my ex girlfriend had a gummy smile, and i loved it more than anything, her smile was literally the most beautiful thing i've ever seen. so i don't think a gummy smile makes you less beautiful and you have to do anything about it, just be yourself, you're created beautifully.

I've explained to gim exactly rhat too, that I never even noticed these things and now they're all I think about. It doesn't help that I never get complimented ahen I do actually look pretty, or getting no touch affection, or being rejected for seggs.

I have always had a gummy smile. I remember when I was smiling for a photo, my mom telling me "stop goofing off, smile for real" and it was my real smile... I never knew how much people hated and wanted to get rid of their gummy smile. I've always struggled with self love and acceptance, but one of the nicest things that I do is see my gummy smile in the mirror and feel happy that I can even smile at myself. I think I love my gummy smile.

I'm part of group 2 I think.. I never really felt comfortable smiling around strangers and having braces made it worse. I honestly felt like I looked like a monkey submitting to an alpha with how much gum I had showing. I have RBF so I really don't smile much. I tested out that upper lip massage and it seems to be helpful

Because people make fun of it and it’s not always just a little gum showing. My smile is half teeth half gum when I’m super happy. I love smiling and do it all the time, but when people make fun of it it’s so much more of an impact because I smile all the time.
I always thought it was something sought after- my dentist told me it’s a sign of youthfulness and beauty and he actually offered to make my smile more gummy when I got my braces 😅

I'm part of group 2 I think.. I never really felt comfortable smiling around strangers and having braces made it worse. I honestly felt like I looked like a monkey submitting to an alpha with how much gum I had showing. I have RBF so I really don't smile much. I tested out that upper lip massage and it seems to be helpful
