I had to use a bead blaster on 80% of the tires I’ve changed. Your little trick to roll them around has worked every time for me since watching this. Saved me a ton of time

  • Your video was not too bad , but a few things I would suggest, since many tiremen don't work with new tires every day! There's no advantage of spreading lube on the sidewall, but should only be on the bead itself, (mounting lube should be anti rust/corrosion type) as you will pop the first side on and have only 1/3 to bar on the other side, (always remember, lube is your friend!) and detergent SHOULD be vegetable based! Flip the bars around next time, since the spoon side is for mounting The newer tool is fine in a tire shop, But Once the beads were broken, 2 bars were faster for me! Just a few observations from a retired mobile truck tire mechanic, after 34 years of working tires of all sizes!

  • Just a side note. In reference to inflation while on the 🚚 as this method he says is "safer," as the rim cannot fly and kill u. Just so people know and are safe. The air pressure alone at 100-110psi on a zipper split (tire rupture upon inflation) has a equivalent of 12ton of force. Yes, Just the air pressure has that kind of power. It's like being hit by a truck. So even if it's bolted to the truck the dangers are JUST as high. Yes the rim can kill you, but most injuries and death are from the air pressure. Search truck tire zipper split and you will see what I'm talking about. FYI this is my day job. Hope this helps, Not trying to take anything away from this guy or his video. Just trying to help others be safe and add on to info. 🙏🙏 safety first.
