! I actually watched 'Johnny Dangerously' again the other day 😆 and same as other people on here- forever my Batman. Also my sisters and I quote 'Multiplicity' every time we get pizza- "i like pizza.. I LIKE IT!" 🤣
Bill Blazejowski! Such a cool guy & great actor.
This needs the full video to shown with it.
great timing! for this interview
Lmao Keatons “vodvilliian”? Impression is so funny
I love Michael Keaton! ❤ Man, I need videoooooo!!!!!! 😫
Loved Night Shift!
One of my favorite actors and he looks 60 years old. Gung Ho!
Why is this guy so cool????
he's not me... so thats a good start.
Exceptional show. Thank-you.
Nightshift is still my favorite comedy of all-time.
You might want to consider getting out a bit more.
Michael ❤outstanding 😊
Our Batman. Among his many great roles I also really enjoyed The Founder.
Keaton was a great stand up. Funny in his Norm Netflix interview.
Shout out to Game 6. So glad he talked about it. That is one my favourite movies where he played the lead. Always a delight to hear Michael Keaton jam and tell stories about his awesome career.
I LOVE YOU MICHAEL KEATON!! My favorite actor of all time!!!!!! Thank you for doing this podcast!!!!❤❤❤
It's great to listen to these interviews. I so wish their recording quality was better. ❤
Delightful that Keaton’s favorite modern western is Lonely Are The Brave😃- a family favorite and Kirk’s personal pick, out of his whole canon. Lotta fun, guys, I could’ve listened for another hour.
Man what a big get! the Keaton!
Never had a better guest on this pod. Fantastic.
I love him in "the Founder" but my favorite is "the Other Guys" when he talks about his second job at Bed Bath and Beyond
"the Other Guys" was great.
Have been a huge fan of Michael Keaton for decades. Loved Dopesick. Love that he has land in Montana.Lots of land is the key to sanity.
Happiest day in a long time when it was announced that the REAL Batman would be back ❤❤❤❤❤. Love MK in everything he’s ever done
The thing about the 3 Stooges that gets me is how background characters underreact to them trying to murder each other. 'Hey you, stop hitting that guy in the head with an axe and get back to work!"
Some people are just so likable - Michael Keaton is one of them 🥰
Him in the rear view mirror, driving Peter Parker, chills!!
Such a good guy and actor. And I wish someone would compliment him publicly one day for the film My Life. For me it was such a great movie. I'm afraid it's forgotten but I hope one day it's found again and enjoyed.
Love Michael Keaton! And since he mentioned that he loves comedy......would love to see him and Melissa McCarthy together doing a comedy film!!
Another great one.
Love him in The Dream Team
A great chat and an admirable thespian, comedian and all around cool dude! Have seen Mr.Keaton in a number of sleeper films that he was always exceptional.Plays a badass like no other, think Pacific Heights the tenant from hell. Thanks gents
Always been a fan. Saw night shift! My friend and i would riff on him recording his ideas. Also thought white noise was very good ... chilling
Feed mayonnaise to the tuna fish!
He will forever be THEE Batman. I love all his movies.
Amazing episode.
you guys are all SO funny
Gen X Perfection. He could have retired after Mr. Mom and he would still be adored.
What a beauty podcast, Keaton is funny as fuck and also a hard core stone cold bad ass. Props to his community service and social responsibility, as mentioned by "Susan Frary7424" in the comments. He's in the chill club... "I know I got it, so I don't have to TRY SO HARD to impress idiots and just be real". Individuals that are exceptional, achieve a ton of success, and then have a kind, down to earth, philosophical outlook on life...that's what I like to hear! Love it!
Im here!!! yes this is the spot!
I was listening to an old episode of stern with Spade. Have you sent Artie any love lately?
Great In clean and sober. Bad A dude
I once had a job where it was known that I went to movies on my day off. One time, somebody asked me the next day what movie I had seen, and I said, "The Paper." then she said, "The Paper? What movie's that?"
I wish they went over more of his SNL sketches. Like the children’s show host with the magical house full of kidnapped people trapped in furniture.
They're takin the house!!!
And now Jason Sudeikis looks like classic Keaton
The Legendary MK 🤘🏻🔥🖤🦇🖤🔥🤘🏻
Why was this one just a screen and you couldn't see them?? Man I just LOVE MK....him with these 2 favorites of mine I wanted to see his face soooo bad!!!
"Oh, I know." said David. (Scale plus ten. )
Michael totally made that moment greatness when he participated in the Arnold- devito bit. Really sweet He’s done so much I thought multiplicity was hysterical So was beetljuice I liked how they had accomplished stars presenting awards The turn out of great artists was impressive It definitely showed more class this year Good to see DeNiro and Pacino They are true acting royalty I get the feeling Jack Nicholson is senile now Night shift was good Also remember Michael as a singer and group performer behind Mary Tyler Moore
Keaton is so funny in "The other guys"!!!
His actual name is Michael Douglas, but it was already known in Hollywood, so he changed his last name, at least for acting.
"220, 221...whatever it takes."
Nightshift and Beetlejuice. Then Batman! Great actor.
Shaving the ice lol
The movie The Blob terrorized me I worked backstage for Alotta musicians and they all had jokes about Linda Blair and crushed on her Didn't get it
The J-shot in “Jack Frost”?
Michael Keeton should Run for President Why not? ( that can be his Slogan)
Is there a place to watch the video version?
Michael Keaton IS the only Batman! 🥰
I absolutely 100% agree! The ONLY Batman!!
Why is this podcast audio only? Dana and David's comedy is so visual.
I freaking love Keats, too short!
“Don’t go chasing waterfalls.”
Love Spade's random Nova Scotia namedrop. Did he get approached for the festival here I wonder? heh
Been a fan of Keaton my entire life, it’s so funny that he is just as bad at describing the movie as he said he was gonna be
I’ve missed the last few episodes. I’ve been on the hunt for Grey POUPON.
I’m pretty sure the Diane Keaton movie is baby boom.
