Last night was my first concert. I waited 47 years to see KISS. Me and my brother grew up with kiss from the begining. It was the best experience of my life. KISS ARMY.........
I wasn't really a kiss fan going into their concert back in January of 2019 I knew all of three songs at the time but I loved them and I got tickets because I always heard that they put on a fantastic concert. I agree by the end of the concert I had become a fan. Kiss is great in concert.
@@BobSaxon-ou7ww Yeah, they're great live. Their performance is 2nd to the Stones and have great pyrotechnics 💥💥
It's hard to say goodbye to KISS after 50 years of rocking roll all nite all over the world.
@FreddyJewger probably what your boyfriend said
@FreddyJewger, it's easy to feel insignificant and lash out at massively successful people. You'll get past it.
@FreddyJewger you'll be okay. Just make your boyfriend a sandwich and all will be well. 👍
Oh finally!!!!! About time!!!!!!
My all time favorite band!
Glad to say i have seen them. Grand forks north Dakota. Thank you kiss.
Seen Kiss in 1996 with the origanal members on the reunion tour, will always cherish that experience and memory
I'm 57 and it's hard to believe I've been listening to them from elementary thru high school and till now and always! I've been to their incredible shows and it' sad to see this part of rock history end! Thank You KISS for being a part of the sound track to my life!! It's not goodbye forever, only goodbye for now!
Rock n roll all nite, party every day Never forget
They did a farewell tour in 2000, then ousted Ace and Peter. They've toured steadily since with no intention of leaving. They announced the EOTR tour in 2019 with the intention of ending in 2021 but the pandemic delayed everything. They admit they're too old to continue performing in costume. They won't be back. A show here or there? Maybe. Gene wants to tour with his solo band without makeup... But KISS as it exists? No.
Believe it or not back in the day Van Halen was the opening band for Kiss. Kiss Army since 1977.
Not... VAN HALEN never opened for KISS
KISS!!!❤
Thank you Kiss for 50 Years of Fun Joy Intrigue Music Shows and Introduction to Good Hard Rock n Roll into my Life 🙏👍🤟🤟
KISS doing a “posting for the last time everyday until it ends up on the news” challenge.
I think this band is an embarrassment to rock n roll !
They have had more final tours then any band in history
More than The Who?
Two is the most ever? You sure?
Ozzy enters the chat.
This is the second Farewell, just saying.
Weird, Kiss were saying the same after the reunion tour of 97 that dragged on for years. Always touted as the end but they went on for another 25 years
yeah but this is it, they can't keep doing it at their ages now
@@agoogleuser992says who? They already doing it
With pre-recorded music. And two fake members.@@ADuckOnQuack97
It was the farewell of the original lineup
Age has caught up... But Gene has other plans 😀🤘
It's completely unrealistic to think they will be back in 3-5 years. Gene is 74, and Paul is just a little younger. Gene will do some shows with his solo band, and Paul will probably continue with Soul Station, but KISS as we know it is done.
I can't believe it's done. Thank you for being a part of my life for 48 years and getting me through the darkest day of my life when I lost my Left Kidney to Kidney Stones caused by Cystinuria at 9 yrs old. Thank you for being the best.
It's cool, can't wait for their next "Farewell Tour" in a couple years👍.
As a fan of KISS for 14 years since 2011, I am really appreciate Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley for being the only original dynamic duo since their creation back in 1973 for 50 years, I understand that getting old and not motivated is the biggest challenge that no person can overcome, also a huge thanks to Ace Frehley and Peter Criss for also being a part of their success and carrying on to the heavens of ROCK!!!
The first farewell was about the original lineup
Hi it's ❤😂🎉😅 good to hear from the 70slengend and l love to hear more ❤😂🎉 happy times ok keep it up in today's generation
I like how while this guy is talking they just randomly show a clip of the band in 1981/82 (its a bit mirky when Ace left but they are wearing the Songs from the Elder/Creatures of the Night Outfits)
In my mind, this band retired when Ace and Peter left. I'll always have fond memories of the original 4.
You missed a lot of great stuff. And Peter was kicked out. Js.
I have to think there will have been noticeable improvements in backing tapes if they wanted to do another reunion tour in four or five years...
Yeah, but now in Avatar form.
If KISS has another fairwell tour, I'll go see that too! LOL
What has made kiss last as long as they have and are so beloved by their fans? Unlike Religion and politics they are not dicks and they actually give their fans what they want, for real and with good times had. And, they'll keep on doing it, even after death, as Avatars and holograms, forever. Long live kiss! 🤘
Kiss is one of the top rock bands of all time.
Get out of the basement.
I think this is Kiss's last tour. Gene and Paul are in there 70's now!
The first real rock concert I ever saw was KISS in 1975. The KISS ALIVE album just came out shortly before. They played every song from the album, in order, except the song "She." Shortly after, I learned about Frank Zappa and then all "rock" music seemed banal and insiped. Great first concert experience, but I wouldn't bother after I turned around 18.
Gene paul and other members in the band
I think that, back in the early 2000’s, when they announced the ‘Farewell Tour’ that they meant it….even if just for short period of time. What I thunk could have happened was they realized that the general public would still come to see a Kiss show despite Peter and Ace not being there. In other words, the reunion tour showed people what a great live act they were and that the average person who just attends for the spectacle doesn’t care who’s on drums or guitar. And once this sink in, they changed their minds. In fact, I know that promoters approached them and said ‘Hey, your brand is hot again-if you provide three original members on stage, we will do the tours’. And to further this point, the attendance then proved that it didn’t even matter if it was three-Gene and Paul could carry the show that had become more about the spectacle than the band. Kiss shows are now known as events and not necessarily attended just by fans. The average Joe knows their show is incredible and wants to see it. And if there’s two guys that look like the old guys, that’s fine. Obviously this has been successful. But personally, I hope they mean it this time. I don’t really support them anymore but don’t dislike them. And Tommy and Eric are great. I’m lucky enough to know them as people and they work hard and deserve this success. But truly, it’s time to end it. I honestly wish them well, but will be jaded and bitter if we see another round of ‘just kidding-were back’ tours.
Great post. Personally I’ve always thought that the earlier “farewell tour” turned out to be a real farewell…but just to Ace and Peter, not to KISS itself. Of course it wasn’t advertised that way. But in truth, that tour presented something no one was going to see again. As for me, I love KISS in all their incarnations but agree that it’s time to end it. I hope the last (?) show is a great one.
They have been on their farewell tour for what, 23 years? Motley Crue and Ozzy Osbourne have also had multiple "farewell" tours. I don't believe it for a second.
What has given them longevity Paul Stanley sings to a track
Gene too.
The Paul track didn’t start till 2019 so the longevity was there before the tracks.
Highly unlikely Kiss ever tours again. They are four years older than they were at the start of the tour. Paul is limping to the end and i have no issue with that. It's a swan song. They may do a one off show but i doubt more than that.
It's not KISS without Ace and Peter.
Rehab isn’t rehab without Ace and Peter.
@@sjs1555scab kiss sucks 😂
Ace and Peter are not in Kiss because they are Ace and Peter. Nobody has denied what they did in the 70's and briefly from 1996-2000. Other than that those 2 dunces party too much, cannot stay sober long enough to start/finish a tour, so they are not currently in the band.
No, it's much better.
@@christervainio scab kiss sucks. Thank God they are going away.
It’s about time!! Loved Kiss when I was younger. Gene and Paul Made tons of money over the years. To bad Ace and Peter aren’t playing. Ace wrote the best songs.
Ok, so this guy Steve Waksman is a Professor and supposedly an expert, but doesn't know the title to 'Rock and Roll all Nite.' ???
Simmons described lip-syncing as dishonest. "I don't care what your music is, have some integrity, be real, or full disclosure before the fact," he said. "Hold up a sign that says, '70 percent of what you hear is fake. It's a tape. I'm a karaoke singer.'" - Gene Simmons, hypocrite.
Simmons is very specific idk how much clearer that could be for you. Lip syncing is different from karaoke
Deja Vu.
Looking forward to seeing this was at the Vancouver concert on the 8th of November and also January of 2019
The end is near for sure 🔥🙏
KISS is going to the ABBA route. Digital avatar performance.
Comeback Tour 2025-2027 I will be there😂
🤣🤣🤣 this will be their 17th "final" concert 😂
🤣
I’ve seen KISS through the years from 1982 to 2023. Even though they play much of the same material, occasionally adding a deep cut, they always put on a great show that is worth the face value ticket price. I was skeptical prior to the 2023 show, but the band’s music and stage show was just terrific. My favorite show was the 1996 reunion. Best concert of my life.
As much as they are a shell of themselves, and are narcissistic frauds at this point, this is kinda sad. This is the beginning of the end of the greatest music time ever: the 70s to the 90s. Because it won't be long before Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Scorpions, Crue, and all the other bands of that time, retire for good. I'm 54, clinging to my youth, and when one of those bands finally disappears, so does a piece of my youth. Kiss suck now.....but it's sad.
It's "Sadder" they didnt treasure their legacy any more than they did!
Hasn't been kiss since they kicked out Ace
Ace has never been kicked out. He left.
Yer 1974 -1983
Yer we haven't heard that before lol ..wonder how many suckers will rush to buy tickets 😅
😭😭😭😭
Was born in the most populous city in canada & missed their show there in the Olympic year at the very end run of their alive show ( month after destroyer released ). Got wind of them in the late spring / summer of 74 & my 1st LP bought was my all time fav Hotter than L'enfer ....... Saw them at the top of their prowess as a band ~ spectacle ....& overall 20 times in a club & outdoor stadium.... Got the autographs of all the members before Kiss turned into a semi-cover band~ brand....( meaning not Tommy ). Saw them in their prime & saw them 40 years after their touring start........& even saw them play with their back up band onstage ( which was unheard of & perhaps the only time ). Music & musicianship was decent ; shows were well done if rehearsed like a script.... Beatles of my generation.....& lucky enough to see them when a good ticket cost $7.50 & 1st row floor few years later $50 & didn't have to pay a rigged concert fixed ticket system.
Kiss launched a U.S. Farewell Tour in March 2000. It must be a reeeealy long tour.
That was the farewell tour for the end of the reunion tour. Everyone gets that wrong.
@@billyc6678 No. They don't. You do. That was the FAREWELL tour. Watch every single interview from 2000. Watch the press interview the band did. They did NOT say this is the "farewell" to the original line-up. They said this is the end of the band, while "we're still on a high." Gene's book from 2001 literally begins with him talking about the soon-to-be-last KISS concert. I was at that tour. Paul said repeatedly, "We're gonna miss you" during the show. Instead...Peter left in 2000 during the last American show because he found out Ace was being paid more and he demanded back-pay and an equal salary. The band said no. He left. Ace left in 2000. They begged him to stay. They even brought him a birthday cake at a convention and (backstage) asked him to stay. He refused. They got two other guys to wear the make-up and kept on going. THEY LIED about it being a farewell back then... NOW they used backing tracks and pre-recorded vocals. It's a joke.
@@eaaivazian well someone loves to hear themselves talk.
@@billyc6678 OK, genius. Let's try THREE sentences: 1) The Farewell Tour 2000-2001 was a "FAREWELL TOUR" for the band. 2) The band admitted in press interviews at the time that they're done and going out on a high. 3) Gene even said at the beginning of his book in 2001 that KISS' last show ever was coming up. There, get it? Or are you one of those guys who can't admit when you're wrong?
Thank God
Right on Steve!
It’s about time!!!!👍
"Final show" of the "Final tour" - marketing terms. They never said it's the 'final show' which seems to be a marketing term from you.
This isn’t the end of s-t, they’ll be touring next month. Just watch
Really? Gene is 74, Paul is 72, you really think they are going to throw on those 40lb outfits on and those platforms again in a couple of years and go on another tour? You're funny ..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Starscreamf15 just watch pal
Next month 🤦🏽♂ This is it as a touring act. This is the last tour. They will probably continue their Kiss Kruise and probably have a residency in Vegas, but doing both of those does not equate to a tour. Plus, they are getting Bruce back into the band and going out as the non make-up version of Kiss from 1992-1995
They won't be touring again. This guy doesn't know the band at all. The Farewell Tour in 2000 was farewell to the original band. Think of their ages. Their performance has lessened over the years. Aging is a natural process.
Sad. End of an era.
Theyve been saying this forever. Gene is more of a business man than a musician. A couple years will be the 2nd anual end of the road tour.
No. It’s the beginning of the road tour.

Whaaaaaaaaa? No way!
They knew how to promote. They have about five good tunes in my opinion. Hats off to them for doing it for so long.

Would of found my way in if yall were in rock city
I wonder if the drumer still spins around?

Good
They been doing last concerts for over 25 years 😂

They write great songs? Lets not forget Desmond Child also wrote many great songs for them as well.
Just to clarify here, Desmond wrote great lyrics he did not write the songs
I thought I saw the last of KISS back in 2000….and Motley Crue in 2013…..and The Rolling Stones in 1989…..and all these bands came back when the $$ ran low
Does that the legendary rock band KISS is about to retire?!
"Final" concert. Riiiiiight. Final concert of this tour maybe.
.....and that would be exactly as I would expect.
Clickbait,.........they'll rip their fans off again with another tour next year, followed by a Las Vegas residency, or vice versa.
They will be back 4 sure
The Great Rock-n-Roll Swindle: The band has been on cruise control for decades with backing tracks and pre-taped vocals -- gimmicks to lazily go through the motions in front of rubes and lemmings willing to throw money at a ruse. KISS isn't alone -- but they made it a cottage industry before it became fashionable to turn the stage into a cheap circus act.
Tracks started in 2019. Decades?
Well.... We'll SEE.......
20 final shows later.

No,, on anything h.r.m. Dianna
Kiss will be back to rip off the fans more with the best lip synching and backing track tour yet… 🤣

Is Paul Thanley gay ?
why do you ask, Sounds like you are interested in him
Soooo...that was an advertisement for live streaming and "not having to actually be at an event". But...who doesn't love that make up?? Jeeezus...so horrendous
I've got furniture older then Kiss's farewell tour. Heard this too many times. Who pays $ to see a fanboy dress up as Ace Frehley? Who pays for that?
Millions, apparently.
Thousands maybe. @@glengamble526

Don't worry, KISS fans. They'll be back.
Nobody on planet earth will be attending...
No Ace, No Kiss
Leaving on a high note!? Lmao, they aren't singing or playing their instruments. It's a joke. They might as well just play a video of actual past concerts where they actually played.
Can't wait for the 2027 "Farewell Tour".
Rubbish!! Alice Cooper invented "The Rock Show"...particularly with the Billion Dollar Babies extravaganza in 1973 that Kiss went to to get ideas. People do not know their rock history.
it was nothing like Kiss' , they took it to the next level and made people say "Alice who" , I love Alice Cooper , but come on, Kiss was 10 times better
Don’t buy it
Kiss no more makeup tour, revisiting the decade without the gear. Kiss cruise sitting down. This is goodbye to the characters and spectacle that was. In a different format I think they will find they want to play and people want to watch.
i just want to say i heard it all before they will be back!!
I do not believe for a second this is their last concert. Trust me, it's not. They may think that it is now, but give it a year or so and Paul and Gene will be tempted by money again.
Lets hope they keep their word this time. Go spend your money already you over rated has-beens.
well , you sure are interested in them to be watching and leaving a comment, nobody cares what you think, Kiss rules and if it wasn't for Kiss you wouldn't be listening to whatever crap you listen to now

Ok I don't know who this Steve guy is but I'm not impressed with his lack of reasoning here. Yea lots of bands come back out of retirement and tour again which means when groups say no more tours initially it's bs. In that he is right but his skepticism regarding KISS is ridiculous and wrong imo. Gene is SEVENTY FOUR years old, his outfit is between 30-40 POUNDS, I do not expect them to come out of retirement. Him saying oh we'll see in a few years. Good grief. You really expect them to go out in these outfits when they're 80? Give me a break. They should have really stayed retired with the reunion last tour but I do not see these guys back on the road again this time and it's getting annoying listening to idiots that aren't looking at the whole picture and not believing this group saying this is it.
I don't know who this Steve guy is either. But let's face it: if Gene thinks he can make a ton of money with yet another KISS reunion tour in 3 years, he just might do it. The band sounded good still in 1996. They weren't 1970s level...but at least it was exciting to see them with the original four guys in make-up. But now...they play to pre-recorded tapes, lie that the original guys aren't there because of substance abuse (it's all about money...Ace quit, he wasn't fired). They've already toured FAR LONGER than they should have. We're supposed to believe they'll suddenly worry about embarrassing themselves in a few years? They've been an embarrassment for quite some time as it is.
