Hi every one, out on the moors here doing fox control with my Sako 75 6ppc, we have lots of rare nesting birds out here on the moors so fox control is essential so these two nights i am with my spotter and we try to get the numbers down getting a good result of five in total.
Lovely to see Jack showing his gratitude for his outing. Some nice shots as well, Simon. I really look forward to your Videos, mate.
Thanks a lot pal much appreciated.
You don’t need to apologise for anything Simon. Another fantastic production and definitely my type of reality TV. Thanks again for your efforts in producing these videos, they are greatly appreciated. Cheers.
Thank you so much Ace 👍
Your mate is moving around no problem. Hope for us all 😀
Ye cheers pal
Glad to see you've not been seduced by the dark side , no advertising or reviews just dammed good shooting , keep up the good work .
Thanks Eddie, ye may be i shouldn't write this but ye i have had the offers pal..
I appreciate you respecting the animals you culled. Some people just kick or drag them around like trash.
Thanks pal.
Lovely to see Jack out enjoying himself and good going on them foxes pard
Thank you my freind.
@@simon6ppc246 a friend of mine use to do this kind of work years ago to protect the grouse population, we nicknamed him grousy he had a black labrador to until she died
@@grimreaper1149 Funny you say this as our Grouse moor is just behind me also the reason i do this but didn't mention it in the video..
@@simon6ppc246 some people don't understand why the fox population has to be controlled, it's to protect other species of wildlife especially the grouse because they are rare, unfortunately this guy is gone now and the fox population is growing steadily again. Even the pine martens are getting out of control but they are protected for some reason given the fact they are a bigger threat to red squirrels more so than the grey squirrels, the pine martens also kill off the minks to
Thanks once again. Greetings from Ireland
Thank you too!
Another outstanding vid. I always love that music too. As always great shooting and thanks.
Thanks a lot pal.
Hey Jack it's nice to see you able to take Simon hunting with you again. And he's still able to shoot the way he has always done. Remember Jack there is nothing better than a loyal master.
Lol cheers Kevin.
Ol Jacks thinking, I’d rather be beside the fire mate!😂
Lol ye he got bored the last hour
Great work on the foxes, & great to see Jack out again. Thanks for posting the video.
Our pleasure Bunny
I like the way Jack gives his spotter a chance to shoot now and then....😉
Lol cheers Chris.
Great shooting video as usual, the Big Boy was moving well and enjoyed being out with you, still a keen nose on him. That’s going to be good for the red listed birds 🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊 , keep up the good work in these tranquil settings 🤗👏👏
Thanks David ye i didn't expect to get four that night but glad i went now as that lot could cause some serious damage.
Gradually working my way through your videos… Fantastic to watch, love the connection between a man and his dog, I’ve got a 18 month working cocker spaniel she’s my world!!❤️
Nice work as ever, Jacks having a great time out with his dad. Every time I go shooting my German Shepherd gives my kit a sniff, then back on the sofa.
Lol cheers pal.
it is great to see the interaction between you and Jack, and the footage of the rabbits, hares or whatever they are called there, was amazing. Those two boys quickly forgot whatever they were bragging to each other about and exited the area immediately upon hearing that fox call! That is one of those things you never forget.
Thank you Jeff much appreciated.
haha yea, Hares dont mess around and find out XD
Head up, ears forward - classic labrador interest - food or a shot! Really looking forward to the squirrel control video, Simon. It's something I do as much as I can.
Lol thank you Ian..
Great shooting and Jack seems to be walking better.
Thanks pal ye he does.
Old Brian May would having kittens (or maybe fox cubs) if he saw this 😂
Lol cheers pal.
Wow!!! Truly a beautiful place. 😺
Thank you
I wish my wife was as affectionate as Jack. You have to take care of those Curlew, they migrate to my farm in Oz and they're always welcome.
Lol cheers pal
Jack is a happy boy! Thanks for bringing him along, Simon.
Thank you Alan.
Nice shooting. The farmer's cat can be a threat to chicks of ground nesting birds. Here in Australia, cats and foxes have a huge impact on native wildlife.
Well ye it can be pal but its the farmers cat lol
Top shooting Simon very enjoyable your mates looking well to atb
Thank you Colin.
Another great video. Jack is a lucky dog.
Thanks William
Good stuff, I worked on shetland for 5 years, never seen so many rabbits in all my life, theres no predators up there, me and the mrs would take the work pick up out in the night and comb the fields with the truck headlights, all you see is tails, lol, used to do a lot of ferreting and lamping years ago back in wales, dont see many youngsters doing that now,
Ye thanks Twm and ye i know what you mean about the youngsters these days.
When Jack's happy, we're happy! 👍👍
Lol thank you.
The duck killer didn’t stand a chance - great professional job, as always. Thanks Simon.

Smoke in the camera = fox down. I'm always looking forward to the next job. You and Jack take care. The world is crazy these days.
Thank you Zum i sure will.
Beautiful countryside you have there. You made good that night with Jack . I lost my last 2 ducks and a couple hens(chickens) to foxes in the last month. I squeaked in a red with my mouth and got him with a 20 bore at 18 metres . The grey l called in also but missed him with my 223 .He was out tonite in a hard rain as l was closing up the hen house. I will get him soon. Cheers , always great to watch your skill in action, brilliant! always, farmer john
Thanks Farmer ye i was after one only last night but the shot wasn't safe so i had to let him go on his way.
@@simon6ppc246 Have a good day today. My roosters are telling at this very moment there is a fox or coyote near thier pen so off l go with the 17 hmr as to not wake the neighbor, 👍

As usual great video. Great time spent in the field with your best friend.
Thank you Simone
Thank you for your video, it is a joy and reminder of my own dog who I lost, being one with your surrounding is comfortable to watch. your area is beautiful to see. thanks again.
Thank you F B..
July there looks splendid. It’s a nasty 103f 39.4c here in north Texas with no relief in sight. I can’t get over how spot on you are. Great video. Thanks
Thank you Scott, ye top time of year here now and we have to be out there and make the most of it as Winter seems to come faster these days.
Jack is positively rejuvenated Can humans get prescribed with the same gear? 😂👍🏻
I think it's just chondroitin and glucosamine, over the counter joint health supplements.
Lol cheers pal.
Thank you again for the wonderful production. I think I'm going to invest in a caller. Plenty of foxes in TX, major predators on our ground birds, especially the young turkeys
Thanks Eric, get a caller my friend on the night they just bring them right in to you, in fact some times to fast as your not even ready for them.
@@simon6ppc246 That's funny about them coming in faster than you're ready. To modify a meme from Top Gun, 'too close for rifle; switching to pistol'.
Great job as usual! Really like your set up on top of that hill or knob, lots of options.
Thanks Greg 👍
To see Jacks tail wagging is all I need to see, a smile ear to ear or peeling onions.
Thanks Darrel.
A friend once told me with the RF and CF rifles, its better to side mount your illuminator or mounted under barrel if possible, reduces the reflection on the gas from the muzzle whiting out the scope after a shot. I know you don't need any advise but It just sprung to mind when I saw your IR torch ontop. great shooting as always, and great to see Jack
Ye cheers pal, to be fair that night a kind of mist set in which made the white out more than usual also the C50 picks it up more for some reason than other scopes i have used.
Right place right time...ready for this...even Jack's senses are better than your scopes👍👍👍
Lol cheers Ian.
Well done simon another good one . Those foxes look in very good condition. Keep them coming.👍
Thanks Dewayne ye they seem to appear from no where that night.
Good video! Always excited when you and Jack make a pest control video ‼️✅👊🏻
Thanks a lot Charles and stay safe.
Thanks for posting!
You're welcome
Always enjoy your work Amigo.. Glad to see your spotter doing so well too
Thanks a lot Floyd.
@@simon6ppc246 You often refer to Jack as your spotter. I would love to see a good picture of him hunkered down looking intently through a spotting scope, notebook and headset optional.
@@KJ6EAD Lol ye i have got it in the pipe line believe it or not 😂😂
Awesome shooting Simon spot on the farmer's have to be very pleased with your work and I could see that your mate Jack is very happy to be out with you as your spotter. Cheers brother
