That's why people are so tired of these movies-literally every antagonist gets recycled and made part of the "family" in a later movie.

Fr. Statham’s character was out for blood in 7 and slaughtered anyone that was in his way and yet is all of a sudden a human with morales and compassion and joins the family in the next movie. I swear most movies nowadays can’t make a proper evil villain or they do but then water them down like the Shaw brothers in these horrible movies

I think it's inspired by the 1995 San Diego Tank Rampage. A man stole a tank from a army base. And terrorised San Diego. It came to a stop after he tried to go to the other side.
So Dom has adamantium bones, resistance to gravity, superhuman reflexes and an un-concussable brain but you can down him with one bullet. Ok.
Letty's another main character so she has super bullets.

Well if you think about it, bro was pretty much stunned since in the very next scene, you see him pulling out the bullet and was fine very shortly after. So he also has superhuman regeneration and near resistance

Some impressive barrel rigidity on that thing. Most weapons wouldn't work after the initial yank of the car going under the treads, as the bending of the barrel would be more than enough. After that, it'd rip the whole barrel right off before flipping the thing, because those things are _heavy_ and far more so than the barrel could support. The turret might come loose instead, if the weapon is in there enough to actually stay (or, perhaps, if it were to get bent and itself go beneath the treads, which might be enough to tear the turret's mounting apart, but either way the thing wouldn't turn either after that kind of force and the shells definitely aren't going to go where you want them to, if they go through at all).
But the barrel does survive all the forces cuz.....FAMILY
The cable wouldn't have held either. And even if the cable was strong enough, whatever it was attached to on the anchoring car would have just been ripped off. But the cable and car were powered by family so I'll let it slide.
after all these years, i just realised...there's pillars between the roads, so the cable would have wrapped around and yanked the car back onto the tanks side, but i guess not xD

The inside of that tank looks more like my gamer mancave than the inside of a tank.
That tank is probably similar to M75 Rulue, a possible 5th generation American main battle tank designed to replace the aging M1 Abrams series and to effectively counter the Russian T-14 Armata. But M75 Rulue is still under the concept and prototype status.

Despite my ciriticisms of this franchise, these movies do reignite my hopes. The hope that no matter how unrealistic, how fantastical and how impossible a story that someone comes up with, there will always be someone to finance, direct, act in, distribute and watch those movies.

I'm guessing speed and the way it's anchored between two structures can cause a shift in unintended movement, resulting in forward force being applied to from, leaving less force at back causing it to tip? I'm just guessing so not 100% sure
