I built a massive ZOO with every animal in Minecraft hardcore. Today in hardcore minecraft I build one of the biggest projects I have ever done. It has taken me 2 months of work from gathering materials, building finding and catching animals and so much more. I hope you enjoy the video =)

I kinda wish there had been a final part getting some glory shots of the finished zoo and maybe a before and after. That looked like a lot of work.
You should up date it and add camel and sniffer :) I’m glad you included the allay not very many people included it.

The only thing I wish is that the Glow Squids got their own tank. Just imagine like a mysterious and ominous tank that's lit dimly lower than the rest in the aquarium. It could be so magical feeling

Yes!!! The wolves will shake off the water if they got wet. They also are a darker gray when they are wet. It’s an animation I’ve always known them to do.
All the time i've played minecraft and yet i've never noticed them do that before, lol. You learn something new every day =)

This is such a breath of fresh air seeing a minecraft zoo that isn't just the bare minimum space and detailing in little cubes in some cave. It looks phenomenal too! Keep up the good work ^^!
Not sure if you will come back to the zoo but there are some variants of mobs specific to different biomes. Like desert bunnies, snow bunnies, and snow foxes. They could all have their own enclosures to add some more variety. Also not sure if you will be moving your world to the new update or not but if so it would be cool to see some camels and sniffers :D
Trader llamas need to be tamed to be persistent creatures (thus kept). Love the series.

Lol, yeah they sure can be silly and a pain at the same time. Must admit I did have a giggle myself after despite it being a little frustrating xD
If you have a Channeling Trident, I'd recommend breeding the Mooshrooms and using lightning to turn the new ones into Brown mooshrooms (probably better to do outside of the Zoo, so you don't accidentally kill any of the other ones)
Your builds are amazing, glad I saw this vid in my recommended. Two things you should know: 1. Turtles will only begin hatching if you don't sleep through the nights 2. Dolphins will drown themselves if you're out of range for their A.I to pathfind and resurface. (So it's kinda pointless having them as they'll due anyways). 😬

also, afaik turtle eggs only hatch with access to the sky
Actually that’s not true. I’ve built an aquarium with a huge dolphin tank and I’ve never had to respawn them
@@Lucas_1121 I tried building a dolphin aquarium in Minecraft, they all died at some point. There were cod droppings which proved they had died and not respawned - when a dolphin dies, it drops cod. There was also no live cod put in the enclosure beforehand so it's not like the dolphins killed some cod and then de spawned. I also added no roof so they were able to go up and breathe properly. I don't know why your dolphins haven't died, but this was my personal experience 💀
All my dolphins died once and it was because my friend killed them so that’s the only time for me. They’ve never died on their own

You missed bats. I was hoping to see some bat representation as bats were the first mob I ever added to the zoo I'm making on my server, and they were a bit tricky to get since there's not a lot of info on them. But your zoo is far superior to mine in every other category. Thanks for the inspiration, especially on the allays. I wouldn't have thought to include them in a zoo.
Thanks AJ, yeah someone else mentioned the bats, I completely forgot so I will try and find a spot and build an enclosure in another episode, I knew i would end up forgetting one, lol. =)

Great zoo Nerd! Only thing I would've made the panda's enclosure more of a Chinese style since they are China's national animal, but overall I don't mind the Japanese theme on it! Great work as always :)

I genuinly think this is the coolest Minecraft Hardcore challenge I've ever seen. It's such a great combination of insane building, but also has that videogame completionist vibe with collecting all the mobs.

Looks amazing! I can see how it took two months! Edit: If you want to be able to buy unlimited name tags without the villager's trades locking, you should look into ianxofour's voidless void trading setup. It's super easy to put together in a single player world, and it'll save you so much time and effort.
There's only one word for it - WOW. Now that's dedication! Such patience in searching, trapping and dragging all those animals. And you have such an entertaining way with the dialogue too. I laughed when you named one Jon Bon Jovi. If you ever get the urge to do a tutorial again, the Parrot Enclosure would be a great one.

2:37 At the zoo in my state, there’s a big bridge connecting the entrance to the zoo with a walkway made of bricks dedicated for people who donated/passed away. I don’t believe that was your original intention, but that’s what it reminded me of, so I thought it was super sweet. 💙

Honestly the only thing I would personally say could get some work is the Japanese theme in the panda enclosure, since they are native to southern China. Otherwise absolutely spectacular build, fun watch.
Epic video! I just realized there’s over 3000 types of tropical fish which would make it near impossible to find every single one of them.
With the 1.20 version of Minecraft coming out. How about a new pen or two for the new passive mobs. The camel and the sniffer.

i have seen meany zoo minecraft videos but this is the best one! I love how detailed and biutiful the enclosured are. I also loved that you gave the animals plenty of space. The park areas around them are also really inviting and cozy. The animal capturing was also fun to watch. Good video!

The parrot enclosure kinda looked like it was an aquarium without the decorations inside, but I can't even build that so great job it's my favorite enclosure cuz it looks unique and detailed

In regards to trader llamas, to keep them from despawning you need to tame them. After that they will never leave (under normal circumstances) no name tag required. Also… I wish you good luck if you make a hostile mob zoo
If you ever post a tutorial for this zoo like u did with the castle, I'll once again follow it to the minute detail!! Anyway, absolutely love your builds.
For future water projects, if you use kelp to stack the water source blocks, you might be able to save yourself a little time. Beautiful work. I would love to see this on a server.

Great build, BlueNerd!!! Hey, I never knew pifferfish harm other fish. Back in 2020 I built a giant storage fine sorter with a wall aquarium. I never knew what happened to the other fish. Only the pufferfish was left. You just solved a three year old mystery!! ❤ 😂 🎉 !!! Thanks, BlueNerd!!!
This is the new definition of "SERIOUS dedication"!!! Absolutely gorgeous and my favorite zoo build of all that I've seen. It's the kind of place I can spend all day IRL and feel like it was just not enough time. Each enclosure is just perfectly suited for the animals. I just felt awful for you when you lost some on the way back. Next.....I think you might allow yourself a bit of a rest. These last two videos were ginormous efforts! Make an ice cream truck or a little minigame If you need to put something out there. I know we'll all watch it.
Add the bat, spider, sniffer, camel, cave spider, silverfish. Also some rare animals like the brown mooshroom, blue axolotl and that bone horse 😅 Hope there is a part two for this 😘

Polar bear is my favorite too, if there was giraffes in Minecraft that would be my favorite but hopefully they add giraffes soon. The zoo looks so realistic though!! It’s insane!!
This looks so pretty, like its so cool!!! As a suggestion maybe you could some day do smt similar with the agressive mobs like zombies skelletons etc...
@BlueNerd doesn’t the copper oxidize anyway? You can build the structure with copper blocks and overtime won’t they oxidize anyway? I could be wrong
Yeah they do oxidize over time, but they do take longer when they don't have a few blocks gap between them. I just wanted it to be seen built in the green stage as i'm not a huge fan of the 1st orange stage. But it would of still oxidized over time =)
I never think it’s possible to get any better than they already are, but somehow your videos just get better and better

And the results are way, way, WAY better than what one could imagine before watching the video! Idea for your next hardcore build: On the other side of the island build a zoo for hostile mobs, but make it in such a way, that it is contrasting with this zoo! I think it will just be the greatest thing ever build in MC.

My son just got Minecraft for Christmas and his favourite treat now is to watch one of your videos when he's finished all his stuff for school. He thought your zoo was amazing and it inspired him to make his own mini builds for his animals. Your videos are fabulous but also friendly and give great and clear instructions for all ages.
Something about the way you shaped/textured that ice cave and pool looked really, really great. And I love the parrot enclosure! So frustrating how you can't have animals that teleport to the player roaming free but maybe you could add one or two of those chickens - sorry, fat parrots - after all so there's some life and movement on the ground. :D

It took you month to build this and to have more content you could have easily split it into several videos. Yet you put out one large 40 min video! This is amazing! You are by far one of the best Minecraft content creator imo. Looking forward to the next video!
Amazing video! Just caught upnto the series! I do have some ideas in mind you can do. If you had villagers running around the zoo it would make it feel like its an active zoo. You should also consider making a map room somewhere so you can have a nice over view of everything you've built so far!

Reminder: You can adjust the height of the Bamboo by putting a string on top. Edit: You can also add some more details by putting a book on a stand (forgot what its called) and put the name and description of the creature.

You forgot to add bats and I think you should also add sniffers and camels now that they are in the game. Also, I know these are neutral/aggressive mobs, but maybe have an enclosure for spiders and silverfish.
I've been looking and looking for a minecraft zoo for inspiration... and omgoodness this one is amazing! Another fabulous job on a beautiful and detailed build. Suggestion for next build, how about a Botanical Garden featuring each plant and flower in its own special exhibit?

Very nice classical zoo. But i wish u had done it more themepark style, like all Mobs from same biome in the same are for e.g. lifestocks: cows, pigs, chicken etc or polar bear, fox, wolfs... and all jungle Mobs.. and so on.. You could done some kind of themepark buildings around. like all lifestock on a big Farm area or all winter/Ice Mob in a cold frozy area, entrance maybe an iglu or so. Big evenergreen trees etc. And i think ur parkways are "okay" with the brickblocks, could be more textures i guess.... and more detailed with lantern, trashbins, banks and so on... more like a living zoo, with infocards an the enclosers or shops and resting point. But well done, all this in Hardcore.
