If Liverpool manages to win the league this year, it will be a good time for everyone to transition and look towards the future. The outcome will heavily depend on the new coach. I don't think it's a major concern if he decides to leave. While he still has a few good years left, it's inevitable for top teams to lose their star players at some point. Hopefully, we can replace them effectively and move forward. One thing I admire about Pep is that he doesn't rely too heavily on a single player and constantly refreshes his team. Hopefully, the new coach will adopt a similar approach.

Bosman ruling states players can sign pre contracts in the last 6 months of the existing contract, and the interested party also has to inform the players current club. If this is not done, both party’s are liable to get sanctions and the contract is completely invalid. By all means report what’s been said but give balanced and responsible information. I believe he may leave at the end of the season for a fee. But not this way as it’s impossible to do without a breach of contract and legal troubles. Why do that? Why get banned from playing?
