  • I ended up getting the Tough Armor case for the extra camera protection. I like that it has shock absorbing pads on the inside of the case. Was nice they added a kickstand...

  • i use zero one nowdays..looks really good and feels nice.. but for protection i prefer my touch armor or my uag monarch more. cryo is also nice but its slipery like it is on my s22 ultra

  • I really like about spigen that they still stayed at a resonable price after Rhinoshield,Otterbox etc. Showed up. I used them since i own a Smartphone one time at the S8 i didnt used one and got an instant Karma spider App xD At the S23 Ultra i now went with the rugged armor the though armor at my s21+ was me to thick and unhandy but it really did its job i droped my Phone a lot was absolutly worth its 20 bucks.

  • Nice review. They also sell a Spigen onetap magsafe adapter that you can stick onto any case to add magsafe. I put one on the Zero One case and it looks sick and functions just like magsafe.

    • @@TheJabberTech It's very close but the ring adapter is a little bigger. I could have gotten mine closer to the size of the graphic, but moved it down slightly so the Anker magsafe battery didn't obstruct the very bottom camera.

  • Spigen has what they call Sound Tunnel on their cases. It protects your speaker grill and also hides it so you never see the dust collecting. Makes the screen look clean all the time.

  • Awesome review. I wouldn't say a hardcase is better at drop protection. It's actually the opposite, the soft outer case will soften the force on impacts. (impulse = change in momentum = Delta T * Force. Since momentum change is the same, in a drop, a softer case will lengthen the delta T, therefore decrease the Force, lessen the damage. This is the same principle in airbags.)

    • @@TheJabberTech A hard case will protect against piercing force. But a phone never encounter anything require that much protection from just a waist height drop. Think of the soft tpu case like a bubble wrap/airbag/pillow. (I'm a mech engineer)

  • Does the magsafe ring has magnets? or is it just a metallic ring that sticks to magnets? I cannot find any info about it, i kinda want it only if it has magnets, otherwise it doesn't make much sense to me.

  • I had S8 spigen with kickstand case. And it never let me down because I have 11 months old bady mistakes hand. I drop my S8 spigen case so much but result is never damaged not even screen. So after having long over due S8 usage my family changed to Flip5 and got spigen case. Thank U pride of KOREA 🇰🇷 for keeping my S8 alive. And for hope you keep safe Flip5 .

  • I can say from my personal experience that the Neo Hybrid is an amazing case. I've had it for my s8, s10, and s21 and I usually keep my phones for 2 years and then replace them once my contract end. I gotta say, my phones still look like new after 2 years of accidentally dropping it. Great Case :)

  • I've been using the same though armour cover with my S10 for more than three years, coupled with a glastyr platinum glass protection. Lemme tell you, this cover has saved my phone many times more than you can imagine. I'm waiting for my new s23 ultra to be delivered, and I couldn't help but adding a tough armour cover to the cart! It surely isn't the slimmest of the covers, but I trust its sturdiness and the little kickstand is something I use every day!

  • I'm using the Slim Armour..not the CS version.. the normal version which is same as the cs but in place of the cardholder, u get a. Kickstand...i think that's thy best case..thin Armour protection with a kickstand

  • The second case that is a little harder than the harder case does not provide any camera protection if you look closely so far the first one is the best one out of the first two as it protects more of the phone including the entire camera system. First one, air phone case is the best one so far as I've used them and have never had a broken phone ever, knock on wood as I just did, since cell phones have come out. Not finished and flexible and full protection for camera has always been the best phone protectors. Just because of the S series has an S pen doesn't Make it a Samsung Galaxy Note.

    • Straight to a point, better ones are towards the end of the video of course. Awesome phone cases and thank you very much but I'm trying to hold off for the Samsung Galaxy s22 ultra as it will have a way better processor much better camera and many more advancements made, check out the s24 ultra and you just might hold off and wait till that one comes out to purchase it before it purchasing the s23 ultra as the camera has not been updated with any viewable advancements from the s22 ultra. Basically last year's model is the same as this year's model. Bring back the Galaxy Note series as that was Samsung's best made phones.

    • i use uag monarch with kevlar black/red its really nice and have a really nice grip!!! i got the same case on s22 ultra also but there is no grip there. also i find it more difficult to remove the s23 ultra from the uag monarch

  • I have the cryo armor, but my s23 ultra is still nowhere in sight. It is cool at the touch though, knowing that there's graphite to help with the cooling. Can't wait to get mine

    • @@Idontuseyoutube It's very good! Sadly, my screen protector isn't really cut out for the Cryo Armor. I installed the Ringke Privacy Dual Easy Wing, but both bottom corner aren't fitted correctly and they kept on peeling. I had to make a decision, either I remove the protector and go bare or use the included Silicon Grip Case from Samsung. I opted for the latter -- I wanna keep the privacy filter but will check again in a few weeks if I wanna go through with the Cryo Armor. That's one thing you must consider before buying it, make sure you have a compatible screen protector! I'll try to look for a Spigen one so I can use the Cryo Armor.

    • @@ronandaj and what about exposed lenses? This is the only thing that making me stop to got for Cyro. They should've cutout the lenses instead of leaving a big ass box cut.

    • @whiterose5083 the included samsung case im using now has the lenses cut out from it, which is good. Same with you, they should've done that instead of having a big hole at the back. The lenses are inside that big cutout though so they are protected just in case.

  • I have the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Designed clear with black borders , got it because i ordered a custom design from mightyskins . I would've liked if spigen made it clear black borders with magsafe magnet that would've been 🔥

  • I don't think the camera cover has anything to do with privacy, is just protecting the glass. If you drop the phone something can hit the cameras. Is pointless to have the cameras exposed all the time if you are not using them. Plus adding glass protectors to the lenses is not good
