  • YES! HECKIN' YES! FINALLY! SOMEONE DOING A PROPER ANALYSIS OF CLOUD'S ARC IN THIS MOVIE WITHOUT MIS-CHARACTERIZING HIM! Seriously, those who call him an "Edgelord" (and not in the joking way or affectionate way) get on my nerves, because he's NOT. AN. EDGELORD! DID THEY WATCH THE SAME MOVIE!?

  • Bro - why you gotta make us all cry? Yes, a big draw to the story is how relatable cloud is to us and how much we yearn for the community that has come around him to help him through. Not to mention, a baddie like Tifa who is waiting on the other side of the trauma to be loved.

  • I'm so glad to see someone understands Cloud better in this movie. I commonly hear people saying AC sucks and that it ruined Cloud's character, but I always liked how they portrayed him in the movie and thought it was a great wrap-up to his character arc. I was never able to put it on more proper words what was so good about his characterization, but you were able to express it so well!

  • Second part of the video hit me like a truck. Was not expecting that but I can definetly say, I needed that. This video, your channel they are not that big. And I didn't search for it either. I just started watching FFVIIRebirth a day ago and really got into the story and was really interested what Cloud's character signified. I am in a really bad place in my life right now, so out of the millions of videos, THIS video being recommended to me out of nowhere, while I'm in one of my lowest points is a big surprise to me. I hope you continue helping others like you did to me, I may not have taken thing you said to heart, but atleast now I will try. Thank you

  • Wow, awesome video. I'm a lifelong FF fan, but just making my way into the famous 7 cause these remakes look cool so good a time as any. That said, I'm 35 hours into the original game, and I am hip to how it ends generally just from listening to stuff about it. That said, I watched Advent Children just last night, and fucking adored it with all my heart. And that's how I found this video. Sorry for essay, but what I mean to convey is thanking you for this video. It's a very thoughtful follow up to a film I enjoyed greatly. I'll definitely sub in for sure.

  • As the night draped its veil over the city, a young man found himself waiting at a train station. His evening took a drastic turn when a mysterious figure, devoid of clothes but exuding an aura of danger, approached him. It was the Terminator, a relentless machine on a mission. "I like your outfit, give it to me now," the Terminator demanded in its cold, mechanical voice. The man, startled and defiant, refused, telling the cyborg to leave him alone. But the Terminator was not one to be deterred by words. With a swift and deadly motion, it grabbed the man by the neck, ending his resistance with a snap, and claimed his clothes for its disguise. The next afternoon, amidst the vibrant life of the slums, Cloud found himself assisting Aerith in donating flowers to the Leaf House. Their act of kindness brought smiles to the children's faces, but little did they know of the impending danger lurking in the shadows. After their charitable endeavor, Aerith suggested they visit her home and spend the night. Cloud, still reeling from the recent strange events, agreed. Upon arriving, Aerith introduced Cloud to her mother, Elmyra, who welcomed him warmly. Cloud, mindful of his sword, concealed it under the bed in the guest room. As evening descended, Aerith proposed a date, enticing Cloud with the promise of delicious food and fun. Though initially nervous, Cloud found reassurance in Aerith's confidence. Before they left, Elmyra, with a mother's concern, warned them about the unsettling discovery near the train station the previous night. Confused and slightly unnerved, Aerith and Cloud ventured into the night, hand in hand. Cloud's unease melted away in the warmth of Aerith's touch, and a shy smile graced his lips as they walked through the slums, unaware of the danger closing in on them. As the night deepened in Midgar, the Terminator, now disguised in stolen clothes, marched down the sidewalk with purpose. Spotting a phone booth, it accessed the phonebook, scanning names from A to C. There was only one Cloud Strife listed, with an address a few blocks away. The Terminator, confident in its tracking abilities, swiftly made its way to the designated apartment complex. Unaware of the impending tragedy, a different Cloud Strife with dark brown hair and black eyes lounged in his apartment. Enjoying a solitary evening with pizza, soda, and television, he was interrupted by a persistent knock at the door. Initially dismissing it as a random visitor, the intensity of the second knock drew his attention. Opening the door cautiously, he was met with the Terminator's cold, unyielding gaze. "Is your name Cloud Strife?" the Terminator inquired, its voice devoid of emotion. The different Cloud, taken aback but truthful, replied, "No." However, the Terminator, programmed to detect lies, saw through his words. With brutal efficiency, the Terminator kicked down the door, its handgun with laser sighting aimed at the unsuspecting Cloud. Ignoring his pleas and screams of innocence, the Terminator fired multiple shots, leaving the different Cloud writhing in agony on the floor. The Terminator, believing its mission accomplished, exited the apartment without a second thought, unaware that it had just eliminated the wrong Cloud Strife. Cloud and Aerith, Hand in hand, strolled through the bustling streets of Midgar, Sector 6, until they reached Fantjinore, a charmingly fancy restaurant. Aerith beamed with excitement as she announced their arrival, while Cloud, ever stoic offered a mild acknowledgment of its appearance Inside, the ambiance of Fantijinore enveloped them in an atmosphere of elegance. They settled at a table near the bar, awaiting the waiter’s arrival. Aerith couldn't help notice Cloud’s eyes, finding them mesmerizing. “Your eyes, Cloud, they look beautiful,” she remarked, to which Cloud responded matter-of-factly about his mako-induced appearance. Their moment of tranquility was interrupted when the waiter approached, taking their orders before disappearing into the bustling restaurant. Suddenly, the news blared from a flatscreen TV near the bar, reporting a grim incident. “"Attention Midgar citizens, it appears around 9:05 PM, a 19-year-old man named Cloud Strife was found dead in his apartment. Witnesses heard about 6 gunshots and discovered a smashed window," the news anchor announced. Aerith froze in shock, realizing the tragic fate that befell a person who shared her new boyfriend's name. Cloud, although concerned, tried to reassure her, echoing his belief that they were safe from such violence. However, Aerith couldn't shake off her growing unease, recalling her mother's warning about recent killings in the city. "Don't worry, I'll be fine," Cloud reassured Aerith, attempting to dispel her fears. Aerith, torn between worry and trust, couldn't help but think of Elmyra's concerns. Cloud, sensing her apprehension, added, "I'm sure she's fine. What's the worst that could happen?" Meanwhile the Terminator, driven by its relentless pursuit, approached Aerith’s house under mistaken belief that Cloud Strife was inside. As it crossed the front yard and reached the bridge near the waterfall, it noticed an open window, a potential entry point. Inside the house, Elmyra, unaware of the impending danger, was in the midst of her nightly routine. As she brushed her teeth and washed her face in the bathroom, half-expecting a surprise, but found nothing amiss. However, a nagging sense of unease lingered as she noticed Aerith’s room left open, a detail she was certain she hadn't missed before Curiosity turned to horror as the Terminator, hiding in Aerith’s closet, revealed itself with a forceful slam of the closet door. Elmyra’s scream pierced the air as the cyborg seized her, throwing her out of the upstairs window with brutal force, shattering the glass. Elmyra’s body crashed onto the ground below, her legs bearing the brunt of impact, shattering bones and leaving her incapacitated. Despite her injuries, she attempts to crawl away in a desperate bid for survival but it proves meaningless; the Terminator then catches up to her and grabs her by the arm and turns on the stove onto max heat. And plants her face onto the hot burning stove burning her face killing her. The Terminator, now inside Aerith's house, intensified its search for clues to locate and eliminate the real Cloud Strife. Its cold, calculating eyes scanned every corner, leading it to the guest room where it discovered a massive sword hidden underneath the bed. With a quick scan, the Terminator confirmed that the weapon belonged to a blonde man with spiky hair and blue eyes named Cloud Strife. Satisfied with this crucial piece of information, the Terminator descended the stairs just as the phone began to ring. Without hesitation, it picked up the phone and heard Aerith's voice on the other end, inquiring about her mother's well-being. Seizing the opportunity, the Terminator mimicked Elmyra's voice flawlessly, assuring Aerith that everything was fine. Relieved, Aerith bid farewell, believing her mother was safe. Unbeknownst to her, the Terminator had deceived her with chilling precision. With its facade intact, the Terminator swiftly left the house, commandeering a stolen car as it sped towards Midgar, its target locked on Cloud Strife. As Aerith returned to Cloud, assuring him of her safety, Cloud couldn't help but tease her gently, saying, "I told you so," with a bright smile. Their mood lightened as they prepared to enjoy their meal, both feeling famished after their eventful day. They indulged in their food, savoring each bite, and eventually finished their meals, paying the bill with contentment. Aerith, feeling the need for refreshment, mentioned going to the bathroom after enjoying strawberry lemonade. However, before she could leave, Cloud reached out to her, his expression filled with a mix of affection and anticipation. Aerith turned to him, curious about his sudden gesture, and as Aerith's theme softly played in the background, Cloud leaned in and kissed her tenderly. Their kiss was a moment of pure connection, drawing the attention of onlookers who applauded their love. Aerith and Cloud embraced each other tightly, sharing their love openly. "I love you, Aerith," Cloud whispered, to which Aerith replied with equal warmth, "I know you do." After their romantic interlude, Aerith excused herself to the bathroom, leaving Cloud to bask in the moment, closing his eyes with a contented smile as he drifted into a nap. Little did they know the Terminator has arrived to eliminate his target as tension starts to build up. The Terminator then enters the building shoving the receptionist out of his way. As he walks into the main dining area and through the bar he then notices his target as he approaches his target. While Cloud is still taking a nap the Terminator then brings out his handgun with plasma laser sighting and aims at Cloud’s head Meanwhile, bystander's tried to warn Cloud to wake up but it was too late the Terminator pulled the trigger, ending Cloud's life. As Cloud’s lifeless body then slumps onto the floor the Terminator puts 5 more bullets into his chest. The Terminator then walked out of the restaurant completing its mission. Many customers then started to run out the restaurant with fear while some just stood there in complete shock. Aerith, returning from the bathroom, was met with a horrifying sight: Cloud's lifeless body on the floor. She rushed to him, holding him tightly, but the reality of his loss hit her hard. Tears streamed down her face as she realized that Cloud would never speak, laugh, or smile again.
