Seriously there is no better feeling than watching people just light up and smile from ear to ear showing off there hobby/collection and talking about it. It’s so refreshing to just see good people enjoy our hobby as much as they do. This gentleman has a great collection and his joy is infectious! Great video.
very true ;) I have the same feeling
😃✨
You really do find the most beautiful souls Nick. These tours emanate passion, nature and wisdom 🩵 calming. The world needs more of this. Thank you for what you do 🐟
who watched all the way through --->
I Love being endlessly inspired for my own tank design, stocking, philosophy, etc.
It was such a beautiful video. I love that guy's relaxed Style and he's just got such an eye for beauty
You best believe I did
me too. Love his style ❤
Loved it. ❤
6:02 by the way, the common name is ’arrowhead plant’ or ‘arrowhead vine’, better known as _Syngonium podophyllum_ - I think that one shown is the most common cultivar ‘White Butterfly’
Well thank Tony for allowing us to visit his fish room! What an awesome experience. He's the kind of guy I'd love to have as a neighbor. Thanks Nick. Thanks Harlan.
You can tell this guy has a big heart he sounds like a very, very sweet man. I bet he took great care of his kids . having depression, myself, and taking care of Shrimp seems so much more rewarding when they breed which I’ve become obsessed with for some odd reason. This is a very wonderful nice relaxing video. Great job keep it up. I love your video.
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart Jeremiah 29:13 :)
😃✨
Tony is a absolute legend! We both ordered fish from Melbourne but I got stuck at work due to a covid lock down. Tony looked after mine until I could make it back there to pick them up. Didn't ask for anything in return although I did offer to pay him. Thanks again Tony if you happen to read this 🙂
Camera person did a great job keeping the Bug Buffet in frame.
I want some but I live in the US (Tennessee)
"This is not an ad"
@@Maxime-ho9iv All of his vids are infomercials
Hello person watching rn!
that row of mini betta aquariums is adorableee
Amazing tour!! Cheers and beers from Romania!!🇷🇴 ❤ 🇦🇺
Not 100% sure, but I believe that plant is hygrophila corymbosa or another type of hygrophila.
I play these videos while I'm working out or relaxing! 😎
He's really enjoying the man cave fishroom. Love the plants
Another wonderful video Nick! This tour was phenomenal! 👏
Absolutely Beautiful Fish Room! Great tour, stunning!
Love the long videos, can not get enough. I enjoy watching what the old timers are doing. Great video.
This guy is so genuine and open an down-to-earth about his collection, I really love that.
45 years years is crazy good for him.
You ask great open questions. Good interview technique
LOVE these tours man!
This is a really beautifully told story. Great editing.
I absolutely LOVE the people you interview!
Another awesome video! Love the long fish room tours. So well edited also. Keep it up dude! 🤙
That plant you guys really liked is Hygrophila corymbosa, grows super easy and really quickly. Easier then any stems I've kept even
My first thought was a Hygrophila also i have sunset and it looks almost identical minus the pink hue's but i didnt see it from the top so could have had a bit of colour also.
Yes. With moderate light (like here), they etiolate and lose their lower leaves, looking like little palm trees. With higher lighting, the internodes get shorter and try he leaves are denser. They look like little amazon swords.
I saw them and thought Blue Stricta but scanned through the comments to see what others would suggest - thanks for the Latin name for Blue Stricta!
Oh i thought that was the polysperma as corymbosa has slightly larger leaves. But i might be wrong.
Totally not fish related but wanted to say it's nice to see you guys in the southern hemisphere in your shorts clearly enjoying the start of your summer just as I woke up today with our first light frost of the year. Keep up the great work, this was a really awesome tour, a really nice setup all-round.
Great tour. Tony has a unique style of aquascaping that must be influenced by his landscaping work; it's very rock forward as apposed to a plant/driftwood focus. His choice of plants compliments the rockwork very well. It has a real Australian essence to it... watch out for Aussie style in the next IAPLC!
Great tour. Love your videos and all the lovely people you visit. Thank you for producing great stuff mate.
Your videos always bring a smile to my face.
I watched all the way. Loved it! So much information!
The plant you pointed I think is a hygrophilla polysperma green
It could also be a Hygrophila Corymbosa/siamensis type. The polysperma-specie has a thinner stem.
I love his story, thanks for this!
Nice! Over 1 hour to watch and hear! ;) Thank you for another great material!
Love his enthusiasm! Thanks for sharing 👍
great video. So much passion. Love these tours with peoples home hobbies. Keep them coming. Great work.
I know it's only an American holiday, but Happy Thanksgiving from Massachusetts, USA. This was great to watch during my aquarium maintenance today. even inspired me to tear down and restart my neglected 15 gallon tank. I'm thankful for what you bring to the the world.
Happy Thanksgiving from RI 😊
Thanks Nick for another great tour / visit to a fishroom I would not be able to visit in my lifetime. The tanks and beauty in his setups are just gorgeous! Thank you so much.
its such a great hobby, i love seeing Tonys enjoyment from his amazing set up. Its good to see someone not just trying to be greedy or gatekeeper-ish also. I love his sword tails, when i was a kid i used to catch them down the creek at ashgrove. his swordtails made me want to set up a sword tank, but i can only one have one tank and chose to keep microdevario kubotai.
I gotta say 1 more thing ~ this video is the kind of story in the hobby that gives me inspiration. Bravo Gents!
Thanks for always uploading quality content!
I've seen a couple of your videos already and now I've subscribed. I like your videos, I like your enthusiasm. It's very refreshing. Keep going with these long videos, they have a cool vibe.
Love these tours always so fascinating, when i saw your son was Toby i recalled seeing the story on the news of your work accident. Glad you have recovered Tony and back doing what you love doing, no wonder you love your footy.
I love watching these videos! You can tell you’re both so incredibly passionate about the hobby, it’s so nice to see! I was thinking when you’re doing some of these showings maybe you should have the fish type on the screen, where is comes from, natural habitat, water parameters ect. Just for people like me who have never heard of some of the species before and can do some research from there.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this video from start to end. What a lovely, interesting and unassuming gentleman; a credit to the hobby. Bless you. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Awesome video Nick! Tony is such a nice bloke, his story sounds a bit like mine with the break when the kids were growing up, and he's a fellow landscaper, I enjoyed this whole video, he also has the same taste in fish as me and loves his botanicals, I'm really happy I got to meet him his enthusiasm is unbelievable.
Great video, one that can be rewatched numerous times. My baby endlers are smashing the bug buffet and growing so quickly 👍 Id love to see a video on how he set up these wine barrel ponds at the end as they look awesome 👌
Beautiful! I love that he both selectively breeds for better fish AND has such compassion for fish that he lovingly cares for those that are less than perfect. Single-species tanks are some of my favorites too. My Emperor Tetras raised young in a 100-gallon stock pond I had in a Berkeley California apartment decades ago - a blackwater pond with a pair of adult Uarus, hatchetfish, pencilfish, lemon tetras, and other fish. I was amazed when I first found baby lemon and emperor tetras in the pond. So fun. Could hang out there all day with him and never get bored.💙
I Love Tony's journey and passion. What a great video.
What an amazing fish room and great video! That collection of fish seem very healthy happy and loved! I’ve just started in the hobby and am using the Father Fish method using a dirt substrate and so far so good. Much love and respect to both in the video! ❤🇺🇸
What an amazingly knowledgeable and modest fish keeper. That room is unreal mate! I can't even imagine the know-how he must have. Sorry to hear about his best mate that really sucks. 😢
Hello KFS I’ve been a fan for years and I can’t express how much I appreciate your content. Keep it up, you’re a legend bro!🤙🇺🇸
Absolutely beautiful! Loved this video. Makes me want to go another tank! Keep up the great work!
Greetings from Denmark, such nice and calm relaxed video. Watch the whole thing, keep em coming mate.
INCREDIBLY inspiring, i cant wait to grow the hobby for myself. And good luck to everyone else out there❤
7:59 Hygrophila Corymbosa one of the easiest stem plant to grow without co2 injection and my first successful stem plant in planted tank hobby!
Was hoping someone knew the name in the comments, thanks 👍
Love your videos man so chill. ✌️
Love this type of content ❤
Love each moment of this video. God bless you. Dont have words to express. Simply wonderful.
I can watch another hour. So many awesome setups.
Great tour, big thumb up for both of you guys, thanks!!
I enjoyed this Video . Thanks for posting it
Love these vids mate!
brilliant tour, more of a chat between friends .. very enjoyable
Breathtaking! Thank you guys!
Really love your videos brother man. It’s nice that they’re longer too. Gives me something to watch as I take care of my fish, frogs, and lizards. You gotta get that bug buffet to the U.S. , I’d love to try some out!
Great interview 👍Tanks.
Loved this!🩷
Outstanding - so many cool fish and set ups.
Hi Nick, awesome video, thank you again for it. It is soooo enjoyable to watch, not just watching it till the end, but also repeated some clips. Tony's tanks are awesome, could you do some more reviews with him, how he keeps his tanks spotless. Seems lile algaeless. What kind of filtration, fertilizer, name of the plants, lighting, etc. Look forward to watching this
Love the top tank on the right behind him in the beginning.
The apistogramma panduro are such an amazing looking fish. Definitely just made my wishlist.
Thankyou for sharing this video ❤
Amazing very compassionate man who. Is dedicated to the art of raising fish .
The Spotted Blue Eyes (white version) is super nice. I do small batches of breeding with mine. Started with a pair and now I have about a dozen. My lfs has the gold version, but they are not as nice as the white ones. I actually brought 14 of them into my lfs for store credit. Shortly after I left, someone came in and bought 8 pairs. Mine isn't pure white like the ones in the video. Mine has a small gold tip at the bottom tail.
Simply amazing 👍🏻
One of the best fish rooms around !
Loved the tour. Makes me feel a little sad though, as I don't have any tanks now. I had to sell them when I moved 4 years ago. Being in Tasmania we are very limited as to what we can have down here. No shrimp (which are my all time favourite) very limited plants as well.
Another great and entertaining video. Can't wait until you come back here too. 👍❤️
"Bug Bufett. Its the best thing anybody has ever made."😁 Awesome tanks!
I love your videos❤ been watching them recently..
Wow there all beautiful love it all, tanks, fish, and plants ❣️
amazing setup and a nice guy!
This so fun to watch!
this dude is such a joy
Another great tour! Such good vibes. Is Aus just full of hobbyists? It seems like there are way less people this into it in the states.
Cool guy, and a cool fish room. I didn't think I'd watch the full hour, but it flew past!
Mate just awesome, absolutely love these videos... :)
Great to see True Scalare Angels ! Hard to find these days.
This is enjoyable video. If I may share, as I breed anglefish for hobby. We can take the eggs after 24-36 hours, put them into container add methylene blue, light aeration. This gives more chance for the fries to survive. Most of the parents eat their fries unfortunately
Just ordered the Bug Buffet all the way in Kentucky, can’t wait to try it out!
Great vid m8 keep it up
plant at 8:03 is called kirschenblatt in german markets.
