Find the Perfect Spigen MagSafe Case for Your iPhone 14: Our Expert Reviews
So I bought Spigen's entire MagSafe lineup for the iPhone 14 (well, almost the entire lineup). Most of the cases haven't changed in years BUT Spigen has introduced cases like the Optik Armor and Geo Armor 360 in the last year. Are they any good?

What other case brands should I do a review for?
There are two cases that I didn't show in the video. The first was the Enzo. Spigen charges $150 dollars for this case and it was out of my budget. I'm reviewing approx. $1000 worth of iPhone 14 leather cases and nothing I have in that video costs over $100. $150 is just excessive.
Now I might have considered buying it IF Spigen priced their products properly. Spigen charges 2x as much on their website when compared to Amazon. Spigen products generally are not premium quality. Decent but aren't worth the $70 dollars they want.
The second case is the Slim Armor. I was sent the card version instead so here's my two cents for the iPhone 14 version. The Slim Armor hasn't changed in the last few years, it has slimmer corners and no impact foam. Other than that, it's the same size as the Tough Armor.

I got the Ultra Hybrid for the 14 pro max. The button look doesn’t bother me and the MagSafe is strong enough for the car mount. What impressed me was the drops I’ve taken with it it.
I have a spigen tough armor for my s20 fe and it has stayed tough and super tight the whole time. Like its brand new. Ive been following this channel since 2011 and this is the longest lasting case i think ive ever had
can't believe you didn't mention the magsafe strength on them all. it's been the main buying point for me when buying a case since the 12pro max when it came in.

Thanks for always providing the real feedback, as many of those things impact our decisions and devices. Flimsy sides and all. Lost a screen to a drop with a flimsy sided case. Been sticking with the Speck Presidio Grip, just miss the TPU grips.....

Hi, About the Optic Armor: Have you ever thought about having your phone in the windshield and let the strong sun to play with your lenses on a longer trip? My Note 20 died because of that. The soldering on the motherboard melted. Just a hint why I believe every phone's rear lenses should be protected like that, or any non-transparent cover.
Perfect timing. I’m sitting on the fence when it comes to their 360. 😂 I got into the Otterbox brand because of your reviews way back in the iPhone 5 days. Otterbox does make them like they used to so I’m looking else where for my iPhone 14 Pro. I saw that Amazon price too 😂

My favorite case for years has been the tough armor. It’s never let me down. I’m happy it is protective and has MagSafe
Tbh I agree I've been with spegin cases for the s7 thru iphone x and went for a 13 pro max and yes I decided why not get spegin for like the 6th time

Great video and super informative! Been using the tough armour for years on my previous google phones and now my iPhone . Not a huge fan of the logo cut out at the back but overall great case !

I love the tough armor the kickstand works great. Been using it for multiple phones. I hate the cut out logo because Im limited to grip options. The pop sockets don’t hold properly because it can’t be sealed. I need a kickstand case but I also need a grip like a ring or pop socket. What do you think is the best option
Based on your videos I bought a used Magbak case with wallet for my iPhone 14 pro. I love it for one complaint and that is a smooth surface is no good for using the kickstand ability.

I just bought the Spigen wallet attachment and I’m soooo disappointed that it doesn’t work right with the 14 Pro Max model. It tips over immediately when you try to use the stand
Spiegen kickstand red&blk case is superb tactile buttons &proper tight fitting using case for my 13 pro max&S21 ultra both have same case…..I also use rhinoshield nx bumper crush guard case for both phones also thease cases are worth buying I’m dam crazy about cases my cases collection is very big I have 60 plus branded cases ❤
When I had a spigen case with MagSafe for my 12 pro max it never stayed on my bell in mount because the magnets were too weak

I think you got the „lensprotection“ case wrong. It is for people who have concerns that the phone is getting hacked and the camera activated. But if there is a manuel cover ….
The camera lens protector protects your camera from getting fingerprints so yes it is useful. I love the camera lens cover on my Tech21 Evo Max because I never smudge up my camera anymore, every other case I also ended up getting fingerprints on the camera and always had to clean it, the lens protector eliminates that problem.
So now you just get fingerprints on the lens protector instead? How does the protector stop you from getting fingerprints on that?
@@DirkMeister it’s more of a lens cap and it has a matte finish, you still have to slide the cover to expose the camera.
@@JHEntertainment98 Oh okay. I thought you were talking about those glass camera lens protectors that come with some of the newer screen protectors. I've talked to a few people and they say that they're not that great. Apparently they can cause problems with your phone case depending on which case you're using and one friend told me that he ended up removing the camera protector from his iPhone 13 because of fogging up his camera lens during humid weather and other conditions.
Yeah you must get super super unlucky to damage your lenses, even when caseless. And then they'll break, not scratch. Real sapphire or not it definitely doesn't scratch. No iPhone lens ever had a scratch and my Apple Watch looks like new after over 2 years despite having bumped against rocks. Just got the rebel flex btw and love it. Build and fit is excellent, magsafe incredibly strong. Really like the design and hold. Surprised by the quality of the carbon fibre on the back, really solid and smooth texture like on the dell xps laptops.

It’s so sad how expensive Spigen IPhone cases have gotten, I remember when almost all of them (at least on Amazon) were under $20 bucks for the iPhones, so sad.
Love the reviews, i had the optic armour prior to this video and the reason i got it was to prevent sun damage to the camera sensors. My 12 pro max started to have image issues because i left it face down on a sunny day. With that said i dont like how slippery the case feels on my hands.

Good stuff man, I’m using the mag armour on the 12 and it amazes me how much dust collects inside over time. I swap from that to a tough armour (Sans magnet model) or a rhino shield bumper case from time to time.
Please please please do a comparison on camera protectors. I know a bunch of them mess up the LiDAR or the flash and I’m really curious if there are any that are actually worth using. I would happily donate $25

spigen used to be dope around the iPhone 6 era. since then they've been really mediocre. I remember spending 35$ for there thick glass screen shields.
PLZ HELP ME!!!! Hello, I know you may not see this. But I hope someone will. I have an iPhone 14pro max. I have week hands and drop my phones often. I I spent 100$ on cases and screen protectors. And I still crack them. I have an OtterBox case now. And have already gone threw 3 screen protectors. Is it the case or what I geting. It’s every day use. I drop on my hard wood floors. Never more then waist high I’m only 5ft. I’m desperate for help. I don’t have the money to keep doin this.
The reason i have the Optik Armor case is because I'm anal about finger prints on the camera lens. Fingerprints make pictures look worse. I've gotten in the habit of quickly opening it while i open the camera app. I would suggest to Spigen that the cover should be white so flashlight can still shine through.
