Meghan Markle sets the record straight on rumors that she made Kate Middleton cry during Sunday’s ‘Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special.’ The Duchess of Sussex says that it was actually the reverse and that Middleton apologized and sent her flowers. Markle also told Winfrey about why she didn’t feel protected by the royal institution.

Kate apologized but never came out to say that this was false and people still assumed their relationship was rocky cause "Meghan made Kate cry". The media continued to pit everything meghan did against Kate, putting them as rivals. It was sickening, how can you pit two woman against each other (one as the good person and the other as evil) when woman should be loving and respecting one another. Everything Meghan did was judged as inferior to Kate or as a rebellion against Kate on medias. So why can't she for once come out and say the truth? Kate gave her advice in regards to the flower girls needing to wear stockings, not just for “protocol” purposes but for their own comfort as the leather shoes can easily scrap and rub on their feet and ankles hurting/blistering their skins. Kates own daughter is the flower girl so she had serious concerns for her own daughters comfort! If you look at the pictures that day you can see Princess Charlotte lift her leg up to grab at her feet because she was uncomfortable or in pain! She made those little girls wear the leather shoes with out socks too! So Meghan decided on no stockings and no socks, which went against protocol for royal members and placing the flower girls in real discomfort all day! This is what made both of them upset with each other. I’m for the comfort of the children! And since not one of the flower girls were Meghan’s own kids, she has zero care or stake in their comfort. Kate on the other hand does! She is speaking up for her daughters welfare and that of the monarchy’s protocol and giving Meghan sound advice as a new member of the family who clearly is dismissive if not completely ignorant of how things are done!

To be honest, I am an Asian and i live in Asia. I'm not really following the news about the Royal Family, but The Great Britain Royal Family with no doubt is the most popular Royal Family in here. Everyone recognize them, and love them. And to be very honest, after watching the interview with Harry & Meghan, surprisingly me and my family have more respect towards the Royal Family especially William & Kate. They are really fit for the throne, cause they just never priotize themselves and know their duty well. Its sad to see an outsider, came in and acted like she can broke and control one of the longest monarchy in the world!

The media lied and said that Meghan made Kate cry, whic furthered their goal of perpetuating public dislike for Meghan. 3. The story helped to damage Meghan's reputation and was not even true 4. The people who knew the truth never stepped in to correct the false narratives or defend Meghan from the public backlash, chastisement and bullying and the resulting racist rhetoric spewed. So, given the "basket of lemons" Meghan was handed, what else was she supposed to do to defend her own reputation? Or do you want her to put on the British "stiff upper lip" and quietly endure the continued public bullying and defamation of character? It is unconscionable for you to chastise someone whose reputation was damaged by lying stories by the media, and those people who knew the truth never stepped in to correct it (and they are supposed to be family), and then this person decides to defend their own honour themselves by publically setting the record straight since noone else was going to do it.
