subscribed. I love DID playthroughs. Good luck, hopefully there are no stray fireballs that one shot you from out of nowhere! My last DiD as a mage was a proud moment. I fell off a rock...a very short rock, lol.

Thanks :). I've had several characters die from completely random fireballs... Fall damage is no joke. Sometimes I'll scale down a mountain on a horse because I'm too impatient to go the "right way", and it's the most nerve wracking thing ever.

@@expure2475 what's your plan on mitigating magic damage and crossbow damage as a light armor user? Ive always gone mage armor or heavy armor so I'm not one shotted by a crit arrow.

@@uptoolayte1 well magic damage = MR armor + elemental resist boots + ele resist+MR potions/jewelry, along with maybe wards vs dragon's drain vitality. Archery damage is harder, but luckily with this build i have higher AR from zenithar blessing and high health from warrior stone + orc racial. Otherwise you need to play more cautiously, bait attacks, make archers run out of ammo, and/or use shields. the dodge perk is too fun to pass up, but i feel much more secure using HA

neat learning about the mods. i can finally stop playing sneak archer. looking forward to more videos. also excited about the crossbow fix... i admit i couldn't help exploiting it

Haha sneak archer is my favorite in vanilla but I don't like archery in Requiem. It doesn't make sense to me to shoot and then HAVE to reload. There's no reason why my character would just stand there lol. It's a mod I'd recommend to everyone. If you get it, make sure you get the main mod Nonexploitable crossbow reload and the fix Make Non-Exploitable Crossbow Slow Again.

@@expure2475 agreed! Any chance you could post your mod list in the description? I've tried ultimate skyrim mod list and enjoyed it...but i can't go through that install again. I just can't. two handed weapon looks like a fun play through. keep up the great work! I appreciate you explaining stuff as the video was going

Nice i play dead is dead as well. I just lost my redgaurd to a slip and fall to his death in the middle of bkeak falls barrow . Rasheed deserved better man 🥲

Elven warhammer being a different speed than steel warhammer is something I didn't know. I looked up a wiki on that and it showed all warhammers being the same speed on vanilla skyrim. Therefore is there a chart where either requiem or 3Tweaks list speed of different weapons?

Richard Kearney The 3tweaks nexus page has a link to its massive list of changes. 1 of the changes are inspired from Aztweaks, giving different weapon materials different properties. So all elven weapons are faster but weaker, and all dwarven weapons are slower but stronger. I don’t think it lists exactly how much, but you can ask on discord/nexus and I’m sure you’ll eventually get an answer

I don't understand, I started 3Tweaks too as an orc and after 2 normal attacks i'm left with 20% stamina while you do 4-5 autos and still have 60% stamina left, how? I also choose warrior stone but I went with talos instead of zenithar because I use axes.

There’s a few factors at play here. I have a tonic of stamina so I get a little stamina back every second. The stamina drain off of attacks only counts if your weapon is still swinging. So if an enemy blocks your attack and your swing animation stops, you barely lose stamina. If you attack and right after you land the damage you sheathe your weapon, you stop the animation early, and your stamina doesn’t drain nearly as much as it would have if you didn’t sheathe it. Watch my first fight again and you’ll see how often I sheathe my weapon.

Why not go with Unbound Alternate Start?

I don't like that Skyrim Unbound skips some of the main quest. I am a fan of LAL - attacked and left for dead option. I have a personal patch that changes the locations to IMO better starting locations across the wilderness. But Helgen start is fun too. I switch back and forth between LAL and vanilla often.

3Tweaks ain't Requiem at all. 31:56 ; if a point blank crossbow shot doesn't kill you at level 1 then this can't be concidered Requiem. It wasn't even half of his health what the fuck?! And with light fucking armor! And they advertise 3Tweaks like, "Do you find Requiem too easy?"

eljavidecuba i took about 1/3 health on an orc with 160 health, with 350 AR and 3+ range resist i think from stormcloak gear vs a level 7 bandit archer with a wooden crossbow and i’m assuming iron bolts. The math adds up. 3tweaks is for people who want a more balanced game suitable for DiD, some people may find it more difficult but difficulty isn’t the purpose of Requiem or 3tweaks Edit: plus 40 health from the warrior stone, which is a fair bit, maybe that can be brought down a bit. But that doesn’t change much.
