    • I love Classical Thump, it is such a beautiful piece. I can only play one or two minutes of it, because it is so difficult... But "Tapical Thump" is even better than Classical Thump!

    • I think I can safely say that I've seen most of the top bass players in the world. But with Charles B, he can mimic the top bass player Styles and add his own spin to it. So in my opinion, I would have to say that he is the best bass player in the world!

    • He is a master of bass surely and I like his playing more than Davie's. But like everyone else I believe the good composer-bass player is always a better one than the rest, KZheadrs or not. (For me)

You took the several of toughest and most iconic bass solos, from some of the best bassists in the world, and played improved and better sounding versions of them all, in a beautifully understated way, as if it was nothing.     • I mean, he can play, but you can see on the last one for example, it doesn't sound as clean as the original as he's getting close to his limit. So there's still a bit of challenge when we takes on these. Anyway. His powers continue to grow stronger! So awesome!

    • It is even one of the worst, coz it sounds rly bad (i'm talking about the "impossible" part). Hard doesnt mean good. Charles basslines always sound terrific instead.

    • I don't play either and I can see how hard it is. The effort, dexterity, speed is obvious. Not to mention if you've listened to music all your life you can hear the difference between this and your average bass. You don't have to play to recognise sloppy Vs precise or funky playing. Music is mostly consumed by non musicians don't forget. I might not be able to replicate it, but I'm sure as hell feeling it.

    • @@leepek3575 I am too, as well from 80's and I can say, being a Pole from 80's makes you 100 times less likely to be famous. The ones that are famous had to go trough much longer and difficult process than people from the west, simply coz there was less or even total zero money pumped in their fame. So you have had to become a "bass-God", before somebody really paid attention to you. Then, if your band sings in Polish and you stick with them, you may still be born much later, God-of-whatever, but you will get no recognition worldwide, ever.

  • The fact that Marcus slapped teen town is insane. I can only play teen town regularly, I can’t even imagine slapping it. But it’s also quite complex to get Jaco’s clear and crisp sound, while moving your hand and shaping a lot.
