  • I was watching this live on my tele, nearly fell off the sofa!! You handled it excellent, kept calm but showed your dominance. Just showed how messi listens to you and all the training has payed off. These cats have complete faith and so obvious the love and respect that they have for you both. Absolutely awesome first meeting of these two magnificent animals 💕

  • Обалдеть. Во-первых - фантастическая выдержка. Суметь исключительно словами удержать двух здоровых сильных хищников от драки за территорию и спокойно разрулить ситуацию! Это круто 👍 Во-вторых - Масян. Потрясающе воспитанный умничка. Па авторитет, сказал «спокойно, сидеть» и всё - горный лев сидит и только наблюдает за покусительницей. В-третьих Герда. Которая отплатила той же монетой и не развивая конфликт спокойно пошла домой.

  • Gerda will be very happy to have a stroll around the garden every day on her own. She has wanted to get her toes on that grass for ages and watching Messi out there she knew it's for walking and playing she is so good she has learned from watching Messi what the garden is for. She was a good girl! Great stuff! Another step to more freedom for Gerda. They where both FABUTASTIC! 🐾🐾🐾🐾💕💕💕💕🙌🙌🙌🙌

    • Well, Messi also went to a dog obedience school. I think that helped. They pretty much also raised him. That was risky, though. Messi was uncomfortable with the cheetah.

  • Congratulations on the successful international conference. There was a minor disagreement between the two PMs, but potential crisis was quickly averted. They shook paws and agreed to continue the high-level meetings Glad to see Messi and Gerda learning to live together. They will have to learn each other's play styles. Even house cats can escalate from play to fighting if startled or annoyed. Masha has taught them good manners

    • Он считает что раньше в этом доме появился, и его раньше усыновили, а значит имеет право так себя вести. Но Герда и папа его предупредили что это не так. И Месси как послушный ребенок все понял.😁

    • I never heard messi roar like that...I have heard him hiss, but never roar! It's funny.....but I think sooner or later, your gonna have to let them be next to each other, in an open space, and let them come to terms with each other on their own.. They will be fine... It might get a little rough, but that will pass, and they will be friends... It's just something that you have to let happen... Between them too...it will be ok

    • @@marleyex2695 yep, we never heard that real loud cougar roar before because Messi has never had to use it before. He was in fight or flight mode, but he only used it defensively after she advanced on him.

  • This is the first time I have ever heard Messi sound like a puma in the wild. I think he did very well even though he seemed a bit upset. He still listened to his dad's commands.

    • He's use to being the big dog(well cat) and Gerda was simply putting her paw down that this was her space and he was invading it. Luckily both Messi didn't get aggressive and neither did Gerda otherwise fur would have definitely flown, she merely gave warning swats to warn and drive him off. And most animals rarely kill in instances like this, there would have been some clawing and biting before they separated

    • Getting between 2 wild large cats is either brave or pretty stupid. These animals are not domestic dogs. They don't obey commands out of loyalty. I'm sure they genuinely love their keepers, but they are not like dogs.

    • These two people are keeping two untamable wild animals in quite small enclosures for attention on social media. This is some of the most irresponsible behavior I’ve seen, and they don’t seem to really know what they’re doing. One of these four creatures is going to get badly hurt, and it’ll be the humans’ fault.

    • Neither of them has any aggression, especially Messi. I was pretty scared when he first ran into the aviary, but all they did was put on a bit of a show. Gerda was defending her territory and Messi just told her to back off. There's no way this should have been expected to work out so well but it did, and I give all the credit to Masha and Sasha and their endless love and patience with these wonderful cats. They have so much trust for their parents that they put aside their instincts and behaved!

    • Для первого раза это шикарный контакт. Главное - худо бедно они подчинились Александру, гораздо хуже было бы, если бы инстинкты в них взяли вверх, над волей человека. Так что первый блин хоть и кривоват, но не комом вышел. Дальнейшие встречи постепенно будут доброжелательнее и возможно, они даже начнут играться друг с другом. Пока же их нужно научить друг друга терпеть. Это трудно, но думаю вполне возможно. Жаль они не с детства вместе, было бы проще. Котята быстрее сходятся и когда растут привыкают друг к другу. Так могут дружить даже абсолютно разные животные, если росли вместе (в одном видео показывали дружбу козла с тигром 😊 . Две противоположности, но для тигра он был практически лучшим другом). В общем первый камень в фундамент дружбы заложен, будем ждать развития отношений.

    • @@3okWalker Удивляюсь всегда таким вот комментариям. Ну вот с чего ты взял, что он сильнее? Измерял? Чем? 😊. Ну челюсти у него сильнее, согласен. И тело массивнее и мышцы, но гепард крайне быстр, она гораздо быстрее пумы. Да и вообще не стоит сравнивать, Месси слабее своих диких собратьев из-за болезней в детстве.

    • Да боюсь там намёк был не на погоняться 😊. Могло и в драку вылиться. Это вообще очень важный момент, момент истины. Что возьмёт вверх, инстинкты Хищников, или воля Человека? Воля Человека взяла вверх и это очень важный момент в этом опыте. Человек для них должен стать главным, причём они сами должны понять это, без принуждения, угроз и уговоров. И по моему они это поняли, потому что послушались. Может Природа и не дала им высокоразвитого интеллекта, но она дала им нас, людей. Мы должны быть им друзьями и помощниками по жизни, как старшие братья. И подводить нашу общую матушку Природу лучше не рисковать, она хоть и добрая, но очень суровая. По два раза повторять не будет, сказано помогайте животным и заботьтесь о них, значит надо маму слушаться 😊. Не нам с ней спорить, в ярости она очень страшна.

    • @@swmita While it all really went pretty well for a first meeting like that, purring is definitely NOT a way to judge a cat's mood/behaviour. While cats will purr when they're happy, they'll also purr when they're stressed.

  • All the training with Messi when he was young paid off . He sat on command and it helped defuse & de-escalate the meeting. I hope a translation to English happens. Perhaps they will learn to tolerate each other ? Seeing them playing would be wonderful !

  • Watched it live on Sunday. No less enthralling to watch again. Both cats behaviour was exceptional. No true aggression (seen way way worse from normal sized cats). What are the odds on finding 2 amazing special cats like these for one household. You guys won the BIG CAT Lottery. Gerda and Messi are PURRRRRFECTION.

  • Wow, just wow. The minute Messi wandered into Gerda’s enclosure I almost had a heart attack. I just held my breath without realizing it. So unexpected. It actually went better than I thought it would. I was so surprised. Gerda was very good about letting him into her space. She seemed to like going out of her enclosure too. And like any woman she had the last word. So congratulations to everyone.

    • Вы правы. Складывается общее впечатление, что у нее устойчивая психика. Она очень позитивно относится к окружающему миру. Понятно, что она в хороших условиях, но всё же ее характер имеет значение в данных обстоятельствах. Она уникальна в этом смысле. Не знаю, будут ли они с Меськой взаимодействовать, но спокойный нейтралитет вполне возможен.

    • Именно эти кошки люди приручили тысячелетия назад, именно гепарды и пумы использовались ещё в Шумерском царстве, в Древнем Египте и Карфагене для охоты, в отличие от тех же леопардов с которыми так не любят работать дрессировщики. В Арабских Эмиратах , Иордании, Саудовской Аравии состоятельные люди до сих пор держат этих кошек у себя в домах.
