  • Thank you Richard. Amazingly, your videos keep getting better and better. Your character and that of your lady, reflect through your enchanting portrayal of the wildlife. No egotism, just professionalism. Well balanced videos.

  • Congratulations on one of the best Kruger National Park videos I have ever seen. So nice to see something put together so beautifully with so much love and care. So different than the rest of the videos with endless fast forward shots of the car driving, so different than the shots of people eating and commenting on food, so different than the videos with the poorest of the poorest background music...not taking you to Africa but some Ibiza disco. Thank you for adding the names of the different species as well. Subscribed and liked, and hope to see many more.

  • Really enjoyed this! As we're in a wet, cold UK, we're vicariously taking in the best place in the world! We love the way you guys take time to see the small stuff (not just the Big Five, nice as it is). Love your bird footage. You do Kruger exactly the same way we do. Taking your time. Enjoying each animal sighting, not just a quick photo, and zooming off, looking for lions. Keep this up!

  • What a superb video you guys shared with us, what makes your video so special for us is the quality, the lovely commentary and the focus on the animals and KNP and not wheels rolling through water etc. Thank you so much and keep enjoying the SA nature.

  • Good to see it all as one film. As I've said before, you do a great job of the filming and editing. We've been thinking of going back in December, specifically for birds, and watching this has convinced us to get on with it.

  • Greetings Richard! This is the first time I have watched one of your videos. I sure did enjoy it. I watched it while I was having a meal and I was hoping to see something that would not show a lot of animals being ripped apart and I was very pleased that nothing violent took place. Most of the animals seemed to be in a very relaxed mood and it was a pleasure to eat and enjoy what they looked like in their natural surroundings. I even enjoyed the bird life; especially the bird that sounded like it was blowing a flute. I had never heard of a bird that could make that kind of sound. If I were out there in the wild with that bird, I might imagine that someone was pulling my leg. "Alright," I might say, "Come on out where I can see you." Anyway, I sure did enjoy your eight-day wildlife excursion in Kruger National Park. Next time, please introduce your girlfriend. She deserves some recognition as well. Anyway, adios from Texas my friend.

  • Magical experience guys, you had some fantastic sightings, look for the small things and the big things will appear. I'm heading to Kruger for 5 weeks in August, could I ask about the car door based camera mount, I think I saw Motion Mount, does it just sit on the top of the door, is it good enough for steady video ? It looks pretty substantial ! Safe travels !!!

    @AndyM...@AndyM...14 күн бұрын
    • Hi thank you so much for the awesome comment! The Motionmount is the perfect solution for steady videography. It is made to order to fit the door of the vehicle model that you specify when you place the order. It doesn't just rest on the door, it fits the door perfectly, with a durable rubber foam finish to protect the vehicle. This is what I use and I don't go to any game reserve without it. Enjoy your 5 weeks in the park, that's going to be incredible.

    • @@RichardvanHaght Thanks for the reply, I'll be hiring a car from Jo-berg, so might be a bit difficult for me if it's vehicle specific. Just getting more into video and discovering its way different to stills for keeping things level and steady 😮 Looking forward to being back in the bush with the sights, smells and sounds !!! 🤠😎

    • Thank you so much there are more videos to come! I use an Eos r and 100-400mm lens, with a motionmount on the car door to stabilise the setup.

    • @@RichardvanHaght Thanks for your quick answer. My EOS6D+Tamron70-200/f2.8 did well in its time but a bit short on animal portraits and not that at ease on harsh light conditions. I am on the verge of upgrading to R6mkII. Looking forward to viewing your next episodes.
