They think they're entitled to harrass (words turn into actions by the way) women simply walking down the street.women therefore have to be on constant alert to being harassed verbally and physically by these males.

    • They probably expect their daughter to walk around in a flour sack with no makeup, escorted by police every time she leaves the house... IF they allow her to leave the house. That's the plan they have for their daughter, anyway. They never see the reality of their daughter's life, and they certainly haven't bothered to ASK their daughter how she FEELS. MAYBE they'd understand if they saw the reality of her life and somehow could see just how often in her life she is catcalled, inappropriately hit on, approached by strangers to whom she's NEVER given any signals or signs of an invitation, and casually demanded by complete strangers for NO REASON other than that she's walking to her destination, MAYBE dressing up so she'll look nice for a date or job interview or an event, although dressing nicely is hardly required for men to behave this way towards women.

  • I remember about 2 or 3 years ago, I was riding an Uber, and my driver kept catcalling to women throughout the trip, and he was trying to convince me to do it with him, but I told him no because: 1. I already have a girlfriend, and she would not pleased if she found out I was doing that. 2. It’s disrespectful to women and makes them feel uncomfortable and my mom and grandparents raised me to respect women. He still tried to convince me to catcall women with him, and when he catcalled a woman, I had to roll down my window and apologize to her for his behavior.

Anyway, it makes me wonder if these catcallers will think twice about making comments if they knew there was a real and immediate consequence/threat of physical aggression against them, like another man ready to fight him.
