    • Sadguru is the spiritual advisor to klaus schwabb and the WEF . He laughs ( rather disturbingly ) when “expressing” his opinion that we need a lot less souls on planet Earth in conversation with klaus . Surely expression and communication are directly connected . Are we being told not to communicate ? Are we being told here to just accept and not question ? Where is balance in this ? We all inhale and exhale . These are a few of the things I perceive .

It’s actually crazy, but it slaps lol I was looking at old photos wondering about the blank look on my face a lot and I see now I was intensely focused on perceiving the world around me. You didn’t really have endless rolls to keep taking the same shot back then. It was more authentic and captured reality

  • I never taught my kid of a heaven, or a hell, or a soul even.. he was nonverbal for years, till 6..we both are autistics, and our perception, seeing the world without words, so it's not separate, rather one big being... even tho he talks now, he sees little use in it, he can look at you and you know what he wants, especially strangers, and they walk away feeling connected to my son, in a vibe sort of way.. he's really quiet good at it, oh, but his interests at 8 years old is different languages from Spanish to Russian. He's never had a true friend his age, yet the letters and numbers and even his remote are his allies. His remote is named Billy, and he continues to learn from educational shows on KZhead. I believe my son feels connected it a much different way to the world, and in kindergarten he was deemed best reader in his whole school in just a month, he was doing 2nd grade work. He wouldn't speak outside of reading, or echolalia ie catch phrases as close to the situation with meaning in the autistics perception of the situation or even responses with vocal stims. Teachers asked me, as well as parents.." how did you do it" I did nothing but gave him complete freedom in his play, I accepted him for exactly who he is, I did the opposite of what others told me, and let him have repetitive screen time as well as repetitive autistic play no matter how odd to others it seemed. He's hilarious, never laughing at his own jokes, perfect delivery 🤣.. and the best part, he doesn't seek admiration from others, he doesn't try to change others, he however does gain much attention by not speaking, he's 8, went 2 hours without speaking while waiting on slaughters day aka Thanksgiving, every adult was having a fit at this restaurant, my son lead by example, and sat patient, quietly, and watching the room, he's a genius academically, never expressing what he knows, never asks for opinion from others, and gets away with everything.. He's a little ninja, but I try to learn from him everyday.. He wrote something at 6 years old that I've kept..it says... 'With a soft knock and a gentle voice, I will hunt them all down'.. Or perhaps it was," I will hunt them all down with a gentle knock, and a soft voice.. " I felt school was a disservice to him. He was stressed emotionally yet golden in behavior and accomplishments, so he stayed in special education yet in kindergarten was being given 2nd grade work so they would without my knowledge give him candy for preforming abilities for others, and then sleep all day at school, wouldn't eat breakfast or lunch, and stay up all night until 5am, and thus I was gaslit by teachers as if I was the one doing something incorrectly. I took him out of school once they stopped doing online classes at his public school.. and he actually started to talk, first with yes and no.. he says he hates public school so we homeschooling him, and rather than control when he get a bathroom break or letting teachers have him feel less than amazing by asking to implement 5 seconds of forced eye contact, even tho he's the best reader...I see the conditioning tactics school does, and after 4 teeth removed because of cavities from candy given without consent, to show ability, force eye contact to control him further, and his brilliant ability to soak knowledge, yet is private and introverted, it's a recipe for danger.. my kid learns because knowledge is a treasure, the learning is the treat, not working for rewards of competition, even tho he wins its awkward for him being praised for an achievement.

    • Really inspiring comment. thank you for expressing it here. He’s so blessed to have some support in his genius. (Who isn’t a genius when supported in being who they are instead of a product?). I was deemed the devil since a baby and abandoned. The product of an old marriage, never wanted around in the new one (except to bully and harass) . Started trying to run away about 7, as soon as I started coming out of extreme bliss I couldn’t express. Just now kinda learning to express it at 45, but this world always thought it was a competition and shunned me further. I learned at a young age that creativity was illegal. It’s all pretty easy, I just never saw anyone as happy or healthy, so didn’t listen. Makes sense to me. I learned that expression flows freely abundantly easily from perception, so is it even expression or just sunshine? I learned that cars are better then houses, since I never had a “home”. (Isn’t earth home?). I learned that making our own house and doing anything in the world is easy as long as I don’t do it around people that have been in school (fools). Yet everything is “private property”, so where to put them? And where to go? Why mobility. Everyone so lost in poverty thinc/ made up lack (a lack of perception). Extreme dysfunction is how school makes them. I learned to stay close to quiet nature. I’m best friends w myself and always have the best time (what child isn’t?). I’m on a constant date w myself and it’s the absolute best. No talking to anyone really except comments here n there n tons of music making. I have a 7 yo daughter but how relationships r these days, moms think children are their property of unconditional love food or some sort of product of them (like dogs). Until their kids are able to run away as well (or become dead like them w drugs or self blame). So yes I’ve never seen or talked to my daughter, except for a brief time when she was 3. I didn’t realize courts put money and lawyers over common sense when it comes to children. I decided to become a father to the whole world with my every action (who isn’t?). Parents generally just have kids to eat them/ bully them/ trash them when they’re all used up. Why age 12-18 has such high suicide rates now maybe the highest. Jesus says to let the dead bury the dead and “follow me”, pointing to his heart. 👉🏽💖

    • @@johnlal124 Perception is being aware of your surroundings; it is also being aware that you are aware of your surroundings. It is also being aware of your thoughts. It is being observant. Expression is talking about things, talking about your surroundings, and about what you are thinking and feeling. For example: You may go for a walk, and while walking you may remain silent and observe the many things around you. That is practicing perception. Then you might tell someone that you went for a walk and tell them about the things you heard and saw while walking. That is expressing. Perception perceives or takes in; expression expresses or gives out.

  • I enjoyed taking a few nuggets of knowledge from this video. If you're overstimulated, or exhausted the culprit is likely excessive expression (limited output). Conversely, perception is nearly boundless, as such we can learn and/or experience so much from it. I personally believe one should shoot for a "healthy" blend between the two modes. Sadhguru laid it out in such a simple and down to earth manner, bless him.

  • Just be, and percept what happens within and all around. Because expressing will only absorb what is happening and will cause chaos to keep rolling into a cycle. If we perceive then everything all around and from within has a solution and a reason from start to end. See, expressions usually last forever, and will always go and go and go all around without reason and a solution. So, this isvwhy having awareness to understand that being expressive and being perceptive are different from each other. Being expressive always starts chaos, confusion and a timeless cycle. Being perceptive will grow us to learn new things about ourselves and the world and to understand growth, the ugliness and beauty of life. I am a musician, so I perceive what I hear and it allows me to understand myself and what comes from within. 🙏😊🌎

A fiction author doesn't have a conventional job, but their writings entertain and enrich peoples lives. If everyone should work with their hands, there'd be no psychiatrists or psychologists or ministers or philosophers. Life would be boring. Sometimes you need to express, sometimes you need to be silent and percieve. Not one is better than the other. It is entirely situational and subjective. It is human to express. • To answer him at 4:04 many people have made such an impact on the world with their deeds, knowledge, expressed through words and expressing themselves through art that many people throughout the world will never forget them. Even after death they've helped people in their own lives. With their knowledge and deeds they've enlightened more people. As you are now, ironically.

  • This is a good way of expressing an age old adage that equates the ego with self-expression. Better to give a better alternative such as perception. This applies to most aspects of human activity. Curiosity vs. Anxiety Sex vs. Love If we keep demonising the negative it haunts us.

  • The moment consciousness woke from its rest or dormant period to begin a new cycle of knowing itself once again it/we began expressing our Self through infinite patterns which became forces, dimensions, particles, celestial bodies, objects, beings, and events. It is true we are as a whole moving back towards complete Oneness and rest to prepare for another cycle but I believe according to the Vedas we have a long way to go. So expression is the majority of the direction of consciousness and us right now. I think it's good to have both be still and listen and connect to our source and also enjoy the beauty of inner expression in the outer world.

    • Thank you for your great answer. I actually didn't see why the duality here. I think it's all about being an educated listener and know when to express yourself. If someone is not treating you or someone else right, you should express yourself otherwise you are not honest with yourself. Both are needed and complete each other.

  • why not do both? in my experience beautiful and powerful expression come from deep connected perception. The preoccupation with your actions lasting forever saddens me. This world and universe is so full of abundant wonder. Our lives are like a blink of an eye and it’s such a potent beautiful thing to let the world in and be expressive in a way to powerfully connect with others and then accept that it’s worth is in that moment of connection rather than in the fantasy of it how long it will last. And being powerfully perceptive is beautiful too and the two can feed each other. It does make me wonder if maybe he doesn’t mean expression as in art, but as im some othef form of expression. As far as i can tell this is about whether it ‘s better to connect to other people or to connect to the universe.
