If Leigh said what the screenshots said then she is wrong, but Nicki was still wrong. She could've handled it a little better than she did. After the girls took up for her when her and Cardi were at each other's throats. I hardly think it's fair to talk about Leigh in that manner and Jesy(if she loves the girls so much) should have stuck up for Leighann because it wasn't right for Nicki to talk about her like that. It had nothing to do with Nicki true and I understand Nicki was trying to take up for a chum, but she still could've handled it differently as I said.

I think she meant she loved being in the group with the girls because they were so close but the experience all together was hard for her and it obviously made her sad.

People have to accept that it was unintentional and that she will learn, grow, and be accountable. If you want Jesy to apologize you have to give her room to be accountable and not let anyone endlessly twist her words.

They have not been communicating. That is for sure. They address the blackfishing allegations but they did not directly accuse Jesy of it. I don't think they are holding it against her but they do indicate that she should not intentionally do it and should be accountable. If Jesy had not disassociated so much from them, I think this would have been handled better.

well in friendship you have your own rules, being homophobic, racist, black fishing, and doing other morally wrong things just isn't okay under any circumstance and I'm glad those three kicked her off, and I think this can make them stronger by getting rid of that toxicity and it's sad bc some people think those things are okay and encourage it but I'm glad the other member didn't. No one is perfect and accepting those things would be horrible.

Literally the only thing people are talking about is the drama, not the actual song. The song wasn't great, and considering Jesy actually has a really great, unique voice, it didn't highlight her. She was also overshadowed by Nicki and all the drama surrounding her atm. Weird choice for a debut single as a solo artist. I do genuinely hope whatever she drops next is good because I love her voice, but my hopes dropped after boyz

Well I read a comment about how her time in Little Mix with the girls, and the concerts, etc. was the best, but all the trolling and all the hate was the worst. Like I get it, but she has been very contradictory lately and I personally don’t know if I should believe her. And the situation with Nicki is just so maddening. 10 years of friendship THROWN away. On the IG live Nicki said that the “blackfish” thing was never brought up to Jesy, BUT in quite a few interviews Jesy said that while Little Mix were shooting the “Sweet Melody” video it was actually brought up to her. So she obviously lied. Why she’s acting that way? I have absolutely no clue. Anyway, she’s become quite backstabbing since she left LM and I don’t really wanna support her anymore until she apologizes for her actions.

It's superlatively sad what has been happening to them. They were almost sisters and now there's a dark cloud overhead 'em telling 'em they should hate one another. It saddens me and also maddens me that I'm unable to do anything - I hope everything's finna be okay to all of 'em.
The question for me is why didn't Jesy listen? Did the Boyz video with a holiday natural tan plus added on to it (yes she said she did add but we've all seen Jesy natural tan). Then her Capitol FM interview JUST RIDICULOUS! Thankfully she toned it down a bit on her Graham Norton performance. She learned the hard way, rather than take on what her group sisters warned her about!
I don't think her takeaway from the conversation was "don't tan". What do you mean by seen her natural tan? Most likely, Jesy and her production team overlooked some problems she would have trying to release the music video. No two people have the same lines on what is cultural appreciation and cultural appropriation. Most likely, she and her production team unintentionally toned her darker than Nicki without thinking too much and that's what sparked the accusations.

‘Blackfishing is when non blacks emulate the appearance of Black or mixed people ie extreme fake tan, lip fillers, hair, accents etc. It’s a form of cultural appropriation and it’s disrespectful. They do it to black people because they don’t respect us or our experiences, kinda like how they teach us to hate our features, only to then run to a surgeon to imitate them. They emulate us in order to profit and benefit from society. They also blackfish and appropriate us because black people have no self respect, once again as a result of conditioning by them which started during slavery, so we allow them to take the piss out of us and mimic us and profit from our culture because they taught us to hate ourselves even more than they hate us 🤷🏾♀️ but most people aren’t ready for that conversation. I'm a black woman but I feel sometimes, black women are doing too much! I don't support Nicki jumping in on the situation but a lot of black women do a lot to look who they are not. We wear wigs, bleach our skin etc.....we literally do a lot but no one comes at us. The hypocrisy is too much!!!

so Jesy was basically like "ya'll shouldve spoke up a long time ago. Why yall didn't say anything before until now?" And it's like with leighAnne getting back in touch with her roots and full accepting her blackness and the dangers and harm that a lot of ppl put on her for literally being the only black woman in the group. White women you can use your tan but the issue is that when people use it to such a level and extent that you wish and desire to appear ethnically ambiguous and that is what a lot of these women like to do whether it's Black fishing or brown fishing where you appear to look middle eastern and Asian,Latin in your kind of physical phenotype and features you're changing that and you're benefiting and using the environments to open these gates and doors for you and cause a conversation for your feature look pretty in some kind of way but you then can wash that off go back to your white skin and go to sleep, whereas brown and black girls, brown and black guys are continuously targeted from the racial systems.
