Q. What kind of game is this?
A. In this game, you can peacefully live alongside mysterious creatures known as Pals or risk your life to drive off a ruthless poaching syndicate.
Pals can be used to fight, or they can be made to work on farms or factories.
You can even sell them or eat them!
Survival
In a harsh environment where food is scarce and vicious poachers roam, danger waits around every corner. To survive, you must tread carefully and make difficult choices...even if that means eating your own Pals when the time comes.
Mounts & Exploration
Pals can be mounted to traverse the land, sea and sky-allowing you to traverse all kinds of environment as you explore the world.
Building Structures
Want to build a pyramid? Put an army of Pals on the job. Don't worry; there are no labor laws for Pals.
Production
Make use of Pals and their skills to make fire, generate electricity, or mine ore so that you can live a life of comfort.
Farming
Some Pals are good at planting seeds, while others are skilled at watering or harvesting crops. Work together with your Pals to create an idyllic farmstead.
Factories & Automation
Letting Pals do the work is the key to automation. Build a factory, place a Pal in it, and they'll keep working as long as they're fed-until they're dead, that is.
Dungeon Exploration
With Pals on your side you can tackle even the most dangerous areas. When the time comes, you might have to sacrifice one to save your skin. They'll protect your life-even if it costs their own.
Breeding & Genetics
Breed a Pal and it will inherit the characteristics of its parents. Combine rare pals to create the strongest Pal of them all!
Poaching & Crime
Endangered Pals live in wildlife sanctuaries. Sneak in and capture rare Pals to get rich quick! It's not a crime if you don't get caught, after all.
Multiplayer
Multiplayer is supported, so invite a friend and go on an adventure together! And of course you can battle your friends and trade Pals, too.
In online co-op play mode, up to 4 players can play together.
Additionally, a dedicated server can allow up to 32 players to play together.

    • its not conveyor belts as they usually are, its just one machine which has belts as part of the model. no customization for it. you can make a line of pals work on the assembly line though.

    • The conveyor belts aren’t the same as in other games. It does not bring an item from point A to point B, nor can it get longer or shorter, instead it’s a long crafting station that allows up to 3 pals to craft at the same time, speeding up the crafting process considerably.

  • 19:20 I actually ruined a base this way. I put wooden floor/base partially underground, then attached another one to that piece that was fully underground. Then I realized I had to delete it... but there were already 4-5 wooden floors completely underground that, because I couldn't see, I couldn't delete... Had to move because my base had all these patches of unusable space that made placing stuff like the breeding pen completely impossible.

  • AS someone whos (unfortunately) played this game normally, the fact he reached level 46 with just the stairs thing is insane I had to quite literally fill out the paldex (whatever its called) and beat most the towers as well as ALL the bosses (except like, one) into submission 😭😭😭😭 to even get CLOSE to that level

    • OTHER PALWORLD GLITCHES: You can get underground and underwater by killing a mount with a cleaver, and remounting just after the second hit. The mount doesn't die, and sometimes if you jump in water you hit the bottom. You can build a palbox and base under the ocean, you walk on the ocean floor and other people/raids can't touch you. There's a huge square of flat trippy land under the ocean too. You can also throw your mount into a crevice, mount and unmount, and get yourself through most walls and rocks, it just takes a few tries. You can get to the surface a massive ocean under the world, and you can use it to phase out of dungeons, letting you run on top of the caves to the end where the boss is. Can't build there though. I also managed to do it in the miniboss rooms, and you end up in a giant yellow box.

    • In all fairness to pocketpair every game company copy’s designs, mechanics, ect from other games all the time. Heck a large amount of the OG Pokemon designs were copy’s of dragon quest monsters. So all in all as long as the games actually fun and the designs are just different enough to get around any CR claims, I say we enjoy it to the fullest.

  • If you gain a wanted level and draw the guards into the tower bosses, don't shoot them and just stay alive and eventually they glitch out and you can capture the boss pal along with its master. Definitely wasn't intended to happen, but you can make it work. I have all 5 defending my bases now because their HP's are huge.

  • 13:40 if you go beyond this height, about 4 times that height... You will be teleported to your base. If you fall on a flying pal using a glider, there's a chance it will yeet you across the map randomly. I know this because this game really doesn't have a good anti cheat unless you're on a dedicated server, which let's face it, just ruining the fun for yourself at that point. Also the tree is blocked by this feature plus multiple walls. I love "testing" (breaking) games. :P

  • Found a Fun bug, if you have friends, you can level up your base, equip pals to it, and then have them join your guild, reseting the level of the base and letting you relevel and equip more. I personally have 20 lamball workers on a level 6 base.

Like the little fast travel spots that are lit up red when they’re not unlocked, you can see them across the whole map. Soooo useful

  • I remember when I played it the first, I got excited because of the flamethrower thing you can get for one of those early fire pals. I quickly found this weird thing where if you activate the flamethrower and start shooting and then deactivate it, the pal has a chance to fly to space.
