Thank you for featuring two members of WOT Arty Noobs. llol97 [TRACH] and a_finger_nail_clipping are both Arty players on our KZhead channel and along with other members sending in great Arty games. Arty really can win battles and support their teammates. You can see this in the latest video where Major_Nuisance saves the ikv90 from being killed twice. Once by killing the T26E5 Patriot at close range and the shotgunning the FV304 in the face.

The Bishop as a soothing antidote to facing up to OP paper tanks. I love playing it. My Bishop often delivers 'Last Rights', courtesy of the excellent crew.

Wasn't it nice of WG to not only nerf the HE of arties, but also make the tracers more visible, AND come out with the sound detection mod, so players know in advance when an arty shell is on the way. Plus, you get to lose money, after all that frustration. It's amazing anyone plays them any more.

Fun fact: They nerfed the Bert so hard over the years that the Bishop with the same gun has a quicker rate of fire. And faces a tier lower tanks. It's awesome low-tier fun. My favorite, though is the SU-14-1, as it has good gun options, including a massive troll gun at T7 that consistently does 1000+ damage versus anything it hits in the side. Best of all, it's under the historical vehicles section, so you spend your training coin on the T6 Russian heavy tree of your choice, grind to unlock the T7 tank, then simply buy the one and only SPG you need for the missions with silver. I recommend the middle gun as it is consistent. The top gun is troll, though, IF you do it. But the 40+ second reload is epic long.

The most accurate SPG is probably the Crusader SP with the small gun. Due to its low profile you can get into some outrageous hull down spots and beat on heavy tanks.

Agreed. And a reload below 10s means you can repeat hit tracked tanks. The aim circle is smaller than many tank hull = real hard to miss... And the high trajectory means you can drop shots behind things easy.... My fave gun....till they give me a Katyusha....or Smerch....

On the Ensk map, that corner of the house (right behind the bushes) is one of, if not the best, SPG position. It gives you great positioning to hit almost anywhere on the map, your shell has a shorter distance to travel, you have bushes to conceal yourself and the house to take cover as you reload. ... and I just gave that secret away to all non-SPG players.

Good point about sick tanks hiding and spotting for their SPG's especially at the back end of a losing game. I've seen it (as an SPG player) work when teams do the right thing. E.g. we have 1xTD and 2xSPG left in the game vs say 4 enemy tanks. Work together and win. Simple! 🙂 BTW the short range British SPGs like FV304, and Crusader SP with the same gun as the FV304 are great fun to play but I can't get on with the Bishop, it's too slow. With the close range accurate shooting, aim for the tracks to up your scoring (no stun with that gun)

I think of the Bishop as a close support mortar team. That high arc of fire enables you to support your advancing teammates by hitting the opposing heavies that think they are great players because they have armour and know how to side-scrape behind a rock. A great neutralizer in the game of rock-scissors-paper also known as WOT.

The Bishop is fun because it's so bad. When the clouds part, and you have a slightly decent game, you're like: "This is amazing! I'm the greatest WOT player ever!" I had so many zeros grinding that spg. Especially good when your team wins a 4 minute blowout, and you never get close enough to fire a shot.

Before the nerf, my two favorite SPGs were the M44 and the S-51. I could take out a light tank on a dead run with the M44, and I loved one -shotting even medium tanks with the S-51. The S-51 is now basically useless with low damage and long reload. I do get out my M44 occasionally, until the frustration level gets too much and I rage quit.

The M44 was always my go-to SPG. Then when it got NERF-ED, the SU8 was the next in line..... but... for the giggles the BISHOP is the defacto entertainment one. The FV304 a close second. Its the Bishop with more speed. Claus, find a FV game for the next SPG day. 🤪 I stopped at the SU8 & FV304 for the Brits/Russians. Slow firing as dirt higher up, not to mention the backwards-driving Brit after the FV, Huh!!!!

As a dedicated SPG player, the Bishop is good for high-arc hits. The reload is great, but the shells spend so much time in the air that to hit a tank on the move is near impossible. RNG doesn't count as much as luck does.

Tier IX American SPG with stock gun has more DPM than the bigger gun or the Tier X SPG. Faster reload and more accurate. I'm consistently in the top 3 when I paly it.

When you describe a faster Bishop, that is the FV304 is the very same Bishop gun but a lot way faster, in fact I have one with a turbo just for troll maybe is not the best tier VI SPG but sure is a really fun one, do not bring a lot of damage but is really good tracking the enemy.

Pre-nerf, T92 was definitely OP if it hit anywhere near the target. It was fun. I go with whichever gun has the highest RoF for arty. It usually is the smaller gun and has the benefit in most cases of also being the more accurate. Keep dropping rounds and keep the enemy stunned and tracked.

Fellow viewers and dedicated Clausian minions, what we have witnessed here this today is a classic example of the "Jekyll and Hyde Syndrome". Somedays we will a version of Claus completely removed from the video at hand, off on tangents of whose origins only Claus knows from where they spawned. Other days we have Claus dealing directly on the task at hand, the commentary so laser focused on the attention to detail of maneuver, RNG, the tactical/technical aspects of the tank/vehicle and the overall gameplay of the featured combatant that we can totally comprehend the pixel game WG has graciously provided us with. There is the part where he does mention "it is hard being green" n regard to the Bishop. If we have any question about the validity of this statement, just ask Kermit. Or David Banner. Or Ryan Reynolds.

My favorite SPG is the Leafblower. Only good thing about it is the DPM (3406), but it has no splash damage and is really slow. Plus 95% of the time MM makes you bottom tier.

bond gun Rammmmmer case of coke BIA 1646.40 theres only 1 gun for that 155mm and that 1646.40 is using the no splash costy round 1372 for the HE round with tiny splash and DPM 987 fpr heat 100% crew 6 perks so where you getting that + 97.6 dpm or was that B4 the nurf ? HE 1442 DPM for the M44 no splash 1730.81 so this is with a 20.88 reload time vs 21.87 for the M41

FEGANO KRWALL has the largest number of SPG kills 2398 in total 2109 in the M 53. I have to know^^ That's my acc^^ When it comes to the firing radius of the T 92, I always just say a watering can, that thing spreads like one, but if you're made of paper, you'll get a little wet too^^

What I think is crazy is that yes at the high tiers the HE nerf was a huge reduction in damage, but at the lower tiers it doesn’t seem to have reduced damage. This is especially true for the f’ing Leffy bastard. That thing needs to be removed from the game.

T92 HMC was the best tier 10 arty until they nerfed it. like they do everything that's not Russian. T92 HMC used to be so much playing doing massive damage and now it rarely hits anything and you lose tons of credits every time you battle with it.

my fav until they nerfed them now can't hit the side of a barn from inside you're lucky to hit 1/5 shots and then it bloody bounces or you get armour not penetrated oh the good old days when you could surgically remove enemy from between friendly tanks without damaging teammates

The second game, it's a Crusader with the small gun normally used on the Bert. It fires stupid fast and high arc - much faster than the Bert, but vs T8 tanks is almost worthless. Bad choice, really. You can see it in the end game stats - he barely did any damage. Just 500 or so in total. Usually the smaller gun is better on most SPGs, but the Crusader SP is really terrible with the small gun. Note that the Bishop has the exact same gun as its larger gun - but what a difference 2 levels makes. VS T5 and T6 tanks, it's murder. The Crusader? Nothing at all vs T8 and T9 tanks.

i loved the Bishop but i found the FV304 or "Bert the Avenger" to be way harder to play, i never got in sync with Bert!

The M44 was always my go-to SPG. Then when it got NERF-ED, the SU8 was the next in line..... but... for the giggles the BISHOP is the defacto entertainment one. The FV304 a close second. Its the Bishop with more speed. Claus, find a FV game for the next SPG day. 🤪 I stopped at the SU8 & FV304 for the Brits/Russians. Slow firing as dirt higher up, not to mention the backwards-driving Brit after the FV, Huh!!!!

As a dedicated SPG player, the Bishop is good for high-arc hits. The reload is great, but the shells spend so much time in the air that to hit a tank on the move is near impossible. RNG doesn't count as much as luck does.

Tier IX American SPG with stock gun has more DPM than the bigger gun or the Tier X SPG. Faster reload and more accurate. I'm consistently in the top 3 when I paly it.

When you describe a faster Bishop, that is the FV304 is the very same Bishop gun but a lot way faster, in fact I have one with a turbo just for troll maybe is not the best tier VI SPG but sure is a really fun one, do not bring a lot of damage but is really good tracking the enemy.

FYI they nerfed the heck out of the M44 as well. It is far less accurate than it was before the adjustments.
Pre-nerf, T92 was definitely OP if it hit anywhere near the target. It was fun. I go with whichever gun has the highest RoF for arty. It usually is the smaller gun and has the benefit in most cases of also being the more accurate. Keep dropping rounds and keep the enemy stunned and tracked.
My HMC with 100% crew and equipment only has a DPM of 1744 even with the biggest gun in the game.
Hey Claus - There needs to be a new tank designation for the Bishop. Instead of SPG, how about SPA = Self-propelled Annoyance?
Fellow viewers and dedicated Clausian minions, what we have witnessed here this today is a classic example of the "Jekyll and Hyde Syndrome". Somedays we will a version of Claus completely removed from the video at hand, off on tangents of whose origins only Claus knows from where they spawned. Other days we have Claus dealing directly on the task at hand, the commentary so laser focused on the attention to detail of maneuver, RNG, the tactical/technical aspects of the tank/vehicle and the overall gameplay of the featured combatant that we can totally comprehend the pixel game WG has graciously provided us with. There is the part where he does mention "it is hard being green" n regard to the Bishop. If we have any question about the validity of this statement, just ask Kermit. Or David Banner. Or Ryan Reynolds.

Maybe premium ammo avoider should play the bishop, if he hits he is bound to increase his average damage.
I once got a top gun in the Bishop in the first 3 minutes of the game. Also won a 1v4 in it. Pre- nerf of course though. Kinda sucks now.

I agree that Bishop needs some moe bill a tee. I like the Crusader SPG. It’s what the Bishop aspires to.
My favorite SPG is the Leafblower. Only good thing about it is the DPM (3406), but it has no splash damage and is really slow. Plus 95% of the time MM makes you bottom tier.
bond gun Rammmmmer case of coke BIA 1646.40 theres only 1 gun for that 155mm and that 1646.40 is using the no splash costy round 1372 for the HE round with tiny splash and DPM 987 fpr heat 100% crew 6 perks so where you getting that + 97.6 dpm or was that B4 the nurf ? HE 1442 DPM for the M44 no splash 1730.81 so this is with a 20.88 reload time vs 21.87 for the M41
Playing arty can be so freakin funny 😬 Personal favorites, tier 6 Russian SU8, fast, shoots fast and hits hard. And tier 8 Russian, the Scum-bus. Best all around arty in the whole game. And off course the LeFh, just to upset players.

The SU player was really annoying switching between view modes, but it's classy to win a battle with a ram from an SPG :)

FEGANO KRWALL has the largest number of SPG kills 2398 in total 2109 in the M 53. I have to know^^ That's my acc^^ When it comes to the firing radius of the T 92, I always just say a watering can, that thing spreads like one, but if you're made of paper, you'll get a little wet too^^
What I think is crazy is that yes at the high tiers the HE nerf was a huge reduction in damage, but at the lower tiers it doesn’t seem to have reduced damage. This is especially true for the f’ing Leffy bastard. That thing needs to be removed from the game.
T92 HMC was the best tier 10 arty until they nerfed it. like they do everything that's not Russian. T92 HMC used to be so much playing doing massive damage and now it rarely hits anything and you lose tons of credits every time you battle with it.

I don't know what it is, but I always feel better after a battle in my FT-BS. Sometimes arty is fun due to the lack of pressure.

my fav until they nerfed them now can't hit the side of a barn from inside you're lucky to hit 1/5 shots and then it bloody bounces or you get armour not penetrated oh the good old days when you could surgically remove enemy from between friendly tanks without damaging teammates

The second game, it's a Crusader with the small gun normally used on the Bert. It fires stupid fast and high arc - much faster than the Bert, but vs T8 tanks is almost worthless. Bad choice, really. You can see it in the end game stats - he barely did any damage. Just 500 or so in total. Usually the smaller gun is better on most SPGs, but the Crusader SP is really terrible with the small gun. Note that the Bishop has the exact same gun as its larger gun - but what a difference 2 levels makes. VS T5 and T6 tanks, it's murder. The Crusader? Nothing at all vs T8 and T9 tanks.
