I really loved the gimmick of "no character is safe, anyone could die at any time." It was really fresh and made the movie more intriguing!
Actually, Will Evans was mainly introduced so they could bring back Deadshot's backstory from the older universe. In the New 52, they created a new backstory for Deadshot where his family were killed by bullets that passed through the walls of their house because of some nearby violence and this is what inspired Floyd Lawton to never waste a bullet. Later they wanted to retcon this, but they actually did it in a pretty clever way by revealing that it was actually Will's backstory and that he told Floyd it while they were both in prison. Floyd then adopted the backstory as part of his mystique, since he didn't want to reveal too much about his actual history and family.
I don't know why, but I've honestly always liked the original Clock King. The design he only got for that single issue of Suicide Squad was really cool to me, and I really want to see a version of William Tockman meeting that style return as a Green Arrow villain.

Grant Morrison as a character inside a story they didn't write seems like the kind of hilarious nonsense I'd love to see in another James Gunn Suicide Squad movie.

Scream Queen was killed because she killed the target that Waller wanted to be brought back alive. Scream Queen ignored orders because their target was responsible for the death of her lover, Shimmer. So it wasn't for no reason, it was for disobeying her commands and costing the mission.
I love how Future Drake came in with a comically tiny mug as opposed to Present Drake's comically large mug.
Speaking of Savant, I had someone tell me and oversell how important he was. Like going in about how he's so smart and clever, a popular Birds of Prey character, and is prominently known for being gay, so Gunn wouldn't kill him off in the first wave... I had to tell him, that using your common sense will tell you he's not that important for the movie, and that he won't deactivate the bomb in his head, or get help from his boyfriend, who we've never met, so he can join the Batgirl movie or something. He said "Wait, and see"...
I would say 5 c list villains being sacrificed to get talon, is actually worth it, after all talon is a beast
At this point, Drake, you should make your own custom merch ‘Drake Mug.’ You use so many mugs in all of your videos, you might as well capitalize on that motif.

I liked Daniel West as Reverse Flash and while I'm not a fan of character deaths I do think his death was a good part of his arc. I would love to see them do more with him tbh.
