1:54 if you pause at the right time you will see a message that says “golden path” I think it will have to do with the “Hour of Joy” and could possibly mean something that relates to the Smiling Critters. I think we’ll see more of the dog critter tbh. It seems the more likely option considering the dog critter is kinda golden path
so, this is also my theory but, I also think "golden path" and "Hour of joy" are connected. so I think it means "the golden path to the hour of joy" and I think this has something to do with both the prototype and the smiling critters. As if they're... Connected some how... (just my theory!)

In fact. He came like he was left somewhere. Or they didnt call him. Maybe they dont really like him because he looks creepy, always smiling and dont even talk. And critters was so glad to see him because he could make them sleep, and they was need it. But CatNap came not to help, but punish them. He was sitting on a sofa in the end like he was enjoyed his act. Yes he didnt laught or something, but im sure he liked it.

So, I believe CatNap will be the leader of the Smiling Critters, because in this teaser, every character begged CatNap to red gas them. Almost, like a religious cult. The Smiling Critters being the cult, and CatNap being the god. Idk, I've been through conspiracy theories. And since CatNap has became a rejected toy, he will still control the Little Critters characters, and try to use them to kill us, the player, in Chapter 3. I think this would happen, but its just my concept to what would happen in Chapter 3.

What I'm getting from this is based on the other trailer cat nap at some point it went completely off the deep end and became a fanatical zealot of the prototype sort of like father whales from bioshock 2. The other smiling critters are very likely under his control but not of their own free will. The poppy gas is a pretty strong indicator of this because poppy plants are a major component of two serious drugs opium and heroin. And the gas itself seems to have an effect Similar to both, delirious addiction and strong craving followed by intense aggressive euphoria which are all the symptoms of heroin. Followed by a complete sudden loss of all energy and induction of complacency like what you see with opium.

That’s a great Idea also WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT EPISODE?!
Maybe the picture with CapNap is actually sooner than the picture without him (not shown to us sooner, but sooner in the timeline of the Poppy Playtime universe), and when it wasn't going to be long before the orphans became a toy, this episode was shown to them minutes before a CatNap toy (one with a Poppy Gas sprayer that wasn't given to the public, only to the orphans) sprayed gas, which put the kids to "sleep", but not death. They were unconscious, and that gave the employees time to make a living toy out of them. If that is the case, I think that cartoon episode was only shown to the orphans and never to the public, making it so parents couldn't sue the company. If it were released to the public, I'm pretty sure people would stop buying the toys from Playtime Co. And here is a side note: Real-life Poppies contain Opium, a highly addictive substance used in opioids. They are often harvested when the Poppies are buds, and they are useful for putting people in a medically-induced coma, but opioids are also highly addictive drugs, and overdoses are common especially against teens, so this episode actually sorta makes sense.

@@goteamslugs Hello good old friend. I should also mention that CatNap is such a good name for this toy in this case. CatNap kind of sounds like Cat Nip, which is irresistible to cats. The gas Cat Nap breathed out was highly addictive and irresistible to the rest of the Smiling Critters. And the "Nap" part plays a role too, as optimum from Poppies is used to put people in a medically induced coma, or an accidental one if it was used one too many times as a recreational drug. That's why "CatNap" is an S-tier name, at least to me.

This is like a cartoon show but a lost episode
My interpretation of this, is that its NOT a show that was broadcast on TV. Rather, it was a 'propaganda' video (for lack of a better term) to try and convince their victims that the purple cat wasn't something to be afraid of. Essentially, it was an attempt at brainwashing.
Probably . .
Someone had a theory that each of the critters had some form of usage for helping kids improve in certain ways. For example, catnaps poppy gas helps kids go to sleep and dogday helps kids to wake up maybe with some form of smelling salts this could also apply to the others with the bunny providing some form of energy boost to kids somehow and the unicorn improving the kids creative side of themselves. Sounds like a stretch but I could see that. So this wouldn't be a TV show persay but more of a commercial to get parents to buy these plushies for their kids to help them improve in certain ways.
So that why CatNap is gonna be a main monster in Chapter 3. Oh ho man this gonna be good!
My idea is, in the ARG, the folder named "1006" the kid in one of the pictures, Theo. You should notice he's drawn in purple. Who else is purple? That's right. Catnap. The antagonist. So my theory is, The was the kid who was tested on for the Bigger bodies initiative version of CatNap

I don't think the green bunny electrocuted theo. He was messing around with the green hand for the grab pack and got electrocuted when trying to connect a current with the green hand which is what electrocuted him. Must've been an imaginary voice telling theo to do all that or something. I do believe it is very possible for theo to be catnap though due to him being coloured purple In the drawing which obviously matched with catnap

I just realized TC is Thomas Clark (i think Clark is his last name I forgot the video) but there was an official video on the mob entertainment channel that showed Thomas Clark was the one who got turned into bron (the dinosaur character)
i think the use of the red gas mask is to avoid the red gas that will be released from catnap's mouth

CatNap had that name, Because on the necklace part he has, It is a moon which a sign of night which is about sleeping, And he had that name because he is a cat and he makes everyone nap. There is a sleeping drug in that gas which makes everyone crazy and being like a psycho. After that their white pupils disappear which means they died or they slept. Their bodies are like flat balloons, which if they have no air inside they would be flat. They look like suits too if they are dead or they removed the skin. And the dog had a blanket which CatNap added, The dog was the owner of the house and they made a sleepover. i think CapNap visits every night in a sleepover to drug them.
Fun fact:pickypiggy might be the prototype cause in the trailer the prototype has like kinda pig ears so it could be the prototype

I don't think that's actually the prototype. It doesn't look like a functional body. It just has a bunch of poles and dead bodies sticking out of it everywhere. I think it's just some sort of monument or shrine that Catnap built to honor 1006. He's clearly lost his mind...

Catnaps name is really suspicious and fits the horror video. he put the critters to "nap" as they lay there lifeless in the floorafter he injected then with some gas that is probably venomous and poisonous. Causing them to go crazy and die of laughter.

After negative feedback from parents who watched the VHS ad, Catnap was taken down from the plush toy ads and the BBI (Bigger Bodies Initiative) experiment himself has been reduced to an orphanage worker, taking care of orphan kids in the shadows instead of limelight, no longer a star for the Smiling Critters Most likely Catnap out of jealousy to his fellow SCs and the “humiliation” he felt from being demoted, went on a rampage and killed his fellow Smiling Critters and the kids he’s supposed to look after, my theory is that only DogDay survived and will help the protagonist but will also get himself killed by Catnap in the middle or end of the chapter
PS If it’s not Dogday, there will be at least one BBI Smiling Critter survivor who will help the player like Kissy Missy did in Chapter 2, but unlike Kissy Missy who lived to see another day this Smiling Critter helper won’t

I didnt know why or how it got a name already sinxe everyone been saying his name in other videos. Wasnt till i saw this video i noticed it has some of the voice actors name for them.
