    • Thank goodness for that. Clint Eastwood . . . the fool who disgraced himself at the RNC by reprimanding an empty chair, pretending Barack Obama was sitting in it. A sickening performance embodying the pathetic hurt feelings of all aging white men who simply couldn't reconcile there being a black president. We all have our own less-than-proud moments in life but damn.

    • There was, however, one movie that Clint came out with an Orangutan (I believe his name was "Manis") who gave the middle fingers to everyone. That was hilarious! I also was disappointed because he didn't receive an Academy Awards Oscar for it. Of the three actors, CE, Ronald Reagan and Manis (the Orangutan) was the best actor of them all.

The orangutan’s name was “Clyde” There was some well known actors in the casts including Clint’s girlfriend at the time Sandra Locke. The first movie was a box office hit which explains the sequel. Oh…and Clyde was definitely deserved at the very least a nomination for best supporting actor. 👍

I had the honor of meeting Clint several times and am proud to say that! The last time I saw him 6 years ago, he told me that if he was to retire, he would be dead within two years. He said he continue to produce movies until he drops! I love the fact that he pretty much told Pervywood (Hollywood) to go "F" itself! We need more like Clint Eastwood! • I was stationed at Fort Ord from 1969 to 71 and was able to see Eastwood filiming 'Play Misty for Me' nearby in Carmel. The post was just a few miles from Carmel on the coast and I used that same pool a number of times myself. Carmel is pretty much an artist colony with notable celebs living in the area. Besides acting he owned a tavern there called, 'The Hogs Breath Saloon'. I believe he was even the mayor there for a while.
