My PC isn't that bad, but I sometimes watch this channel just to see if I'll find some cool hidden gem that I may have missed growing up, or games from my childhood that I forgot about. I've grown tired of modern games.

(although i love Shift and Shift 2 even more, but these are NFS in name only, and i rather consider them a part of Project Cars series, they were made by the same studio). But older games are also my favourite. PS2 and Xbox 360 are my favourite consoles, it's crazy how many awesome titles were made back then. Obviously same goes for pc games from that period. Chrome was such an underrated game. I wish it get more attention because it was an awesome game with huge maps which you could explore without being forced to follow certain path in order to complete the mission.
I played it a lot as a kid, I'm surprised its not well-known today TBH. The soundtrack was great as well.

Driver 3 and Driver 3 can easily be confused with tired eyes, but fortunately, both games are quite popular, so everyone knows that I made a mistake.
Even if some of them aged bad in terms of graphics, on pure "fun" and entertainment part most of them are 100% better than the AAA we have today. What's impress me most is the incredible variety of genres, whereas today every game seems to have the same formula. 2000-2010 was truly the golden age of videogames!
agree 100%. I think the last send off for this generation was in 2013 where we got GTA V and ARMA 3. It went downhill after that, probably only RDR2 that was exceptional.

it's just that most games now are free-to-play games and fps/online games. And a lot of mobile games and commercial stuff. But among the very good games they are way better than the games of the 2000's. Even just indie games can be very pretty, artistic etc Now you have some games where it went downhill because they focused way too much on graphics and not physics. Like Watch dogs 2 (2016) or Cyberpunk (2020) have lower quality physics than GTA IV (2008)

But honestly, it doesn't make sense to question why CP 2077's physics isn't as good as GTA's. Who cares about physics in a game where you spend 80% of the time reading and only 20% shooting?

Mostly shooters and racing... How about (as example) ANNO 1404 Star Trek Armada II X2 - The Threat Freelancer Ground Control II: Operation Exodus Thief: The dark project Hitman: Codename 47 Spore Sims 3 Syberia Alice -trying not to mention well known franchises but it's hard)
I've made lots of videos like this, and I always try to mix things up. Some have more RPG and strategy games, with fewer shooters or racing games. I also have a series where I highlight underrated and lesser-known games.

🙂 This game doesn't matter whether I played it or only had a few of it. ✔Those were still GAMEs, no pay to progress, early access since 200000bc years, lootbox ,skinbuy , always online nonsense, life as a service games. 🤷🏻♂I'm not saying that all of these games were really great. No . But at least there were GAMES to play and have fun with. 😵Also crazy to see: Today almost all of them would certainly pass as indie studios, Steam free games, if you didn't know that some of them are 20+ years old.
