Klopp is incredible - Chelsea supporter - not here to Troll. Congrats on a great season to both teams - City is perhaps the most professional English team we've seen in the modern EPL in terms of closing down a League Title Liverpool had a great year but they surrendered a 7 point lead - you can't square that circle - it's easy chasing b/c there is no pressure. I was amazed when Chelsea went 10-2 down the stretch & set a (then) EPL record of 30 Wins to close out the 2017 EPL Title as Spurs finished 11-1 - It was a remarkable piece of professional football, much like City closing us & Liverpool down in 2014 - but for City to win 14 in a row & needing Every one of those 42 points w/ Liverpool either having a game in hand or playing first Every week was remarkable Kompany & Arguero are true giants of the EPL - I put Kompany in the same class as John Terry for us & City will regret not resigning him even if he doesn't play a game next year. John Terry barely played before the last home game in 2017 but he was Instrumental in the locker room in securing our 5th EPL Title that year Bottom line is the fluke Win over Everton, the City missed penalty in the 1st LFC / City game & several other instances always gave the feeling that Liverpool were very lucky to be that close & City proved their Championship mettle - again I said this in 2013 & Nothing has changed "In the Post Sir Alex EPL their are Only 2 teams capable of Winning the EPL Title - Chelsea & City And that may change some day - for example Chelsea is a mess under this moron Sarri. But since Man Utd last lifted the EPL Trophy in 2013 when Sir Alex retired there have been 6 seasons - Chelsea have won 2 & City have won 3 & Leicester City won that incredible EPL Title in 2016 - but None of the other "Big 6 Clubs" have won the EPL Everyone just assumes LFC will win the EPL Title next season but I just don't see it - this team got Every break imaginable this year & they put up a wonderful point total but just like 2014 they spit the bit when it mattered most - it just happened earlier this time around. I like the way Pep has changed the face of football wherever he's been. Spain (world cup), Germany (world cup) and now England. Good on 'em and all the coaches coming through with the same ethos. Very very proud of Klopp and the team this season. 97 points only 1 defeat is so amazing. To finish 2nd with those stats is hard to take but putting things into perspective to push the Premier leagues best ever side to the wire is amazing in itself. We finished 25 points behind City last season so to what we’ve done deserves amazing credit plus we’ve our 2nd Champions League Final on the trot. I so hope we win it this year because this manager and team deserve something 🏆⚽️❤️

I’m a lifelong Liverpool fan. I think it’s been an exceptional season for us. And still may end that way on June 1st. But this is so hard to take. 97 points and only one defeat.... Crazy. Looking back, too many draws at the wrong time. Especially when Man City lost to Newcastle and we messed up at home to Leicester the following night. But it was the draw at Man U that pissed me off. They were there for the taking that day. But this team will come again next season don’t worry about that....Up the reds. YNWA

@Car Fli I was referring to week 21 when City met Liverpool who had a 7pt lead, City won the match reducing the gap to a 4pt lead, when it could have been 10pt lead if they had lost. Not sure when they had a 9pt lead... but I was talking about this big turning point in the season. cheers.
I came here to remember the feelings I had when Liverpool lost the league by one point, I knew then that this club won’t stop trying till it gets the title.Most other teams will lose the motivation but the mentality that Klopp brought to the club is unbelievable.

Last season it was a one horse race..It was all over by Xmas..Only Liverpool could match City , and gave us possibly the most exciting Season in Premier League History. To lose just 1 game all season is amazing, and the lead exchanged over 30 times at the top of the table..and 97 Points..Liverpool have showed the class and difference between the rest. A massive.25 points to their closest rivals.. You can't draw with city and expect other teams to take points from them. We lost the league the day we draw with city. Brighton couldn't do what we weren't able to do with the quality in the club. Anyway let's now focus on Champions league final, we fought a good fight
Very close. But no title. Try again next season. They lost the title when they drew after City lost to Newcastle. Overall they had too many draws. A loss + win is better than 2 draws. On the other hand, City set the bar very high and they were playing without their best player for most of the season. The CL final will be very interesting. Both Klopp and Pochettino need a trophy. They are very good managers but need to win.
