In the heart of New York City, Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, makes a triumphant return only to be thrust into a city gripped by darkness.
The murder of Jean DeWolff, a long-time ally and detective who collaborated closely with Spider-Man, sends shockwaves through the city. As grief and outrage spread, Spider-Man takes it upon himself to unravel the web of mystery surrounding her untimely demise.
With time ticking away, Spider-Man races against the clock to decipher the Sin Eater's motives and uncover their true identity. As he navigates the intricate threads of the criminal underworld and follows the clues left in the wake of the murders, he realizes that the Sin Eater's vendetta is more personal and complex than he could have ever imagined...
