There are so many people who love the site, but I've never heard of the site actually showing appreciation for the creators and steamers that earn them that money. • 7:47 When I heard this, I thought of an old job I had. I loved the field I was in. I was comfortable. Yet one day, I was offered a large salary elsewhere, so I did the same as you and went to both companies regarding the matter. The company I worked hard for for 2 years, repeatedly exceeded expectations, showed up every day, gave my life to, gave me that exact same line. All the while the other company offered me more to get me to consider it. That kicked me in the chest. I had tears in my eyes as I walked out of that office. I was leaving a company where I was recognized as one of their best employees, and they wouldn't even consider asking me to stay. I made the right decision, and I hope this is what's best for you as well. Make them Mogul Moves bro.

  • It’s pretty clear that Twitch feels like they’re (and i guess is at the moment) untouchable while KZhead is actively trying to knock them off. Once KZhead cleans up some of their features and grabs a few more streamers, Twitch will probably start to fall off + ratio + L. I’m glad you got on that call with KZhead and that they fought to get you. It may feel like leaving your comfort zone but imo that’s where you get to grow the most. Also that Otto extension is huge considering KZhead’s dumb username link to your email Also don’t feel lonely you have Rae (for at least 2 months until her contract expires pepelaugh)

Listening to you talk about all of this, and talk about how Twitch and KZhead are as a whole, to you, and learning gradually how Twitch has treated people....I'm just doing a bunch of thinking. I want to do this. I just don't know how I'm going to make things work. So I guess...Thank you for the advice, and for the insight here. I've watched a lot of these videos relating to Twitch/KZhead/streaming/content creation just to see some insight from a regular creator about what's happening when they're off of the livestream and away from their audience for a bit. Still trying to figure out how exactly I'm gonna make this work, but I'll do my best. I want to do this. I know I do. But I can't right now. I'll take your advice and your criticisms on things and I'll use it to help myself out. Thanks again.

    • I think they’re arrogant in thinking they’re ahead of the game so they think they’ll eventually come crawling back. Like that Mixer and Facebook thing. Honestly, from my own experience as a viewer, KZhead’s layout and options are better than Twitch now. Twitch is ahead in game interaction from what I’m aware but KZhead can catch up. And it’s KZhead which usually pushes a creator to bigger heights through the algorithm recommended and larger audiences (clips and edited videos doing the leg work). Twitch needs to see it’s starting to lag behind and that what it’s offering in terms of viewership, contracts, and creativity isn’t competitive enough. Any streamers that do bigger projects are likely to jump to KZhead if they get offered the same. I don’t watch live, so the streams I do watch are vods for like Teo and Chilled Chaos and those are on KZhead. KZhead doesn’t really separate it’s live and video notifications that I’ve seen so I’d be more likely to catch Ludwig live if he was on KZhead (and I did for the recent Mogul Money). Ludwig has a great concept for livestreaming gameshows with chat interaction. It incentivises seeing it live and participating, which then generates donos and subs from more live viewers likely to partake in that.

  • The „Twitch extension“ for KZhead actually makes me a bit excited about this move… Because one bad thing about KZhead streaming is definitely the lack of Culture. As a viewer, it just doesn’t feel like your own little world with no good emotes, common memes or inside jokes but it seems like that could be fixed by this extension. The one thing I still dislike about this it that it always feels like part of the culture of twitch is falling apart with every big streamer leaving the website. It also sucks that this all comes down to mistakes on twitch‘s part like not fighting for their creators and being, in general, what seems like a horrible company with weird guidelines, policies and decisions, making other websites more attractive from the get go.

    @pilzz03@pilzz032 жыл бұрын
    • KZhead has its same weird guidelines and policies but the one thing that makes a difference is that youtube understands its a bigger company and having a connection with the creators that will bring you success or has brought you success is important even if its just a plaque for 100k-1mil its the idea that goes a lot longer of a way than doing nothing the way twitch has and they have been failing with that aspect for a long time

  • For what it's worth, I think you're making the right decision. Mogul Money and the other cool shit you make is top tier content and I'll be real, it's the content I subbed to your channel for, and it's the only content I reliably come back for. Sure I watch a stream or two here and there, but that's not content that makes me excited. I don't go to twitch like _"Oh boy, sure can't wait to watch Ludwig casually play a game while shooting the breeze with chat."_ but instead it's just something to play in the background while I do my own shit. But the other content, that's worth everything, and if this means more of that then I can only see it as a good thing not just for me, not just for you in terms of enjoying and being proud of what you do, but for the channel as a whole. I sincerely wish you nothing but the best, Ludwig. And never forget that we all came here to watch the stuff _you_ wanted to make, so doing what you think is best will always be the right choice.

  • Good on you and I respect the decision, although I feel KZhead only fought for you so they could grow their KZhead gaming/streaming side. PewDiePie being one of the biggest KZheadrs, but they didn't really give the respect he should've gotten like when his KZhead show was canceled. At the end of the day, they're both just huge corporations. Same shit. Talking about the streaming side though, I dislike KZhead streams (FOR NOW), because almost everything sucks on it. Chat sucks because it always lags, chat culture from YT and Twitch are different, streams are known to lag on YT's end, no gifted subs, no raids, no emotes from other content creators, and no TTV emotes or animated emote. That aside the best thing from KZhead is a WAY better access to keeping and organizing VODs as well as rewinding a stream WHILE it's live.
