  • Lee IS very smart (definitely a contender for the smartest on TV) but I don't think he hides it very well. The fact that he replies so fast with unbelievably witty lines all the time is a testament to how freakishly good his problem-solving and linguistic skills are. Deep down I'm sure even his peers are impressed and they probably just pick on him because they know his witty reaction will bring a big sense of irony to the situation

  • Even his facial expression changes when he drops the dumb act. Look at his face in most of these clips (especially when he says the bit about the first time he had sex, and says "I can't believe it") and his face when Jimmy asks for his 9-letter word, and he says "steadings". You can *see* him drop the act and just be himself for a second. Same thing with "reuniting" -- the moment he says it, his expression is completely different. Brilliant.
