Jackie Brown (1997) - Don’t say one more word...
Director: Quentin Tarantino
Writers: Quentin Tarantino (written for the screen by), Elmore Leonard (novel "Rum Punch")

Robert De Niro and Quentin Tarantino reportedly did not get along on the set of Jackie Brown. Tarantino was annoyed by De Niro’s diva-like behavior during the making of the film. De Niro’s main gripe seemed to be that he thought he should have been paid more for the role of Louis, an ex-con.💥

Jackie Brown is the least known Tarantino movie. Have you seen it? Your thoughts❓Underrated maybe⁉️ Let us know in the comments ⬇️👇

  • 0:09 That "knock you the fuck out" line always sounded 110% real to me. The delivery reminds me of angry, messed up people I've encountered in my life.

    • De Niro is great expressing anger with his characters!!

  • Tarantino is a genius, but these two performances make this scene iconic. Melanie's "Lou-is" is sincerely irritating, and De Niro acts so much with non-verbal communication. QT's most underrated movie!

  • Second best scene in the movie. Still gotta give it to the entire "Girls with Guns" sequence.

    • Maybe the second shot. The first one goes at her legs.

    • You talk as if killing someone is a natural response to that.

    • @@whengrapespop5728 For many that is the natural response, if you see the stats, one percent of all are psychopaths, not all of them will do that, but a fair amount will do it without flinching. And I don't know if you noticed that /s at the end of my comment? Today that is used as a sign that whatever is written is sarcasm.

    • @@ozymandiasnullifidian5590 Oh, never heard of using /s, so thanks for explaining politely. Yeah, I guess that’s true, although most serial killers get sick to their stomach their first times, slowly getting more content with it. Psychopathic behavior is unpredictable, though, and nothing to push boundaries with.

    • @@whengrapespop5728 In written media, especially like this one, sarcasm is hard for spotting, one should go over the top for others to know that he/she is sarcastic, that is why more and more use that "/s" to signal sarcasm.
