What gets me is how excited everyone got when asked. The actual dancing and cultural sharing is amazing, but that little moment of “oh someone wants to know about something that makes ME happy” is so profound and universal and personal all at once. That’s what’s really getting me every time I watch this.
Yes! I felt it but could not put it into words, but you nailed it!
Yes! Yes! YES!!! The culture sharing!! It brought tears to my eyes!! Happy happy tears! 🙏🏼Thank you so very much. ❤️
Spot on!
pretty sure he asked a lot. More than half of the people that I know would get insecure and ashamed in this kind of situation.
its edited video, you don't know how many people have rejected his proposal
its impossible to watch this and not smile, especially when he gets the seniors dancing, love it.
Smile doesn't come close, had a few tears of joy, seeing people from all cultures just sharing a universal love for dancing. As other have said - this is what society should be.
Best parts 🥹
i really enjoyed it but i didnt smile is there something wrong with me?
True
i like about him ..he learn fast & do actually as they do he can open a dance class with all these & make some money lol
He can dance. Love how everyone becomes more human when they're asked about something that means a lot to them.

ive never really liked dancing personally but the joy of sharing art and culture is tangible
It's the exact opposite of tangible. Tangible is something you can touch.
@@letztersohndesabendlandes7471 By tangible ironically enough I believe it was intended in the metaphorical sense. An oxymoron I know but think of it as for a moment the culture and art is represented by the instance of the dancers dancing. They become a temporary tangible representation of that culture. But when you stop dancing that art form stops with your movements so it's no longer tangible. Overthinking it yes but it's how I saw things

The old guys just saying rock n' roll and dancing to Elvis Presley are absolutely precious, we must protect them at all costs.
I got such joy out of this, and how willing strangers were to join. He picked up the moves so well..and the hug at the end❤
I cannot dance at all, but seeing people from different cultures young and old sharing their moves and having a good time with a stranger is so heartwarming.
My friend, everybody can dance. You can dance too, just get lost in the music. Sending love and hugs from Brasil.
I’m not a dancer, but yes. I can dance. I don’t know why, but dancing is like, “frowned on” in my religion? Now really, but I guess we just don’t dance. when someone dances, and they are in our religion, they make comments. or some sort. That influenced me :) But, In all honesty… this made me smile. The “Salsa” is my favorite. And the Siberian one. Maybe it’s just because it’s traditional? Maybe. Maybe.
sir when you hear a good song and you move your body to the music. my man that is dancing. no matter what you do when the music takes hold its a dance. it can be the most wild throwing your body around type dance or just a little tapping of the foot.
I've got four letters for you-->ABCD-any body can dance
This has to be one of the most peaceful videos on the internet involving people. Just makes me smile watching it

It just goes to show no matter where in the globe your from, music speaks all languages, no words needed, just a little bit of rhythm and a whole lot of heart.
What a person you are!! Your urge to learn the dance form of another country and how quickly you adapt that. Unimaginable.. outstanding. Keep doing this.. It brings joy to everyone. To the one who is teaching and dancing along with you and also the viewers watching the video. God bless you.

Dancing is one of those things you don't think about so much as you feel it
Those happy elderly people, combined with another love brought tears to my eyes, just beautiful
It affected me,,,I used to be able to dance with stamina and strength...I gave up and I was reminded you can still move at least some parts of your body...albeit slower. I get so jealous of folks who can do new forms I would like to try but don't dare for risk of paralysis for one (bad vertebra and ruptured discs impinging on my spinal cord but there is hope via future surgery)...but got to stop making excuses.....lots of moves I could still do if I just try. A friend still works at a local grocery store despite lots of pain and the loss of both legs and one arm. An idiot hit him in the parking lot as he was getting into his car (the sun was in his eyes and he drove on anyway and hit my friend) and damaged the shoulder of his intact arm... still he works on and gets on with his life. BTW he is the NICEST man.
The unity of this video is beyond refreshing. The vibes and moves are on 10. Thank you!
I love how everyone gets fully immersed in the dance.

5:55 Oh my goodness, she really can dance salsa! So well!
the chemistry that daces gives both of them hehe.
She was so graceful it’s amazing
That was classic salsa, but the rudimentary (Salsa from Callao) salsa its better in my opinion, you guys go to check that i think you like that type
*A woman of culture.*
Which song is that in the salsa clip?
1:54 I don't precisely know why but the combination of Another Love and those elderly ladies (and gentleman) gives me a deep feeling of nostalgia. It's like being able to see through time and get a peak of their version at different stages in their lives dancing, till this one on their "sunset boulevard". Sort of like the beginning of Up where different stages of life blend in a smooth sequence of movements. I don't know, I can see them in their younger days as they dance here - as when you saw a certain gaze in your grandparents eyes as they look at an old pic or recount certain memories they're particularly fond of. They're there, but their mind is going back to those days
Thanks for giving the name of it. I thought it was so beautiful!
very well put out
I agree with you but with no music it looks like they have lost their minds

This was so moving. I wish we put our differences aside and just enjoy the most beautiful thing that is dance. No matter where you’re from, no matter what age, music and dance is the most human thing ❤
"I can wait for another bus" That melted my heart the happiness you bring to those people's days.
That was so heartwarming - everyone was just smiling so genuinely during the dances. Especially the elderly, so great.
I've taken salsa classes and something I noticed is that its impossible to be dancing and in a bad mood. You get this window of people all in good spirits, because if they're not they would just not be dancing
@@venomtang I don't know where i heard it but have you ever heard the idiom "Judge me not for what i say or do, but how i swim and dance"? I feel i can tell more about the heart of a person based on how they enjoy dancing, than i can about someone's words or behavior towards me.
Unexpectedly wholesome feels

In a world full of hatred and anger, it's a wonderful feeling to see people who are undivided and prefer to be happy rather than to be dejected and miserable. Thanks Ed💜
Very true. This is a better option.
It's not divided, it's just the politicians and their journalists. All the people out in the street are doing fine, away from their screens.
Media wants you to think that but people interact all the time of all cultures! Don’t let them fool you!
@@heiltecn9ne Plenty of normal people out there but the OP isn’t wrong, there are a lot more divisive and just outright racist people now. I bartend at a karaoke bar in NYC and interact with tons of people on a daily basis. It’s honestly crazy how many times I’ve heard people be outwardly racist. More often than not it’s towards white people, but that shouldn’t make a difference whatsoever.
@@DarrylTalks the politicians and their journalists influence directly the "people out in the streets" As sad as it may be, not everyone out in the streets is doing fine
This might be the most wonderful, heart-lifting and wholesome video I’ve seen in a very long time. The excitement of the people who shared their dancing and their culture was palpable. Oh how I wished everyone was so open and engaged without prejudice - the world would definitely be a different and much better place.
