  • Cassidy Hutcheson was the proverbial fly on the wall. She was totally dismissed by those in power as having any importance because she was "just an aide" and had no policy or decision making ability. She just was at EVERY meeting, taking notes, sending texts, making phone calls, and hearing everything. But because she sat to the side and kept her mouth shut they forgot about her. The fly on the wall. Good for her!

  • Cassidy Hutchinson told the truth. And was great to hear from a woman, whom x45 claims he barely knows her. Cassidy has more balls and backbone than any of the men. When he says he barely knows her, that only means she turned down his advances and refused to birth another x45 child. You did great job testifying!!! Stand tall and be proud of who you are and what you testified to. Only one of a few that took your job seriously!!

    • I think she's a remarkable young woman: one with a conscience, a real sense of duty, and genuine intelligence, who probably worked in an atmosphere of casual sexist bullying, for one of the world's most solipsistic and self-absorbed leaders. Her refreshing appearance of honesty (none of us on the outside knows what happened, but she certainly presents as candid and truthful to me) probably terrifies the people she is describing because they have been subsumed into a culture of untruthfulness, vanity, flattery, disorganisation and self-interest for so long that, as we say in the UK, they wouldn't recognise the truth if it jumped up and bit them on the arse. Sadly, our Conservative government here, led by Boris Johnson, he of toddler haircut fame, is following in 45's (shoe lifted) footsteps. We could do with a person of conscience to tell the truth about our own chaotic 'government'. The novelty alone would be welcome.

Since the standard excuse for this travesty of a mockery of a sham dropping due process, representation for the defendant, cross examination or any other traditional aspects of a modern justice system is that it’s just an investigation why would anyone care about what she said? • Being a "low level" staffer does not immediately disqualify you from having relevant information for a hearing. In fact, those same low level staffers will probably have the most damning information. And because they are treated like "low level" staffers, they have very little incentive to keep quiet about the things they have seen/heard, or lie. Example: Go to any hotel/motel, and talk to house keeping staff. They are considered low level staff. But they also have the most information about what is going on there. Often times they can tell you who is staying there, who is doing what, and which rooms would be the best to search for drugs. "Low level" staff are often invisible to those in higher positions. Came in to refresh the water, heard a plot to take over the world. Walked out again. I'm not saying that Cassidy Hutchinson is/was a "low level" staffer, but Faux News claiming that being a low level staffer means she didn't have access to anything relevant is absurd. Maybe we should talk to the Faux News low level staffers, see what's really going on behind the scenes.

When it comes to a criminal trial, all the coaching in the world will not erase those comments. It will be dismissed as hearsay. You can either quote what you heard (overheard) or you can't. • 4:30 There are well over 3,000 comments on this video already, and I realise no one is likely to ever even see these words - yet I want to express to the universe that this type of palpable outrage, cleverly and comically expressed, is why I and millions of others value Seth Myers and his team. 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️

  • What's good about "she was a junior staffer" is exactly why these "rich and powerful" liers fall on their faces. Because they forget about the little people who actually make the wheels turn ... make notes and observations and have nothing to lose. The person you should fear the most is the person with nothing to lose.

    @tryfree1@tryfree1 Жыл бұрын
    • Well, she does have a lot to lose, which makes this more impressive. And she was NOT particularly "junior", but you are right - often it is the secretaries and the "drones" so to speak who have front row seats to a lot of important stuff.

    • Yes, they can call her a "coffee girl" if they want to, but the committee showed us where her desk was, between the President, the Chief of Staff and the Deputy Chief of Staff. From the photo, it looked like she could see the Oval Office from her desk. She was senior enough to walk into a closed-door Oval Office meeting when Meadows got a call from Rep. Jim Jordan, and *they didn't stop talking* when she opened the door. She had first-hand knowledge of what Trump said before his speech, along with several other key events. Let's not forget the Watergate hearings where the existence of a White House taping system was first revealed in televised testimony by Alexander Butterfield, who was the chief assistant to H. R. Haldeman, Richard Nixon's Chief of Staff.

    • @@jimuicker4731 This is always Trump's go to move. Some on the right are now calling her an intern! But why would the Senior White House Counsel go to an intern to try to prevent the President from going to the Capitol? And I recall an interview with a former White House Senior staffer who worked as a technical advisor on "The West Wing" and in one episode, they mentioned that the proximity of a person to the Oval was a sign of one's importance. Office size also mattered, but everyone wanted to be close to the Oval - it was a status symbol.
