tbf if someone ran at you with a big bulky sword like it was nothing it would be scary
I mean the moment zack sets foot on midgar troopers already are aware of him just from looking at the sword, while in og timeline cloud walks with it in shinra hq, cities and nobody bats an eye, and from what i remember vii starts some months after cc. So people should still remember the 1st that took down other two 1st, stopped wutai, killed a batalion in a last stand that carried said sword. Its not like it as mass produced.
Considering that the wielders were some really talented SOLDIERs it makes sense.
It was probably already known mostly because of Angeal using it to fight Genesis and Sephiroth right above their fucking heads 3 years prior 😂
Its pretty dope how they made Zack fight a bit differently from Cloud. Using some hand-to-hand combat alongside his sword. Also the way he just throws that concrete hammer was baller as fuck. I know its a minor thing but I love that Excavator with the Mecha hand is both dumb and dope at the same time.

Except for 1 thing. Ff7 takes place at least a month after cloud manages to make it to Midgard. This indicates that the events of ff7 happened with cloud, and then zack entered the city and cloud disappeared
In this timeline, they lost because Cloud was still with Zack. He was not there to stop Sephiroth and Midgar was destroyed because of it.
Tifa, Barrett, Biggs, Wedge, Jesse & Aerith weren't enough to survive those events. They needed Cloud, but since Zack never died, Cloud didn't suffer through the trauma needed to overcome the mako poisoning and adopt his mentors identity.
So in every timeline one thing is certain They need cloud @@MalosiVA

he learned from angeal, fought genesis and sephiroth his swormanship is unique, cloud style i thinks its a blend of zack´s and sephiroth
Cloud uses more Swordplay than Zack, Zack literally hits with his fist and Sword. Cloud also feels better to use than Zack. I mean Cloud is the most fun character to play as in this game. He just has too many fun mechanics.
@@ldarkllrevanl181 zack also had a lot more practice with the BB clouds moveset is actually improving nicely between part 1 and 2, i expect in 3 to be similar to AC and sephis style.

I don’t see people talking about how there’s 2 clouds in one timeline now. Zack doesn’t know that there is 2 but we do and I hope Zack or our cloud has to sadly deal with it cause hojo was experimenting on him again

We've kinda known this since remake part 1
It’s time displacement and split in half. Zack was supposed to be dead for about a month before tifa found cloud and brought him to barret. Zack Biggs and coma cloud were spared and brought to the “present”. So now there’s 2 clouds in one timeline and then there’s the “main” timeline where we play.
OMG WHAT IF CLOUD AT THE END OF REMAKE 1 WHEN HE FOUGHT SEPHIROPH AT WORLD END OR WHATEVER SOMEHOW LEFT THIS TIMELINE WE SEE NOW?! He’s venturing with a different group in a different timeline now?!

My main question is: That Cloud is with Zack, What Cloud is it? Cloud from Zack’s time or from Tifa, Barret, Aeris and Red XIII’s time ? Because is confuse 😂
This is basically timeline 2, where it's a what-if the main gang died from the last battle at the bridge with sephiroth from Remake and Zack ending up at that timeline.
There’s 3 clouds. Mako poisoned cloud with Zack. A cloud that was taken by shinra with Tifa and Barret. And the cloud we play as. Poisoned Cloud and taken cloud are in a different timeline than the “main” cloud.
Finally the MAIN HERO is back
So unless Zack dies, Cloud doesn't get the trauma needed to overcome the mako poisoning? That's a shame, looks like Avalanche really DID need Cloud. RIP Tifa, Barrett, Wedge, Biggs (Yes, him too), Jesse & Red XIII
I think Tifa and Barret are still alive but probably ended up in Shinra's HQ. And who knows what Shinra might have done to them😶🌫️

Can anyone clarify if Zack uses the back of the blade? I cant figure it out his combat movements confusing.
Zack tries to use the back of the blade or otherwise known as the "BLUNT SIDE" of the sword that's not sharp to prevent damaging the actual blade and rusting the blade. When Angeal was alive he barely saw Angeal use the sword and Angeal carries the sword with the blade facing downwards so when he draws the sword in battle he can deflect attacks using the blunt side first before using the blade OR otherwise using the sword as a defense like a shield and smashing things or enemies protection using the blunt side. Angeal would also carry a standard issued Type 99 Long sword or another name for it "Alan Sword" Since the Alan Sword was easy to produce and make if Angeal's longsword breaks he can switch to the buster sword as a last resort and when he returns back from a mission he can go and get another Alan Sword. Since Zack barely seen Angeal use the sword Zack has trouble using the sword because of it's size and weight. In the Final Fantasy 7 LAST ORDER short anime Zack can be seen having trouble using the sword while fighting Sephiroth. Zack actually had to spend 2 training with the buster sword and get use to the sword and create his own combat style. This is the time skip in Crisis Core/REUNION after Angeal's death Zack uses the blunt side as a defense and he uses it for smashing enemies and smashing things also like Angeal but since Zack spent more time learning how to use and control the buster sword his combat abilities and movement control are better than Angeal's combat. Meanwhile Cloud uses the buster sword just like a normal sword and swings it until his enemy is dead or defeated plus he carries the blade facing upwards since he doesn't know the history behind the sword and how precious the sword is.
So I forgot to mention that Zack's actually great at hand to hand combat 😐 Dude punched a Shinra Troop and broke the troop's helmet into pieces as well as the trooper's teeth and this can be seen in the FF7 LAST ORDER short anime as Zack was being cornered by Shinra Troops. And not to forget also, Zack doesn't only use the sword as a shield to protect him but also he also uses the sword to shield Cloud as Zack moves around and dodges gunshots knowing that the Shinra Troops' have bad aim and their bullets will go straight towards Cloud 80% of the time. This can also be seen in the LAST ORDER anime as Zack just does constant backflips and dodges every bullet flying towards him. One thing we haven't seen or known is that Zack is fighting with the buster sword as well as slowing down in combat for a second to charge up a punch then a kick then charges up his strength when he stops for another second then swings the sword twice like how we see in Rebirth here. The buster sword weighs 15.9 pounds. Pretty light sword but not as light at the same. Cloud can be seen swinging the sword with all his strength as he has to move his entire body just to swing the sword in both REMAKE and REBIRTH. Comparing Zack to Cloud, Zack beats Cloud if they went head on - one on one combat both welding the buster sword. Now if Cloud is welding the Fusion Sword from Advent Children the movie Cloud beats Zack by at least 50% as by the time where the Advent Children event happens Cloud already developed a ton of skills more than Zack. Remember that Zack had to spend 2 years developing his own combat style and he also spent a year on mental health and depression after Angeal's death, then after 2 years the Niblehiem incident happened where Zack and Cloud stopped Sephiroth but at the same time Zack and Cloud were both thrown into the mako containers that caused Cloud to be in a coma and Zack had to carry him around for about 8 to 10 months. During these long months Zack was limited to what he can do with his sword, mainly he used it as a shield to protect Cloud by setting Cloud down on the ground and Zack plunges the sword into the ground to make a shield that would stand then Zack goes into hand to hand combat. Cloud on the other he uses the buster sword and as he collects other swords to use he develops new combat style going from fast and speedy combat style to slow and powerful charging attacks plus magical attacks that can fuse into his swords' and send it towards enemies. In Advent Children instead of using the buster sword and other swords he collected during the FF7 events, Cloud would build his own sword and that is the Fusion sword that are and can split into 6 pieces with one of the pieces being the main body for all the pieces to fit into one sword to look like the buster sword but more modern and advanced. For people who don't know why Cloud doesn't use the buster sword in Advent Children, the reason is due to Cloud failing to keep Zack's promise, and this is canon to the original game and original storyline. Cloud fails to keep Zack's promise and he also fails to keep Aerith safe. And by this time Zack also destroyed the buster sword by chipping parts of the blade off and rusting the blade and the entire sword from the handle all the way down to the top of the sword, so what Cloud did is he took the sword to the top of the cliff where Zack died and he plunges the sword into the ground as a honor and to represent the sword as Zack's grave. By the end of Advent Children Cloud replaced the buster sword's blade, repainted and washed the rusted off of the sword ENTIRELY and he plunges the sword or sets the sword at the church where Aerith always hangs out to represent and symbolize as Zack and Aerith are now happily together as one and Angeal's probably there with Zack and Aerith too. The sword does belong to Angeal so 🫤
This zack scene is prettty much a What if. meaning i doubt cloud in the main game will not be running into a Zack. i mean the game opens up with avalanch pretty much looking to be dead except red who helps brings down the plane and seems to die doing so. so there isnt gonna be 2 of every main character. idk why they did this what if universe thingy. just got done beating the tutorial of teh game wheer is what u see in the demo. maybe zack will be sent to clouds universe who knows but it seems liek zack's what if universe killed off cloud's team seems like what if cloud was not working for avalanch and it seems they get captured or killed i mean teh scene wheer u see tifa on a stretcher wheer her hand falls limp off teh stretcher proves they are dead maybe. i mean teh whole aerith scene where her ribbon and materia falling shows that she died
I think it was confirmed that Tifa and Barret are still alive but in comatose. However, Shinra took them to their HQ so they are either in prison or being experimented on

No, this will be included and playable even with the demo part skips, it’ll skip the Nibelheim section part which opens up after this opening part and will likely give access to skip if played when ran the data. The grasslands section is next afterwards which is new and the beginning of world roam, and I believe the Junon section later down after that will be either non-skippable or skippable to after the battle with the sea serpent boss at the end of the demo with saved items and world pick ups more than likely.

@niel game's still available on steam, god forbid you go back and play it, let us have this work of art, you can still have your 25 year old original game, it's still there, intact, as-is you can even mod the shit out of it to give it fabulous HD graphics since that's the only thing you fucking wanted, it's all available and easily downloaded hell there's even a mod that adds full voiceovers to the entire game

It's is me or it's is confusing ANSWER COMMENT
The scene in the beginning seems to be an alternate timeline, in which Zack actually survives, but apparently took much longer to reach Midgar because he's wounded and having to carry Cloud all the way through. As a result, things happened differently in this timeline, with Aerith dies prematurely etc. Near the end, the scene then switch back to the timeline where Zack dies, and Cloud went to Midgard alone while carrying Zack's buster sword. Continuing from where we left off in the previous game.
2 worlds, 1 is the one we saw in ff7 remake and will continue from where it was left off, the other was changed by the battle against numen so that zack did not die, but, our team was knocke dout by the tornado of buildings swept around by the numen in both worlds at the same time. aerith, we dont know with certainty if shes alive or not in zack world.

In FF7 a large chunk of the plot is you are a band of eco-terrorists trying to stop a fascist mega-corporation from sucking the lifeblood out of the planet itself to sate their greed man, it's a good thing games back then weren't political at all amirite
I believe, this is similar story final fantasy 2 soul of rebirth but more like reimagine from the past and illusion
