-Piroe can NOT start these next 2/3. -Ampadu has to come back into Midfield. -He has to experiment with gnonto in the 10 and maybe rutter/james out wide. -433, why kot try that for ffs. -He can NOT continue making these Substitutions. Throws all the “attackers” on and vacates the midfield, making us more vulnerable and often put immense pressure on Gray, as hes often the one left on his own in midfield.
I think the issue is the mentality and confidence above anything else. Won't work imo.
Gnonto should be benched,the hasn't the temperament to play in No10, offers nothing from recent observation.
@@tonyhirst3628 Are you saying to carry on with Rutter in the 10? Weve been poor for months. Weve not really seen much free flowing attacking football since 2023. Results covered up performances, except for 4/5games where i felt like we gave them nothing. This squad is ridiculous, hes not experimented with it properly. Its criminal that hes not either dropped, which i thinks a bit extreme tbh, or moved Rutter out wide where we all saw his highlights on youtube. Rutter is always willing to try take someone on, hes a bit of a unit, quick and got good feet. Put him out wide where if he loses the ball its not as bigger problem immediately for our defence. Hes also not going to be surrounded by 3/4 dirty CB/CM’s constantly. And for me Gnonto in terms of shooting, is clear of Rutter. Either foot he’s fantastic. Hes small but powerful. He could be magic in the pockets, hes good enough and to receive the ball with a defender in his back and turn him with good movement or touch off, and be a real threat around that 18yard line. Also he clearly loves playing next to Summerville, let them show their chemistry.
@@bealiee295 Summerville has played the ten position well, Cardiff at home, Hull away, a player of his talent shouldn't be man marked and isolated on the wing. He's a better player than Gnonto, both in passing range and game intelligence, Gnonto should be played on the left, Rutter has not surpassed any expectations for the amount of money paid.

Hes a decent finisher and got good hold up play. -try someone different in the 10. -If hes not going to try someone different in the 10 go with 2 8’s and play 433. -Bring Ampadu into Midfield no matter what. Show some faith in Charlie or Liam.( i dont think Norwich are particularly blessed with attackers). Either way something has to change with the tactics and set up.
I'm a fan from Hong Kong and I just want to express an opinion that we don't need Meslier, his performances and confidence have been declining in the latter stages of the league and hopefully the leaders will look squarely at the positional options if the play offs fail. Acquire a new goalkeeper and keep the competition in goal.

They've been ground down by Farke's one dimensionality, he's changed nothing to assist the players in these games against low blocks, that needs intelligent tactical adjustments and it simply doesn't materialize from him, he won't change because he doesn't know how to.
i think there are fractions in the dressing room.. i think something happened when the wales boys came back disappointed, and some kind of clash has happened.. it seems like they don't wanna play to and for each other....😞

@johnnyginderskov6943 totally agree, I actually think its the front four who have fallen out with the rest of the team, plus Joesph has friction with Bumfluff and Piroe had issues with Cree, Farke is playing very one dimensional and has not addressing the obvious problems, plus the players don't believe in the system being played if you can call it that!
Did anyone notice that nobody celebrated with Piroe after he scored
@johnnyginderskov6943 Valid point maybe a bit of sourness when James missed that penalty, but I think fatigue had set in amongst them as well as disappointment. If there was a problem with the wales members it could then split the dressing room if others rallied to either side? There was definitely a spat with Piroe and Cree, and that I think has not been resolved and there was a spat with BumFluff and Joseph. The other thing that's worth mentioning is with Firpo, Cree Ruuter, and Gnonto, where they were just passing between themselves probably causing rifts in the squad, especially when rutter was losing the ball all of the time. I also detected in the players body language they are all frustrated with Farke as well. Not a bunch of happy campers. I still want Farke out for me he has let us all down not just the players.

I don't know about anyone else but that game was so bad that i just started laughing at everything that went wrong for us. The lack of shots, the shit passing, the loss of confidence and just being outplayed in general. Fairplay to the Saints and Congrats to Ipswich, fully deserved to go up

49ers have already told Farke that even if we don't go up, there will be no exodus of players. We'll probably lose Summerville and maybe Rutter, but we'll replace, no doubt.

Nothing in that game that makes me believe we beat Norwich let alone West Brom or Southampton whose managers can tactically out think ours.

Leicester fan here… watched the game and it looked like Southampton were the ones that had an outside shot at the playoffs. Good luck in the playoffs, would like to see you join us but I fear it’s gonna be one and done unless they all figure it out.
They just look mentally checked out. I think he's lost that Leeds dressing room and the players clearly have lost faith in the system. Psychologically what does that do to a squad? When in any other season you'd go up with those points but because we and Ipswich have gone insane. How do you motivate them? This was meant to be a confidence boost heading into the playoffs but now, it just seems like it's confounded them to sink further.
I think you make a great point about them being mentally checked out. I think the QPR game did more damage mentally than anything else. When it comes down to the wire In these types of situations, someone is going to break mentally. Unfortunately, it was Leeds.

Farke really doesn't have a plan when things go wrong. All he does is throw attacking players on and hoping things change. No question, he should stay as manager even if we inevitably fail in the play-offs, but if we struggle at the start of next season, he will be under big pressure.
I honestly wouldn't back Leeds to beat any Championship team at the moment. Same old Leeds Utd, they build us up, to knock us down. I don't see anything from Farke that makes me think that he's capable of turning this team around. I repeat what I've said before, don't play a full strength team in the cup games that we have no chance of winning the cups, our priority was going up not cups. Now we look like we are shattered, our tank is running on empty. So had first team players not played in cup games and saved ourselves for the run in who knows if it would have made a difference. Shocking management IMO.
Totally agree, also if he had used the players on the bench more and earlier that might have helped aswell and developed them more too

As I said before......Superstar Selfish Sumerville has denied us loads of goal opportunities from his team members this season. It's great to believe in yourself, but blind arrogance and selfishness at Summerville's level is foolish........he's hardly George Best or Lionel Messi.
Now I have calmed down and have had time to think, will be glad to see the back of Summerville and Gnonto and hopefully bring in team players with a bit of grit 👍

I have said this before and I will say it again, last seasons failures are this seasons no hopers, its no coincidence, these players have over achieved. They simply are not good enough, they weren't good enough in the PL and they are not good enough now in the championship its time for you to be realistic, we are not going to win in the playoffs that I can assure you, it won't matter if BumFluff comes back or if James is available they won't be match fit. The Solution is to sack Farke and put up for sale all of last years players and rebuild with a different team its that simple, for next season, see no real reason to persist with these players. Yes I know Farke got a four year contract he still can be sacked just about money, its the same people who decided to reward Bumfluff with a contract until the end of 26, needs a complete clear out of the coaching staff, management and players, until we change things at Leeds your going to suffer the same fate! Ipswich has shown how it should be done. Leeds and fans should stop Bulling up the players beyond their natural ability, and staying loyal, best thing to do is get rid and start again and have a solid plan to get out of this division in a finite time period, my prediction is, if we keep theses players we will be 15th next season and then relegated the next. I don't personally care that you give me a load of grief in the comments I 'am saying how it really is this is not an emotional spike been saying it for ages, if you want to be a successful club you have to start looking at your deficiencies and act to remove them! By placating the players and the management, and ignoring the faults you are by default accepting failure!

After a great start, Farke has exposed his weaknesses in the last games of the season. If you were the 49ers, you'd certainly rue a huge and costly missed opportunity and be concerned that the manager couldn't get the players fired-up against our main rivals for the playoffs.

@Jamie_A1 my opinion hasn't changed since the autumn, I gave him a few months but I could see during that period that he's 1 dimensional, doesn't alter tactics/ players to react to game states. Long term thats a recipe for failure. The only reason we have 90 pts is down to individual brilliance and not great team performances. The brilliance has stopped now the results are relative

All teams have a slump it's impossible to keep going for a whole season after season. Great managers find a way to get their team back on track, this hasn't happened at all with Farke. Something is wrong the players are not playing for the team as they should. Have the players lost respect for the manager? Do some of the players know they are going for good money so given up? Somebody has said something which has changed the dynamic, the players are being lazy on the pitch

I've said it already, but I'll say it again. The QPR game was our Championship "Palace moment". Last season fans continued to blindly believe (despite all the evidence to the contrary) after the Palace disaster. This season, too, fans continued to believe even after the QPR humiliation. I have a simple question: what on earth have Leeds achieved since the international break that makes fans believe? One may as well expect to find fruit on a Giant Hogweed.
Many problems- no midfielder has scored in the Chamionship except Archie Grays own goal. Leeds have only done the double over 1 club in the bottom 6 (Plymouth). We can’t score from set-prices. It’s very disappointing from where we were to we’re we are now at.

Southampton have beaten both West Brom & Leeds home and away so they will be feeling confident, the fact that Norwich lost yesterday does not change anything as they were guaranteed a play off place and probably fancied taking on Leeds rather than the other two.

I agree with most points made but what Ipswich have done is out of our control. They’d done exceptionally well. But agreed that if the wheels fall off like this unless we get promoted it’s a failure - but not to the level that you’d sack Farke unless there’s a top draw manager available.
I guess my point is, 90pts is an achievement, and if 2 teams did even better we have little control over there (in fact, we beat both of them twice so, their tally’s could have been a lot higher). So while I get promotion is the goal and the points only matter in where you are on the table - pts are the part in our control, other teams points are not - and as said, we can only change the 6 they can get against us and we actually did that. So, it has to be taken into account that we can’t make Leicester or Ipswich get less points, and they were so far ahead. The only argument can be that if they can do it why can’t we. We had that dodgy start to the season and that may have made the difference. Still, the end of the season is there to be judged on performances and results especially when it mattered but I do think we have to accept, to some degree, that Farke has probably reached the point target expected of him but it’s been a crazy season with 2 other teams who have done exceptionally well and that’s out of our control. Not making any one point or declaration.

Cant believe this was the same team who stuffed both Ipswich and Leicester twice and I have to watch them partying after auto promotion,I have no clue whats going on. I just wanted them to win today,show some fight and desire,still got a chance in the play offs but it could have been so different. When Piroe starts the 'press' is abysmal. Cause rutter acts as the 9, Piroe drops into midfield but there's too big of a gap in between between striker and midfield. Comparing this to Bielsas side who pressed with the defenders on the halfway line. It's awful to watch. Loved the content Conor with your family

Is it really all about adrenalin? Can the noise made by a crowd make players significantly better, or does it just block communications between opposition players? How can a manager boost the adrenalin levels of the players before the game (not giving them injections)? Are players preoccupied with how much money they will be earning next season, to the extent that they cannot perform at their best and appear to spectators not to be interested in what remains of this season. Or is it all an illusion? Was the sequence of wins just a statistical anomaly that has now been corrected? So many questions, so few answers. MOT.
