To be completely fair, sharks rarely ever attack humans since they are not a part of their normal diet. It still happens and I’m not saying that it’s a great idea to go diving in shark infested waters but we’ll probably be safe lol

Felt like these updates need to be in the game day one. Base ACNH is a bit shallow. I'm glad they're adding content, but the time to add more content feels too long and in between. That's my criticism. Otherwise, I'll be looking forward to this update.

Yay! My little cousin about 4 years old plays animal crossing with me and when they tried to swim in the ocean they asked me why it's not possible and i said "they haven't added it in the game yet" and then she got sad. Since my cousin is going to be with me and my family for another 1, 1/2 weeks she will be able to see the ocean update, tysm😊! Seeing this made my day

I always thought “they’ve put too many detailed rock formations under the ocean for a game where you don’t dive in it”. Everything makes so much sense now.
The last AC before this one has this feature so actually its already a given that an update will be coming.
@@ecmyk7863 Nothing's really a "given" with game development, honestly. Many games, even from Nintendo, that have had features in previous titles don't have them in future releases. Ever. Not a great example since Nintendo's only a third of the ownership, but Pokemon often has features removed in later titles much to the chagrin of fans. I've given up on that series and it's depressing.
@@Lucifronz I think what they're doing with Animal Crossing is to reduce labor on the workers. Since it's very labor intensive. Same thing they're gonna do with GTA 6 supposedly
@@dvchaz01 Well the game was delayed to reduce crunch, at least according to Nintendo. I have always believed the reason holidays were being released over time was a way for them to further reduce crunch rather than being a way to prevent time travel and spoiling those holidays ahead of time (that's just a benefit for the developers who desperately want people to play the way they say). So I fully believe they'll implement many more things missing from the older games in updates. But nothing is a given, like I said. There may be, at minimum, a piece of furniture or villager or feature that someone liked that isn't going to make it into the game. That's alright, I understand, changes happen and other things take priority if they hold more appeal, but I hope we get back some fan-favorite content and other cool stuff like the Sanrio characters.
