It just means he knows what he's doing. Both the staff of the tonight show and Colin tried to come up with one joke the succinctly gets across the tone of the special, and they both came up with the same joke

Sam spoon feeds more than Opie did, Jesus Christ. Opie would setup/explain things and it took 10-20 seconds, not not minutes. *edit* lol, I said not not minutes because of how annoyed I am at how bad Sam is.

@rxp56 Opie would tease things for weeks. That's a different (and also annoying) thing, though. Sometimes, Opie teases were even funny. Like; doing a top 10 and not giving away the #1 thing because it drives people CRAZY. Sam keeps pausing the clip to explain something, and he's got that smarmy "I'm so smart, I'm much smarter than everyone else" voice. Anyone who is going to laugh at what Colin did, gets why it's funny. We don't need to be told why it's funny. I guess you could equate teasing something for 10-20 minutes to "dragging it out" and what Sam is doing to "dragging it out", so, maybe it is similar in a way. I'm sorry, man. I'm just frustrated. I miss O&A. And, I'm not trying to be funny here, I can't believe Sam is a cohost. I don't think he ever should have had mic time. It's like someone with Parkinson's performing surgery.

The longest one I can think of is "naked guy" from /watch?v=NLDTUGIi3xM and it's nowhere near that. I might be a fucking retard, but I wasn't comparing shows. I was comparing the level of explaining/setup of Opie vs Sam. If you do want to compare shows, can you name one good bit from Jim and Sam? Something funny, like baby bird, taking the retarded Laverne and Shirley to the MTV music awards, the most annoying 30 seconds contest, etc etc?

The fact that the "Jim and Sam Show" thinks its worthy of putting out this amount of pointed criticism is rich. I haven't heard a single funny clip from this show worthy of replay, ever. I sincerely like everybody involved too. It is comedy milquetoast. Where OnA pushed the envelope, J&S sucked it back into their anuses.
