  • I also felt like that movie could have gone really dark at some points but the character of maddy was written in a way that he was beyond the urges of money and lust and all material things. He also mentions it in the movie so yeah that justifies the action.

    • I think i feel where you're coming from, the point when jyotika walks down the stairs, with a blank look on her face as her daughters keeps dancing, at one point i thought she'd undress herself & offer herself to him like take me & leave my daughter, that would've been really dark as her daughter was right there, tho she knows what's happening but she can't utter a single word !
