Jewels Makenzie usually, EXCEPT for her exclusive interview with Lay Zhang. She treats him personally, TOO MUCH like a friend. And keeps touching him and sidetracking the questions, so her energy and natural enthusiasm actually undermines the PROFESSIONALISM and boundaries that should be established and I feel it gets lost- what he is TRYING to say and convey, at least...🤦🏻♀️ BUT, that’s JUST ME & my opinion. I never wanna judge anyone harshly off the bat, and everyone should formulate their own thoughts. I’m no saying she did it intentionally, I’m JUST SAYING, go check it out and see for yourself, perhaps? 🙆🏻♀️ I’ve still got mad respect and love for her ability to connect like this. It CANT be an easy job to do what you do and keep your cool, always! PROPS! 💖✊👏💕⭐️

iHeartRadio, can you give Ellie a raise or like let her have 30-40 mins with kpop groups because she's such a fantastic interviewer!! Every time a kpop group comes to America for interviews, 80% of the time interviewers dont know how to talk to them but Ellie never fails to make them feel comfortable and she has such a great energy. Like Monsta X seemed so happy and relaxed here and they were having fun too. I wanted more of that interview!
She also sometimes speak Korean in them. Ellie is so amazing. Sis needs a raise.

Honestly!! I love her so much her interviews need to be longer like 45 mins or something. Other Interviewers don't even do their research and they literally like u said cannot talk properly to them. It's so awkward sometimes too. She genuinely vibes with them and makes them feel so comfortable I love it. And she's like a fan of all these kpop groups so that just makes it even better

Yea sure no problem. So let’s start from the top going to the right. We have Minhyuk, Shownu, Hyungwon, Wonho, Jooheon, IM, and Kihyun. Shownu is the leader Wonho Minhyuk Kihyun and Hyungwon are vocalists IM/Changkyun and Jooheon are the rappers MONSTA X debuted on May 14 2015 and they were formed on a survival show called No Mercy. They have many series that I suggest for you to watch: MONSTA X Ray 1,2,3; Deokspatch (there are many), Right Now and more. Also watch Safari Monbebe world it’s so adorable. Here’s some facts: Jooheon is the aegyo king Kihyun has such a high voice range Wonho has a cute lisp Changkyun lived in Boston and Israel for 7 years total Hyungwon is a model and he needs more parts in their song! Shownu is the cutest leader And Minhyuk is literally an Angel In fact all of them are angels! Watch out for their comeback ARE YOU THERE next week!

Ellie lee is such a great interviewer, thank you so much for this! I can tell she knows a bit about each of the guys and really researched her stuff e.g. when she said minhyuk is good with kids, shownu & makeup monsta x were super comfortable answering her questions too!!

From the beginning I liked her energy but when Jooheon said “connected” and she said “Ahh, connected. You’re connecting with your fans” I was sold. She’s a great interviewer because instead of letting it get awkward like other interviewers do when KPop idols english isn’t perfect, she makes an effort to clarify in the most patient, polite, and enthusiastic way. It seems my boys really loved her energy too. They weren’t very shy as they sometimes are a little bit in other English interviews. This is such a great interview.
Also I love Interviewer: “Do you guys feel all the love all the time?” (Referring to Monbebes) Jooheon takes mic from IM and looks at interviewer: “Sure” And just that friggin look he gives her. Sweet Jesus what I’d do to have any of them look at me like that.

That interview was short but so refreshing. It felt like they were talking with their sister. They felt so comfortable and they were even sort of teasing her a little. I also loved how she knew about Shownu Lipstick Prince show, she did a great research or is she a Monbebe? ;) I would love to have her as part of the fandom!

She is literally the best kpop interviewer I have seen. I love her! You can tell MX is having fun and genuinely smiling and laughing with her energy. She is not formal and awkward and so I can see they feel so comfortable.
one thing i really like about monsta x is the way they praise their fans. i’ve never seen a group that loves their fans THIS much. every time an interviewer asks how how they describe their fans or how much they love them, it’s just endless praise❤️ i love them so so much

Ellie is by far the best interviewer I've seen out of all Monsta X's U.S. interviews. She's so personable, charismatic, knowledgeable of who she's interviewing, and just a ray of sunshine. Look how comfortable and enthusiastic the guys are with her. Even the normally quietest ones, Shownu and Hyungwon, participated in the conversation without having to be prompted.
