Agreed, many children live in beautiful homes have the newest toys and clothes but what does that mean if they barely see their parents?

But to have a spouse to stick by your side when times are rough and are still able to have such a wonderful baby with her. Not having to worry about material wealth and enjoy life.. where your spouse loves you no matter what the situation and doesn't expect too much. That my friend only can be experienced. That's true love and I wish for those things everyday. Money is great don't get me wrong but knowing you're not gonna die without someone by your side through thick and thin is immeasurable. They may be poor in terms of money. However their riches comes in a different form and it's worth is far greater, though most wouldnt understand. It's not always what or how much you have but whom you're sharing it with that makes the difference. Such a beautiful family , may the gods bless them and keep them safe.
My father left when I was 5-6 years old and I have never known more about him since, so I find this pretty inspirational... I also have a daughter now and no matter how hard it gets, all I know is that I'll be always there for her.

There is nothing wrong with taking donations for your child's sake. They are wonderful parent's though.
Respect to her parents. They didn’t just leave her at home and have her sort herself out, they actually were able to squeeze in caring for her. I also love that the dad declined the money donations, he understood that they didn’t need brand new clothing, saying they weren’t in a situation for charity. This family is amazing, I wish them the bet of luck!

Although, it's probably why she got sick in the first place. But I understand sometimes we don't have a choice and have to take them to work with us, I mean no you can't leave a child alone under any circumstances at home. But when it comes to it affecting the child's health like it did in the cold wind and air, then it's better to take that great salary he gets and make a plan for a day care or something beter for her health and for them. He gets a great salary, 4 times more than the average person gets here in South Africa, so he really has no excuse.
I was blessed to take my son with me to work, DR'S visits, shopping and I would not go anywhere that he couldn't go to and when he turned 4 yrs. old I put him in school. He's 36 yrs.old now and very smart.

I"m a father to 3 kids, twin daughters and an adopted son. I can say with absolute honesty that the best memories I have with my kids were made when we were broke. The nights when we'd gather around the table and pull out the board games (usually monopoly) or play a PnP game like Cyberpunk 2020(decades before the 2070 videogame) and play till the sun came up the next day. Only the youngest twin is still with us and she has said the same. The best memories were made on the cheap.
Actually in Nigeria, most people earn a fraction of their monthly income but are still able to afford a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment. So I am just wondering, is the cost of living that high in China?

I have the greatest respect for this guy. He doesn't allow his situation and his life define him. When he said "It's a very simple life but we're happy, i have my wife's companionship, when i get home from work she prepares dinner for me and my child is very well behaved, i think happiness is very simple and it doesn't require a lot of money" it thoroughly moved me. This guy understands the very essence of life. Happiness is a state of contentment you can't give it to someone and it can't be taken from you. The more expectations you have in life the more it'll lead you feeling inadequate. Those who do not cherish what they have will never be contended even when they have a mountain of gold.
Unfortunately if everyone were like this guy, human civilization never would've progressed. Why invent new things or explore if everyone is content with having a spouse and child, food, and shelter?
Both parents want to do better. They earned 7000 yuan per month and only spend 400 yuan for rent, with just one bed in 100 sq ft room. If that's not an effort to get better in life, I'm not sure what else.

I totally agree. Those who grow up seeing their parents work hard to earn a living are most likely to become more successful. This reminds me of my childhood. My dad takes me to school in his motorbike ( rain or shine) There were times we get soaked due to heavy rain. He teaches, educated me with a lot of things while I’m riding on his motorbike. After school, I stay in one corner watching him work until it’s time for us to go home. It made me strong, resilient and successful.

Not all men. There’s single dad’s from divorce or widowed. A husband could have been laid off from his job and the wife has to work. My older brother retired from the Navy after twenty years and he was just 45 years old, he stayed home and his wife already had a career in marketing, so my brother was a stay at home dad, took care of their daughter, took her to school, did the grocery shopping, even cleaned the house, I think he was better at cleaning the house than my sister in law was! Lol.. maybe him being in the Navy, he had to see everything clean and organized and he still finds time to go jogging everyday. My cousin is raising three boys he got full custody of, he’s an awesome dad to his kids.
The child should be in kindergarten. The child should spend the day playing with other children and not be bored to death in a delivery box. You really think a responsible father would do that. A small traffic accident and it's all over. He has a helmet, she has no protection whatsoever. He honestly makes me angry. This is pure stupidity. It's not like he has no other choice.
