WHY GREAT BRITAIN IS SO SPECIAL: Things that will make you fall in love with the UK// Joerg and I moved to the UK more than 5 years ago and have explored a number of places here! There are so many things that make Britain very special: its literature, the charming and quirky villages and cottages, afternoon tea, the castles, the charming countryside etc. We have yet to explore so so many places but today's video (which is only a tiny fraction of what we have seen so far) will make you fall in love with this beautiful country as well. This video made my eyes fill with tears and brought a lump to my throat.. I felt so emotional to see all the best bits of my homeland put together and many of the places I had also visited. Recently, I was feeling really low and I thought seriously about leaving England but I didn’t go and I’m so pleased I decided to stay. I fell in love with Britain by reading first, historical novels by British authors as child, then later its history, architecture, interior decor and gardens. It’s such a beautiful county that seems to have it all. You two show it us in the most pleasant, charming way, thank you.

I love Germany also. Our ancestors came from there. So much of our culture is Germany based . We Iive in Pennsylvania Dutch area which has nothing to do with the Dutch. It really should be Pennsylvania Deutsch!

For me, it was an adventure thinking that one day I would possibly return and now I'm longing to return. Australia is far too modern for me and I'm not the type to lie on a beach getting burnt to a cinder let alone skin cancer, which many many Australians succumb to. Yes, I'm also looking forward to seeing vlogs again from your travels across England, go well and take care. I think the thing that amazes me is some paintings are so big, which I absolutely love. The Stately Homes are beautiful and surprisingly, some of the rooms look so cozy.

Beautiful, beautiful video! In 2018 We visited the UK and my husband secretly scheduled us a visit to Highclere. I requested we stroll once we were there, so like Matthew and Mary we strolled, we kissed on the stair landing. Oh my gosh it was all magical, so I completely know how you feel when you visit these magnificent sites! So much history and beauty. I'm looking forward to everything opening up again.
